Cute bar where locals hang out
    Mark B.

This is a great spot for a great pizza with a wonderful price and outstanding service. Very casual yet delicious. The wood fire oven with the amazing crust is a beautiful harmony. The owner is very sweet. I've been coming here since I was very young and the pizza is still delicious . Love the way they've grown too. Super cute New York vibes with you being to order by the slice or a whole custom pie. Love the way you can order via phone as well and come in and pick it up. Their tiramisu is my families favorite. Really love this spot. 10/10 great for family night. They also have TV's with sports on them.

The margarita pizza was fantastic! One of the best tasting cheeses I've ever had on a pizza!

This is my new favorite pizza spot! The Margarita pizza was absolutely delicious!! I can't wait to come back and try all their pastas next. The ambiance was really nice, the music was great and the staff were all so friendly.

Chicken parm lunch special for around

Nice looking place, surprisingly classy with a nicely stocked bar/wine area. Very clean interior and friendly service. I was a bit confused where to go at first because I missed the seat yourself sign. So I ended up ordering and paying at the counter first. I got the chicken parm lunch special for around $14. The chicken was thin but not too thin, breaded well so that when you cut off a bite, the breading doesn't fall off. It cuts easily with a fork and is juicy and delicious. It came with a side of angel hair pasta and a nice roll and some token veggies that included some tasty potatoes. The marinara was plentiful and didn't overpower. The angel hair melted in my mouth. This was a big plate for a lunch special but I ate every bite! While I was eating, neighboring tables received a beautiful Stromboli and a gigantic pizza. It all looked great. Really nice place to relax into a slow lunch! I'll be back to try more menu items when I can. Very nice experience today!

We dined in on a Thursday night but for sure the Veggie pizza "loaded with veggies" delivered! Fresh ingredients and the crust so fresh you can taste to yeast rising... Would highly recommend this place. I also got a Sangria Rose and service was so on point. Good dark vibe and family friendly at $15 for a small pizza.

A cute pizza place . Followed the great reviews and decided to give this place a try and I was not disappointed! I started w the fried zucchini which was a large portion of very freshly fried zucchini . A great appetisers. 4/5 I then ordered the veg calzone which was large and yummy . I am not a big fan of ricotta cheese but overall the filling was yummy . 4/5 All together a really nice place which I will come back if I am in the neighbourhood again

We finally dropped by this place. We had ordered Pizza To Go here in the past but we wanted to eat here in person. It is tucked away in strip mall but very nice when you enter. It has the feel of a small locally owned restaurant We started with The Fried Zucchini that came with Ranch and Marinara. It was perfectly fried. I am a fan of Wedge Salads so I had to try theirs. It was one of the best Wedge Salads I have had had in some time. For entrees, we had the Penne Arabiata. I asked for it extra spicy and they kicked it up a notch. My wife had the Shrimp and Mussels (Pasta Fra Diavlo). It was delicious. We also could not leave with out trying a slice of their Pizza Supreme. It was tasty on it's own merits. We finished with dessert including their Tiramisu and Spumoni Ice Cream. All of it was great. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. This is a hidden gem in Valley Ranch. We will come again.

me and my girlfriend stopped here while in the area she ordered a single supreme slice and a pepperoni slice for a quick bite its pretty good! Great Service! The bartender was very nice! & The man running the register was very helpful. Great pizza! Ive eaten a ton of pizza in my life and this joint hits home :) Reminds me of my favorite spots back in houston. 9/10 Great job yall! Im sure if i get a fresh whole pizza itd be a 10. Next time ;) The style of the restaurant is subtle and quiet. Pizza parlor feel. Noticed the staff keeping the place clean and in order as well. Great job folks! We started with the focaccia bread (5/5). Wow--this might be some of the best bread I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the dip was delicious. I usually try not to fill up on bread before the entrées arrive, but we made sure to finish every bite. We also ordered the burrata salad (5/5), which was a very generous portion and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. For our entrées, my friend and I shared the chicken piccata and the bolognese. The chicken piccata was a 5/5 for me, while the bolognese was a 4.5/5. Both dishes were excellent and I'd happily order either again. This visit was a completely different experience from my first one, and I'm glad I came back. I've never had anything that wasn't perfectly prepared, flavorful, and served the correct temperature. And that's what really matters in a restaurant, of course. But the vibe is odd. I can't put my finger on it. It's "clique-y". Every time I come, I walk into an empty restaurant with no host. And it seems I've walked in before they opened. They have lots of private events which are walled off with weird partitions. And they sometimes (according to others I overheard) completely close down for private parties. I don't ask for much. I require very little attention. I grossly over tip. And, yet still I feel very unwelcome in this restaurant that I have frequented several times. I don't get it. The other customers were very nice to me, but the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. It's bizarre. Anyway, the food alone earns them a top rating. Pro tip: Do NOT sit at the bar. They don't tell you this: but it's for the regulars. You'll feel like you've wandered into a party you weren't invited to. AND.....order the Prince Edward Island mussels!

What surprised us, however, was being charged $2 for a small cup of hot water with lemon. We were never informed that there would be a charge, nor was it mentioned when we requested it. In all our years of dining at restaurants, both locally and internationally--this is the first time we've ever been charged for hot water with lemon. We were also charged for an extra serving of rolls. Initially, I requested a roll without garlic, but the server explained that the rolls were already prepared with garlic butter, so we agreed to have them served. That was perfectly fine since my husband and son ate them. Later, after we had finished our pasta, the server offered another serving of rolls, he mentioned he has non garlic butter on them. We politely declined, but he said they were already prepared and would serve them anyway. Because of that, we assumed they were complimentary. We only realized when we received the bill that we had been charged for the additional rolls. While we still enjoyed the food, we believe these charges should have been clearly communicated beforehand so customers can make informed decisions and avoid unexpected surprises on the bill. I will remember this if I wanted another puttanesca next time :( From my previous 4 stars, I'll put it down to 3 because of those unacceptable charges

Now, I want to clarify my comment... because this time warp was a really great thing! The decor was true 80's. The music was also from the 70s/80s. Heck, the people working there might have been working there since the 80s too. It just had a consistent 80s feel. And it was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time! My husband and I walked in 15 minutes before the restraint closed, and we were met with a smile from the greeter. No one rushed us, no one complained that we were coming in at the end of their shift. Instead, everyone treated us as if we were the first customers of the day. I enjoyed my meal and tipped the price of the meal because of the outstanding service we received. Now for the food. I had a simple grilled chicken sandwich. Nothing fancy. And yet it was delicious! My chicken was tasty, tender, and cooked perfectly. I honestly enjoyed every bite. And if everything wasn't already amazing in the restaurant (the nostalgic feel, great service, and great food) I noticed their prices were very reasonable. In a day and time when everything feels over priced, a hard working family can walk into Angelo's and afford a great meal. Thank you Angelo's for staying true to who you are - because it works.
