My friend took me here to game and try their vegan burger. There was a bit of a wait, which is to be expected if you come here, simply because it is a attraction/experience. I opted for the veggie burger with LTOP and it was pretty good. The fries were the best part! I found that the impossible burger was really salty. I also thought for the price it wasn't that amazing, it was like 15 bucks. Comparing the taste and price I think next time I would rather go to McDonald's get their burger(5 bucks also the impossible patty), and just order a bunch of fries and cherry coke next time! I really liked how clean and up kept this restaurant is. Came here on a whim last weekend! It was the 2nd time we've been to Nerdvana and it wont be the last! This place is so fun! When you walk in, you have the option to choose whether you want to play with video games or board games. Both times that we've been here, we've only played with board games. There's a variety of board games to choose from! We picked battleship this time and last time, we did connect4! Basically, easy games to teach a toddler, which made it a fun family game night! As for the food, it was all delicious!! The menu items have very clever throwback names. The food is made to order coming out piping hot! Everything was full of flavor and not what we expected! Was this an amazing time! Of course! The restraunt was super cool and such a fun concept. My boyfriend and I had so much fun. We would do some things differently though. We got a table with an XBox and there was only one solid game that we wanted to play. The other ones were hard to navigate, crashed, or did not include a multiplayer mode. You are stuck with the table you pick so got to be smart about it. Next time we will be going for a nintendo switch! The service was distracted, I ordered wine and it took me 15 minutes to get it the second time around. We were there for a while and only got checked on three times or so, less than what was necessary. We spent a lot this trip but we will probably just pay the 10 dollar minimum per person and get a fountain drink and an appetizer next time. The flatbread was good, so I would probably just stick with that over the other things we tried. I tried both the "fireplace" and regular lavender lattes with oat milk... The fireplace is habanero and caramel and while it's REALLY good, I ultimately couldn't get more than two sips in so I ordered a lavender oat milk latte to replace it... I'm not sure but it looks like they use oak cliff coffee for their espresso beans. They also appear to use the Pacific barista series oat milk and it was soooo good and frothy! I can't figure out how the games work here, but supposedly they have board games to play while you're here on the coffee bar side. The restaurant side has video games while you eat or drink! Trendy, interactive, fun. If you are a video gamer or like board games you should check this place out. We only had to wait a short time before being seated. I will say that one member of our table was perusing the drink menu and the server snatched it out of his hands, I'm assuming to demo to us, but it seemed rude. We also came straight from work and we weren't allowed to bring our water bottles in and while I understand why, most of us came in an Uber, so it wasn't convenient to store them. I've been here twice now, and both times were a blast! This was my first time back with their new look. My boyfriend is, as you may expect, a bit of a nerd. As a surprise after a long week, I took him here for an all-you-can-drink date night. We ordered three adult drinks, two stouts for him and a Diamond Butt Stallion martini for me. The sparkle of the martini is attractive and upon first sip - it's delicious. BUT, the further into this drink you dive the more... nail polish remover-y it becomes. I still finished it but it took me awhile. Our appetizer was awesome, my salad was... okay. We chose to play on a PS4, since we have that system at home and we wanted to try out some games. The system itself come preloaded and ready to roll. We tried to play some of the games that require PlayStation+, but we couldn't really get it to work. Disappointing, but there were four-ish games we could play that we didn't have at home. Upon arrival, we waited a bit to be seated. It seemed that the manager was looking for a hostess and was a bit perturbed. Our waitress was awesome, though. The games are free to play, just have to order $10 food or drink per person. At the host stand you select the game system that you're interested in from what they have available at the time. Once seated they bring you a fresh and clean controller. A chose a SNES table so I could relive a bit of my childhood. The gin and ginger I ordered was perfectly made and delicious. The food menu is varied and pretty good sized. They go have QR code's for you to access the digital menu. The chicken fried pork medallions made my Hoosier heart happy. This place was a fun place to take my granddaughter daughter for a date night. You have a choice to either sit and play video games, Xbox and Sony PS, or board games. Of course my daughter chose video games. We were seated promptly in these tiny booths with a TV attached to the other side. It took forever to get our drink order. The food was great, my daughter had the fried Mac and cheese. I had the burger. It was overcooked and requested another one. I was brought back a less overcooked one but it was edible. My granddaughter and I had no idea how to set any of the game systems up. We asked for help and a kid came over and set it up and explained how to play. We played a few different games. Decide on the next closest place