Came by with familia and I have to say that this was some great tasting food. We had the duck which I have never had but have to say that the familia loved it. Duck was tender and tasty and service was awesome as well. Fried rice was great with a wonderful tase along with the teriyaki chicken and vegetable low Mein's noodles. Do not expect Szechuan cuisine or even normal Chinese food at this restaurant. All the dishes are soaked in broth. The beef is unnaturally tender. I wondered if their cooks know how to STIR FRIED. I ordered the hot and sour soup and it was very good and fresh and had some nice heat to it, very large portion and definitely can be shared and seeing I was alone, I took the rest home. Perfect! Needed some non-hotel food and always try to find something where the locals go. This is in a strip mall, on a major road through town. Easy to get to from downtown and worth the drive. What a wonderful place in a strip mall that caught our attention with its reviews in Yelp! Stopped by first for a paper menu then we went back the next day just as it opened. What a wonderful decision we made to go and and try their dishes. First we ordered appetizers which consisted if egg rolls, steam dumplings, spring rolls and cheese wontons.. the eggrolls were quite tasty and were hot out of the fryer served with sauce. The steam dumplings were fresh and served with dumplings sauce. The cheese wonton were delivious and were devoured within seconds along with the taste sweet and sour sauce that came with the dish. We had ordered sweet tea, Dr Pepper and lemonade along with some water and refills were given when asked. Which was very nice! Next the main dishes...we ordered Mongolian beef, beef chow fun, orange beef, shredded pork(Sichuan style),and Singapore style curry rice noodles. The Mongolian beef was very good with all of the fried onions and beef was very tender. The beef chow fun was great with its smokey flavor and noodles. The orange beef was excellent with its crispness and tangy taste if orange. The Singapore style dish was great with bits of egg , chicken, veggies and the taste of the curry was just right. The shredded pork had a unique flavor and we were told that it would be spicy but we couldn't taste the difference . Overall this was a great find with excellent service! Today was the first time going to Neo Szechuan. I went with 2 buddies. The restaurant was brightly lit, small (10 tables) and very clean. They have a menu with plenty of choices. I had Twice Cooked Pork, Buddy #1 had Mixed Vegetables with Tofu, and Buddy #2 had Sweet and Sour Chicken. Everyone agreed that the quality of the food was excellent and everything came out quickly and piping hot. I thought my Twice Cooked Pork was some of the gest I have had in a long time. II truly tried to make this 4 stars because I hate hurting a small business with owners working the front lines and working hard! But, I just can't. Not for the price! We spent $55 for 2 apps, and 2 entrees! This was my first visit here but had heard some good things. We ordered a ton of food, takeout, for a new years day feast for two! We got the veggie spring rolls, the cheese rangoons, the Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp w/ fried rice, and the orange chicken with white rice. Their online ordering platform said the order would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived just at the 30 minute mark, and my food was sitting on a table to be picked up. I have no idea how long it'd truly been ready for, but by the time I took the 10 minute drive home, and opened everything up, my entire order had completely lost it's crunch!! I'm huge on to-go packaging and they don't do a very good job of it here. The food is just simply thrown in Styrofoam and left to sit on a side table with no heat around. A bit more care could be used to put some holes in the box to at least let the food breathe a bit, and not get soggy, especially when you finish it before the estimated pickup time! F+ to D- range on their to-go packaging..... To the food! The Apps had great taste and I think would be wonderful ordered for dine in. Not a fan of them to-go though, unless you want to re-cook them yourself. Personally, I hate paying 50+ bucks for a meal I have to reheat myself. After the Ole lady stuck them in the toaster oven they were pretty good though! The Honey walnut shrimp lacked in flavor, and in texture. Where it was great was portion and shrimp size. Them some bigguns! Butttt, Like the apps there was no crunch at all and the meal was a bit mushy. The flavor I love from a good honey walnut srhimp was also not there. It was more sweet mayo-ish than honey ish! at a swift $19.25, I will never order this again! The orange chicken was about what you'd expect from orange chicken. It wasn't blowing my doors off, but it was okay. I'd take some bites of it, but probably wouldn't personally order it. Overall, I'll be back for a dine in visit to be fair, and I'll definitely choose a different entree. The portions are big, but the price is a bit high! read more

I dropped in to get some takeout and found out that the folks that run this place had a restaurant on the Vegas strip. Not sure why they moved here but I'm glad they did. This is a sichuan style restaurant, so a lot of chili oils and pepper corns. The food is actually really good. One dish that pops out in flavor is the sichuan scallops. It's different from what I'm used to, not straight stir fried but more bathed in a chili oil. It was pretty good but a little light on the scallops. The roast duck and chow fun noodles were also amazing. This is not a huge restaurant and I only saw one server, who I think is the owner. This is decent Chinese food with attention to freshly made, flavor and heat. They do a great job of making tasty dishes that aren't greasy like in many chain restaurants. I got salt n pepper shrimp and what was supposed to be pad thai. However, I was served Singapore noodles and when asked if this was Pad Thai, I was told yes. It was a younger girl who was waiting on me and she didn't seem like she knew what was what. I know what pad thai tastes and looks like and I clearly could tell it was not. I flagged down a different staff member which I asked if it was Pad Thai and they said no, it was Singapore noodles. But that was 20 mins later into our meal and we ate about half the noodles. The other employee did not care to correct the issue for us and get the Pad Thai I ordered. They also charged me for the Singapore noodles which I didn't want in the first place and it even cost more. If they weren't going to give me the Pad Thai I had ordered at least give me a small discount? Food was good but service was poor so I will not be returning unfortunately. read more
