Nice Italian restaurant, try the special tonight, seafood pasta and it was really good. Someone in our group also had the orrecietti with sausage and rabi and really like it. Two others had pizza and said it wasn't great. The service was good and friendly.

The place looks wonderful with nice white tablecloths and great friendly waiter. They have bottled water product of Italy. The orecchiette pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe was good. They made it creamy and green. Broccoli rabe and sausage was cut very small. I didn't care for either of the pizzas we got. The principessa pizza was with prosciutto but the smell was just bad. The other pizza I didn't care for at all. I didn't try the desserts although others did and said they were good. The pizza was enough of an experience for me.

Had such a great dinner at Nerano. The yellowtail crudo was fresh and bright, and the focaccia with whipped ricotta was honestly addictive (I think we ended up ordering 3 of them). Both the mushroom pappardelle and artichoke ravioli were amazing -- rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Beef cheek agnolotti was another favorite with our group. The vibe was classy but comfortable, and the staff was attentive the whole night. Big shoutout to Oliver -- he was fantastic and really made the experience memorable. I'll definitely be back

Food was absolutely amazing. Chef sam came out to describe the dishes for us. Our server was attentive and aware. Thinking of renting out the top floor room for our next corporate event! Parking was also easy!

I found my new Italian restaurant. Didn't think this was possible, given that I'm not an Italian lover. Nerano, you made me an Italian lover. Let's jump right into this review. What we had - 1. Garganelli al Ragú Garganelli 'all'Uovo', Black Angus Beef Ragù 'Bolognese Style', Mutti Tomato, Parmigiano Mantecato - Delicious! 2. Saturday Night Special Lamb Chops (2) 8-9 ozs of meat, baby potatoes, grilled asparagus - Delicious! 3. Dessert Trio Chef's Choice of Three Desserts Served on a Large Silver Platter - we were allowed to choose our 3 desserts, we tried - Nocciolino Guanaja Dark Chocolate Mousse, Crunchy Hazelnut, Gelato Gianduja, Torched Italian Meringue - OMG, it was amazing! The meringue (slightly warm) on top paired well with the chocolate mousse and gelato (chilled). The warm and cold mixture plus the crunchy hazelnut was the WOW factor. Tiramisù Ladyfingers, Espresso Coffee, Mascarpone Crema, Dark Cocoa - I personally didn't try this dessert, but the comment was, it's very good! Gelato del Giorno Daily Selection of Gelato - I don't recall the name of the gelato, but it mirrors chocolate chip ice cream just way better, light, and creamy. Pros 1. Service was personable. From the host/ess, bartender(s), waiters, and management, everyone was nice and engaging. Nerano is more than dinner. It's an enhanced dining experience. **shout out to the staff, bartenders, David & Zander. You two stole the show with your amazing service and conversation. ** 2. Food is delicious! Nerano keeps it simple...amazing flavors and simple ingredients. 3. Intimate dining setting. 4. Full-bar if alcohol is your pleasure. 5. Valet parking is an option. Cons 1. Due to the intimate setting, I highly recommend a reservation on the weekend. Potential wait when you arrive if the restaurant is busy. 2. May have difficulty finding street parking due to the area. 3. Food is delicious, but portion size is small. For me, it's enough. I eat small meals, and I'm strict on portion control, but for some people, maybe you, the portion size may not be filling. I definitely recommend Nerano. You won't be disappointed. It's truly a hidden gem. This is the restaurant that you make plans to visit. Want to visit. Look forward to visiting. Photos are dark, lighting was dim in the restaurant.

