We stumbled across this eatery while cruising around by the marinas. Parking was easy to find and quick to get a table; two people in our party was less than a 20 minute wait. The interior is classic boat house and marina decor and vibes. They have patio seating, but we sat inside and could still see the water from the window. I ordered the Breakfast Burger with a side of clam chowder, my husband ordered the PB&J waffle with sausage links, and we both ordered a Buffalo Milk to drink. Great food with unique flavors! My breakfast burger wasn't your average breakfast sandwich, it was stacked and I had to eat it with a fork and knife so I could get a bite of everything; the bread, the meat, the egg, and with the subtle sweetness of the jam inside, yum! My husband really enjoyed the waffle plate and said the PB used it really light and fluffy, like it has been whipped. Luckily I got a taste of his and I agree, so good! Sorry, no photos. It started to rain and we were seated outside. We showed up for a Saturday brunch and were seated in a reasonable time frame (it can be super busy!). We ordered a cinnamon roll to split, some lattes, and a hot chocolate to kick us off. We followed with a meat ménage, a hot chicken sandwich, and the pancake. All of the food was very good, although the ham steak was pretty salty (enough that I couldn't finish it). As the food arrived the sky opened up and we huddled under the umbrella at the table. To be clear, the outside is well heated and there are plenty of umbrellas. Our eating experience was not impacted by some minor water falling from the sky. There was a couple of spots in the nearby parking lot or street parking. It can get a bit busy on the weekends. You can expect a 30 minute wait, so I would recommend going and putting a name down then walking around the docks. Unfortunately, there is no reservation or yelp waitlist. There are options for indoor and outdoor seating. Service: Once seated, the service was very quick. The food can take a little bit longer to get served but very worth the wait. Passed by this morning for breakfast with my dad and my husband. Our waitress Amanda was really nice and friendly. Got the o.g. cinnamon rolls and a mug of hot chocolate, my dad got the hot honey chicken sandwich with avocado on the side, and my husband got the rio grande scramble. We all loved our food and enjoyed our view of the water. This is my go-to breakfast place whenever we have visitors from out of town and want to give them a glimpse of what Gig Harbor has to offer. read more

This is a great gem for folks who live in Tacoma, and want to visit Gig Harbor for the day. Be warned there may be a wait but it's worth it. Service: Outstanding, I cannot remember our server's name but his recommendations were outstanding. I asked what was his favorite dish on the menu, and he was genuinely passionate about the Banh Mi, loved his passion lol! And his enthusiasm and respect made this such a lovely experience. Ambiance: I can't speak for what it was like indoors because we chose to sit outside (it was covered and plenty warm, they also provide blankets for your lap in case it becomes chilly. It was a lovely day to sit outside look across the water. Food: the Banh Mi was punched with flavor, a little different than your traditional Vietnamese Banh Mi's bit quite delicious. As you can see there's a generous amount of toppings and meat. The only thing that was lacking a little was the bread, it was a bit chewy as you get to the bottom but the flavors and quality made up for it. Ok, the house salad was incredible! Chunks of Beecher's cheese (I think) and feta really brought the salad together. Love the dressing and the addition of the garbanzo beans. Netshed No.9 is in a charming renovated historic netshed.  There is a very small indoor dining area, but the real gem is the outdoor patio space with an amazing view of the harbor.  Even on the chilly days they have fire pits to sit by and blankets to wrap you up with while nested under a protective enclosure to keep you out of the wind.  There is a parking lot as well, so don't feel you have to park on the street.  Plus it's dog friendly should you have Fido with you. The staff was very attentive and helpful with selections ensuring I had everything I needed and making sure I was enjoying my meal.  The menu was creative and enticingly written making it hard to select what I wanted, but I ended up opting for a cup of the 'delicious de jour clam chowder' and 'the Passion of the Hash'.  As a woman who's lived on the East Coast for many years, I have to say I really enjoyed the chowder!  It was warm and creamy with the perfect small chunks of potato, ample chopped clams and the rustic croutons made this dish for me.  It elevated it and put those little oyster crackers to shame.  I wish I had ordered a bowl instead!  The Passion of the Hash didn't hit the same marks for me.  I think my East Coast mother in law would have loved it since it was rather boring flavor wise.  But adding the house made hot sauce (Hell Yeah) and some salt brought it up to a more flavorful experience.  I was expecting more pork, peppers, and jalapenos - but it was potato heavy for sure.  But they were cooked very well - soft, but held their shape and texture. And the sunny side eggs were perfect!  Portions size was also ample! This is a pretty cool spot that I had no idea existed. The wait time wasn't bad and I love that they utilize the space on the outside deck with covered and heated seating. They definitely are busy, which makes sense because they have good food. Parking is a little difficult, but being in downtown you can usually find a spot. We had the Chilaquiles and my husband loved it. The staff was friendly and trained, which I greatly appreciate. I love it when companies hire younger ones and train them the right way . This place gets packed and there may be a wait depending on time and day you go! We went on a weekend for brunch and waited about 30min. The girl at the front was able to write our name and number and sent out a text when our table was ready. The inside area is pretty small and cozy, with a larger area on the outside deck, which is where we sat. Service time was pretty standard, it wasn't fast but it also wasn't super slow- all the waiters checked in on us even though they weren't the ones serving our table, so I definitely appreciated that. They were also super helpful with choosing what type of food to get and overall just being super friendly. Food portions were pretty big here, I had gotten the Mediterranean sandwich, I believe it's called the Pantheon-?- and I could barely make it halfway. My husband and I went here for a breakfast date and it did not disappoint. The pancake was HUGE. And absolutely delicious. We also tried the eggs and biscuits and gravy and the coffee was very good too. I loved how intimate it felt, and was happy to see I made the right choice by sitting inside when it started misting outside. When that happened, quite a few staff went outside and offered to move the guests to covered areas and tables away from the misty weather (mind you it was blue skies and white fluffy clouds outside when most were seated). I am very much looking forward to returning, kids in tow. Oh, and watch out for the hot sauce. Thankfully my husband and I are fans of spice, but we underestimated the heat level! read more