on the list: Nerdvana Spirits. We go inside and it's pretty much empty. (Yes I should have known, but again with a toddler and teenager and plans for the day, not a lot of time to waste). Plus we were all starving! We sit down, hubby starts playing with oldest, they bring us coffee, which was ok. We ordered and we wait a long time. Prices pretty high in my opinion. Again, the place was not packed so I didn't understand the wait. They bring the food and of course they bring the oldest and the husbands plate first and they make us wait a little longer for the toddler's food and mine. At this point toddler is screaming and I'm about to run away lol! They bring the last two plates. It seems they were waiting because it wasn't hot at all. The taste was ok.. IHOP quality I would say. The syrup for the French toast was cold. The French toast seems like it was done a while before they brought it to my table. And the strawberries were made probably the day before and saved in a container. The place is cool inside, unisex bathrooms and available parking. Partner and I chose to sit in the video game section (there's also a board game section), and we had the option to choose between 3 consoles. We picked the Switch, which ended up being free to play with minimum $15 (or $10? I think) purchases for both of us. The atmosphere is amazingly fun, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food that my son and husband had was good. Unfortunately, I had an issue with a lack of compliance with an allergy concern. Luckily, my allergy isn't life threatening, but it is uncomfortable and noncompliance is a huge problem. I made it clear I had an allergy, clearly explained the easiest way to avoid the allergy, the server acknowledged it, stated it wouldn't be an issue and never came back to state that it couldn't be accommodated. Yet after taking a couple bites, it was clear that the allergen was in fact in the food. While we enjoyed the atmosphere and the concept and really do like the restarting overall, they need to work on this safety issue before someone with a life threatening allergy is injured. read more

They don't have regular draft beers (I wanted a dos xx) so we got to sample some that they said would come close to it & we chose the muy importante beer- very good. Their dessert looks really pretty but I would prefer the brownie over anything or even a chocolate milk shake that my husband ordered but I didn't get to get a picture of it. After hearing about this place, I knew I had to check it out! This was a brand new experience for me and my fiancee and we were excited to see Nerdvana was open. We didn't have to wait long at all to be seated at a booth with a Nintendo Switch. With it being a weekend evening and the restaurant operating at partial capacity, we didn't get the choice of gaming system but that didn't matter too much to us so we were happy. We started with the L33T loaded fries, which really hit the spot since we showed up practically starving. Our waiter, Rohail, was very friendly and we loved him. He was energetic and personable, and it felt like coming over to a friend's place to chill. We ordered the Chicken Fried Pork Medallions and the Brick's Chicken. Both were so delicious-- seasoned well and neither proteins were dry or overcooked. Honestly, would come back just for the food even if the video games weren't there. The alcoholic beverages looked really yummy but unfortunately we had to drive so none for us this time, though we're looking forward to coming back and trying some next time. We choose the switch to play with 4 people. We ordered the mac and cheese balls, our daughter loved it! The loaded fries were delicious. Loaded to the rim! We also tried the chicken parmigiana sandwich. It was very filling. Would definitely have it again. We also downloaded the coffee Ripple app and had 2 lattes with 2 different designs. My family had the best time at Nerdvana. They have created the best mix of great food and gaming possible. When we arrived, we were asked to select the gaming system we wanted for our table (PS4, PS5, XBox Series S). We chose the XBox (we have a PS at home). They brought us 4 controllers. The TV is hanging from the ceiling at the end of the table. This creates a slightly awkward angle for your neck, but for the length of the meal it wasn't bad. The game selection was not overly robust, but again for the length of the meal, the kids had plenty of choices. They also have a large selection of board games. We played Yahtzee. The food was excellent. They had something for everyone. From Mac n Cheese balls and burgers to Caprese Crostinis (which were EXCELLENT). They also have a decent selection of adult beverages including local beers. Be aware that this is a family place where games are being played so it can get noisy, but the atmosphere makes it all worth it. Also, there is a $10 minimum for each person at the table, which was no big deal. The food was reasonably priced, but $10 at dinner is easy to hit. We are sad there isn't one near our home. The experience of the restaurant is fun- lots of details went into decor and menu wording. The food is kind of hit or miss. The chicken nuggets were great, the chicken jalapeño salad had hardly any dressing mostly just oil, the kids marinara pasta sauce was very interesting. The sauce tasted like a lot of oregano, like they put too much Italian seasoning in the thin sauce. The desserts are fun and the milkshake is insanely big and fun to share. The videos at the table can't be beat, a fun activity for the group to play together. Our server Lexi was very sweet and made sure everyone was happy at our table even our crazy 2 year old.