I was so excited to try this place because everything looked so good. But I was so disappointed with every dish. The yellowtail appetizer was good, but the crudo trio was way too fishy. The cesar salad wasn't bad, but it was super small - more like a side salad. The gnudi/gnocchi was not good - it was very heavy on the pesto and truffle. It's weird to mix the two flavors and they were both strong. Not a fan. We had a vegan pasta that was decent and simple. The bolognese was also ok. The diavola pizza was terrible. It was floppy and too saucy, and had no salame. They claimed that it was in the sauce. The best part of the night was the chocolate hazelnut dessert. That was delicious. The Panna Cota and the sorbet were just alright. On top of this all, service was terrible. Our server barely paid any attention to us. He failed to write our order down properly. Sad to say I won't be back :/

What an amazing restaurant and delicious menu from the great chef Michele Lisi of various Italian cuisine mostly of Southern influence. I was in heaven! Incredible hidden gem with great romantic ambiance. Wonderful service and great food! We chose indoor dining but there is an incredible outdoor patio in the back if you wish for outdoors. I even saw the amazing Diane Keaton this evening who I absolutely love!

Sublime. It was one of the best chocolate desserts. We came for a late lunch mid week, and it was uncrowded and perfect. Service was excellent. Wonderful wine pairings with the pasta . Fresh made pasta and light sauce options. This is a little off the beaten path in Beverly Hills and not a fabulous view but not bad either. It's cozy inside. I agree reminded me of a cross between California and Europe. It probably would be loud if it was a busy time to be there. It looks like they have space to do outdoor parties and an up stairs private area. I'm dreaming about the chocolate mousse dessert and hope to return Parking offered by valet and meter on street. We parked in the many lots on the high streets of BH then walked. I wish they had a fully plant based option - for vegans. and/or those avoiding dairy. GF VG is always hard at Italian but so appreciated. So a nudge ...

On multiple occasions, Elton has given me poor service and a noticeable attitude. I chose to overlook it at first, but eventually I brought it to management's attention because the treatment was consistent and unacceptable. After that complaint, the situation escalated. When I returned, Elton refused to serve me altogether. He would not look at me, acknowledge me, or take my order. I was left sitting there while being completely ignored. It became so obvious that other guests sitting next to me noticed and were concerned enough to step in and ask him why I wasn't being helped and to tell him to serve me. That should never have to happen. I then asked for the manager I had previously spoken to, Leo, because I wanted to understand what was going on. I still have not received any clear explanation. What's most concerning is that this behavior feels intentional. No employee in hospitality gets to decide who they will or will not serve based on personal feelings. If a staff member's feelings are "hurt" after a complaint, that does not justify refusing service to a guest. That is not professionalism--that is the opposite of hospitality. It was honestly disturbing enough that the people next to me told me directly that it didn't feel right and that I shouldn't come back because it seemed like I wasn't wanted there. That is not okay, especially at an establishment of this caliber. I am actively trying to get in touch with someone at the hotel who can properly address this situation, because this needs to be taken seriously. No guest should ever feel ignored, singled out, or unwelcome in this way.

I emailed the bar to make a reservation since the online system was down, and they emailed back immediately to confirm -- and even said they would surprise my mom with an extra birthday cake! Now all I had to do was wait 3 weeks until her visit so the experience could finally happen. The day arrived and I got my mom to Maybourne Bar with her none the wiser. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was a 1 million out of 10. Every course is unbelievable. This is a caviar tasting in the best way -- all nine courses are topped with generous helpings of delicious N25 caviar. You get sweet, salty, savory, comfort food, upscale dining, everything comes together in the absolute best way. I especially loved the deconstructed deviled egg and the lobster roll, and the ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The chips and dip came with the cutest miniature potato chips (although I'll admit I could have used a few more), and the caviar salmon burger was super flavorful. And, true to their word, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake -- and then surprised us both with complimentary lychee cocktails! The service was impeccable as well. Each person on the waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We loved how descriptive they were of each dish. It was also really nice of them to decide to give us an extra 2-top so we would have room for all of the courses. This is not only an incredible tasting menu, but made even more incredible by the price. 10 courses and a glass of champagne are $85. I was honestly shocked at how much we received for under $100. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. This is a true gem in Beverly Hills. I'm already planning my next visit!

