Visiting a friend's church in the area, we decided to get dinner here afterwards because they're the new "regulars" here. We got Calamari to start [[which was incredible, I could go for some right now]]. And then we got two pies - one was Margherita and the other was half arugula, half white. Took the family out for dinner. I wanted authentic Italian bc why else...im in jersey, plus I haven't had it since I was in Italy so... When you first walk in it doesn't look like much, but I know better than to judge by this bc I have found holes in the wall smaller and they had the best food I have ever eaten in my life! SO... The food here was great! The service was great, our waitress was super friendly. We started with mussels marinara, it's not on the menu, but the waitress said it was no problem and I'm glad bc they were DELISH! Also some mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. Their marinara sauce is so good! I ordered the shrimp ravioli, it was SUPERB! I said I wanted to lick the plate bc the sauce was SO GOOD!!! and the waitress heard me lol sorry not sorry My girls dad ordered the linguini with clam sauce and really enjoyed it. My girls little brother had the meatball sub and he said it was good. It had the marinara sauce so I know what's up... My girls sister ordered the stuffed shells and she enjoyed them. I say again, MARINARA! My girl had the Chicken Francese and it was fantastic! I made her give me several bites ha I highly recommend that you eat here! The food was some what good however, I think it was pricey!!! and not sure why you would serve pasta with marinara sauce as a side with chicken franchise. Food is good but nothing special. I like that they serve dinner entrees with a side salad as most Red Bank pizzerias don't. A bit overpriced but I'll get over that. The reason I gave 3 stars is due to the fact that the people who answer the phone to take orders are very short with you, rush you off the phone and come across very rude and kinda condescending. We celebrated the family Fall birthdays last night, and I ordered penne vodka, sausage and peppers and chicken franciase ... with a side of garlic knots of course, for a party of 20. Was there about 2 weeks ago. Was given a hard time with a coupon. Ordered a pizza...it was like they threw a side salad onto a pizza shell.

Food was great. Staff was horrendous. Incredibly rude, and slow. Was ignored the WHOLE time. No drink refills, AND we saw our dish sit at the server station for 10 minutes before it was brought to our table, while everybody else around was getting served. I have been going here for 25 years and the pizza has always been good and I would go a step further to say it has gotten even better over the years! I order from these guys every couple of weeks. The grandma pizza, classic cheese, and margarita pizza are wonderful. Delivery is hit or miss with the estimates. Sometimes, an hour means 20 minutes, and sometimes an hour and 45 minutes.... But, I understand things happen. And they make some great pies.... read more

Red Bank inflates the prices of this pizza a bit. It is classic, NYC style New Jersey Pizza (whatever, I find that an accurate description) in my world it is "normal" pizza. It's good, pretty standard for NJ. The location is a decent size, though. read more

My favorite dine in dine out pizza! The grandma pie is a huge hit in my household in fact it goes almost the second it touches the counter. I also am a huge fan of their Sicilian. This is a great family restaurant serving Red Bank for decades. Their pizza is consistently great but where they shine the most (in my opinion) Is their fresh seafood dishes. They are prepared the classic Italian way and they are delicious. Their prices are good and would absolutely recommend trying out this place. read more

We used to frequent New Corner several times a week but their quality in food has been on the decline. They are quite expensive for the type of restaurant they are but there food no longer justifies their prices. Waitstaff is friendly and we love to dine outside when it's nice out. Owners are not friendly which makes the experience uncomfortable when they are there. Parking is terrible. We will continue to dine there once or twice a month, if that. read more

Decided to take a trip down memory lane and get some Sicilian pizza from New Corner. I remember back in the 90's it was the best thing around, light airy crust, marinara and cheese to die for. Don't know what happened but whatever they use for dough now is horrible! It's dense and tasteless. I was trying to figure out if they were repurposing regular pizza dough or bread dough but it did not taste like any of those. It was inedible as-is and I had to slice it in half and discard the bottom portion of the crust. This is only the second bad experience I've had there, but both times were pretty bad. For a place that pretty much ruled Red Bank with their food, they can't compare to what other business are doing now. Whatever they are changing they need to STOP and go back to their original recipes and food. read more

I was trying to get exact change for the Cashier and I briefly put my bag on the ground to get my shit together since there was no other platform to put my bag on and the older man behind the counter heckled me for blocking the kitchen (because of me trying to get change out of my bag) and then once I was actually paying he CAME BACK and started telling me the thing. Went here with my mom while in red bank. She got some sort of salad pizza which was amazingly good. I got a chicken wrap which took a while to come out. Apparently they made the wrong wrap and had to remake mine. While I was upset about the wait, the chicken was hot off the grill and the wrap was delicious. So it was worth the wait! Way over priced compared to the other restaurants you can get in the area. We ordered calamari and wings for an appetizer and we were hesitant on even tasting what they put in front of us on the table. The calamari did not look right and when we tasted it everyone had the same reaction (it was not a good one). The calamari tasted like rubber and had no texture at all. We had to say something because to be quite honest I'd be embarrassed to serve that as an owner. The wings tasted like something you'd get out of a frozen bag in a grocery store but the worst grade you can possibly get. Next up We decided to order pizza.. let me tell you all something, this was probably by far the worst of it all. The sausage pepper and onion pie was like soup. It had undercooked dough and fell apart as you tried to take a slice. Next was the BBQ chicken pizza which was more of a sweeter tasting buffalo sauce that had no flavor what so ever. The plain pizza was the last resort (a group of 7 so we ordered 3 pies thinking we could take some home for lunch) and that tasted like cardboard. The sauce was god awful.. and after telling the waitress about our issues they all were looking at us and you could tell they were talking about us. Mind you there were only 2 other groups in the pizzeria. I'm very disappointed in the way they run their business and do not care for their paying customers. The owner himself was speaking badly of us out loud and that's not only disrespectful but it's an embarrassment. I confronted him about it because he was discussing this loudly and he just ignored me and walked away. He just shook his head as if he was doing the right thing. What a shame, this was a poorly run business. I highly suggest going to the Trattoria or Pazzo. Stay away from this place. read more

Here is an update on my review from 2014. New Corner still never stops producing delicious food. My favorite is still the salad pizza with fresh ingredients and jam packed with flavor. Angela and John experiment with different types of pizza and toppings every day. They recently did a huge catering job for Riverview and I was there to taste it. Everyone was raving how great it was. Best Pizza in town. Just a block off the "center of town" on front street. Worth the walk over! Grandma's pie is my favorite. It's like a thin Sicilian but great olive oil and fresh mozzarella and a crispy thin crust. The owner John and Angela are always there working their butts off.