This is a toughy. Been here twice. First visit food was great, second visit it was OK. Service was very nice both times, but good/bad service does not factor into my reviews. We got "chilaquiles" and I think some kind of hash (can't remember the name). The hash was fine, and it was as expected to be for a place this highly rated. I'm sorry, but the chilaquiles absolutely were not chilaquiles. It was literally a plate of densely piled nachos. They were dense and mushy because there were way too many toppings. I'm from southern California, I speak spanish, I have been to Mexico about a dozen times--100% these aren't chilaquiles, nor were they very good. Sorry guys. You can do better. People seemed to like the other food. We'll probably come back at some point. Steer clear of the chilaquiles though. read more

I honestly do not understand the good reviews because 4 stars is definitely not what this restaurant deserves. The only thing stopping me from giving this place 1 star is the customer service. Service was quite friendly and accommodating to our large group. Now for the food.... I ordered the chilaquiles and the others at my table ordered the chicken and waffles and the hash dishes. We were quite excited to try the food after seeing the good reviews but the food did not live up to its expectations. Cinnamon rolls: They tasted fine. I think I got the better part of the rolls, meaning one that wasn't as hard, but the others said that it was on the drier side and not that great. Chilaquiles: the tortilla chips weren't crispy, the chorizo was kind of just stuck together in large chunks, and the guac was on the bland side. Overall just not very flavorful. Chicken and waffles: Not actually made with fried chicken! It was baked, which is kind of a disappointment considering most chicken and waffles are made with fried chicken. The waffles weren't great either, tasted like standard boxed waffles and were also burnt on the edges. Hash dish: I didn't try this dish but my friend said that it did not taste good at all. He claimed that the only redeemable parts of this dish were the tomatoes and eggs. This place fell so flat from our expectations and as much as I want to say that it's because we didn't get the good dishes...I think as a group of 12 people getting a variety of dishes, it's safe to say that the consensus that was food wasn't great is validated. I'll be sure to find a different restaurant next time we're visiting Gig Harbor. read more

Inside dining is pretty cramped so I got stuck in between a large group and a party of four. It was only me but it was okay. Only a four star because, although I thought the amount was worth the price, I wish they would've used a different bread.