The place is BEAUTIFUL, especially during sunset. Book a table for the terrace for 45 minutes before sunset and you will witness one of the most tranquil sunsets overlooking LA.. The interior is classy and elegant. While you can wear whatever you want, I do recommend dressing up a bit to be a part of the special ambiance. Service was EXCELLENT. The servers including our waiter were attentive and helpful. Sadly, the food was a bit of hit and miss for me. The Frutti De Mare (seafood pasta) was disappointing. While it had beautiful presentation and large prawns, I didn't like the flavor of this dish. I wanted a fresh taste made of fresh aromatics such as tomatoes, basil, garlic, or shallots. The sauce was made of some kind of cream and the flavor was just lacking freshness. The shrimp was overcooked, and tasted previously frozen. This dish missed the mark on flavor and texture. My sister got the pan-seared halibut and that was better. The texture of the fish was good although I didn't particularly like the flavor. The bread service was my favorite part of the meal. The bread was made in-house according to our server and it did have the perfect balance of Japanese milk bread and a sourdough. That was a WINNER! The broccolini while generous in portion was just ok both in texture, flavor and creativity. I expected higher quality in the cooking and more creativity in the flavor profile for this type of restaurant. All in all, the sunset, ambiance and service were worth the visit!

I really gotta respect their dedication to red meat and the holy art of cooking a damn good steak. This place is essentially what I'm looking for in a restaurant. Basically hits on all cylinders and checks off all the critical boxes. I don't want to sound all dramatic and such, but I'm dying to go back and try all the other items I didn't have, as well as check out the bar experience. I spoke to some locals outside before they opened, and they weren't just lovely -- they also painted a pretty picture of what the overall vibe is here. It's clear a lot of people in the Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills area love coming here very frequently. Our server, who I assumed is named Nolan because that's what's shown on the receipt, was very accommodating, kind, and easy to talk to. I think he did a fantastic job dealing with my difficult, picky gf. Haha. I can't say anything was less than stellar. The croquettes in that celery purée stuff were phenomenal. Garlic bread was seasoned and baked to perfection. The bone broth sipper was nourishing af. French fries were perhaps the best I've had in years. Broccolini was fresh, high quality, and complimented the steak very well. I'm bummed we only got to try just the ribeye when it came to the cuts, but my gf did not want to order anything under medium or medium rare that night, so that was a bummer. It's her loss! The panna cotta was the creamiest sweet treat in all of LaLa Land. This is a great place, and it's a top-tier steakhouse. SoCal sometimes lacks places of this caliber that NY, Chicago, and SF / Napa have, but this place is a very close contender to some of the top cream-of-the-crop, steak-centered restaurants in the country. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Unfortunately, our initial table was extremely close to a very loud neighboring party, making conversation difficult. To the restaurant's credit, the staff accommodated our request to move, and the new table significantly improved the experience. The food was excellent. We ordered the Dinner for Two, and every component was well executed and enjoyable. The quality of the beef was evident, and it was clear why MATŪ has built such a strong reputation. The cocktails were also well made. Where the experience began to unravel was the service. Wine service took roughly 20 minutes, dessert was noticeably delayed, and our server seemed to disappear for extended periods throughout the evening. The most frustrating part came at the end of the meal when it took more than 25 minutes to receive the check. When it finally arrived, it was delivered by a manager in a manner that felt dismissive rather than hospitable. To make matters worse, an automatic gratuity had already been added to the bill. While I understand the practice in some situations, it felt particularly disappointing given the level of service we received throughout the evening. MATŪ serves outstanding food, and that is what earns this review more than a few stars. However, hospitality is about more than what comes out of the kitchen. For a restaurant operating at this price point, the service should match the quality of the food. Unfortunately, on this visit, it did not. I left impressed by the meal but disappointed by the overall dining experience, and I'm not sure I would return.
