My dad decided to have us eat here for his birthday yesterday. We were served Naan and the waiter suggested we try the Yogurt Shallot with it. My dad got one of the stews alongside a Luleh Kabob, my mom got the Shish Kabob, my brother got the Barg Kabob, and I got the Chicken Kabob with Bone. I was not a big fan of the chicken or the stew, but enjoyed the other pieces of meat that I tried from each of my family member's plates with the Luleh and Shish Kabob ones being my favorites. The rice that came with the dishes was pretty good and the Yogurt Shallot was really tasty with the Naan. I would definitely come back, but order to-go since the vibe inside the restaurant was a bit overwhelming for me. read more

The kabobs, the lamb, bread, rice, vegetables, cucumber salad and feta was all delicious and I definitely recommend for a small party. I ordered the beef soltani platter, the boneless chicken kabob platter, and the salmon kabob platter. The meat was tender and flavorful, the rice was plentiful, and side Shirazi salad was fresh. There is an Armenian saying called Hashva Kokh. Loosely translated to price gouging. I ordered the koobideh, which normally comes with rice. I asked them to substitute the bread instead. So they charged me full price for the koobideh, minus the rice. Plus an extra $3 for the bread which they bring to table anyway when you sit down. I thought it was an error so I asked the waiter and he said no that they charge if you want bread instead of rice. Which doesn't make sense at all. read more

Service is excellent. Ambiance is ok for small place. Fresh baked bread is great. Food used to be great but today it was subpar at best. Kabob koobideh (they call it luleh kabob on their menu) was not very tasty and not was not hot. Koobideh has to be served hot off the grill. The kabob barg was chewy. Yogurt with shallots was made with very low quality yogurt. They also over charged us and when we told them gave us a refund for their mistake. First time this has happened to us at this place but worth mentioning since I noticed other reviewers had said the same thing bout overcharging. We've been to this place many times and always liked their food. First time we had subpar dishes. Next time we will just go to Raffi's if we are in Glendale. Such a shame to see yet one more Persian restaurant go down like this. Our first clue was the lack of customers inside as usually we have to wait for a table but today it was more than half empty. read more

As a restaurant owner myself, I hesitated leaving this review. But after reading the other reviews saying the same thing, I have to join the chorus of people pointing out that the staff here aren't taking Covid precautions. Not one of the staff here was wearing a mask in the hour we were here. If the owners want to risk the thousands of dollars in fines, that's their business, but with the amount of elderly people dining in here (at least during my visit), it becomes a matter of life or death. Covid is still killing people every day. I would not come back, as the staff doesn't seem to care about their customers enough to simply wear a mask during service. (And it's a shame, because the food was delicious.) read more

Ghost e Sabze was kam namak but good. I did ask for half salad half rice that they did not accommodate which could be an issue with U errata as well. Not much ambience, the service was ok. I had high expectations based on what others told me about the place, food is decent. Their beef Koobidah and boneless Chicken Kabob tasted fine, but the Gheimeh stew was watery. They make their own fresh Taftoon Bread. Also have their own private parking lot. read more

Stay away from DIZI, absolute rip off. No quality. No taste, not enough meat , no tomato, wrong beans which are not for DIZI. It does not have right items that DIZI should have. Just the name and absolute rip off. Do not get deceive by the picture of DIZI. They do not ask and let you smash your own DIZI, they bring smashed one without asking with lots of trash in it. I had two guest from Iran, I paid $130 for 3 DIZIs and paid $40 cash for tip. then that old gentleman asking us to leave because people are waiting outside, there was no one waiting outside.
