We have called Nexus Plumbing 3 or 4 times in the last 20 years and the work has always been excellent. Anthony is polite, professional and honest. The first time we called him we were having terrible issues where our pipes were banging hard enough to shake the walls. He gave us an estimate but when he did the work he said it didn't cost as much as he'd estimated and he charged us less. He has also referred us to another business when he wasn't able to do the work. Once we had a leak in a pipe way up in our roof. It was leaking into the house in a different place than where the water was showing up. We'd already had 2 people come in and not find the leak. I called Nexus Plumbing to fix a broken in-sink Erator, a leaking toilet, a rusted drain, and a broken drain. Anothony fixed everything and even suggested me some of the problems he sees. First I would like to say this is a delayed review I've used Nexus 2 times. The first time was after another plumber, which I will not name, did a bad install on 80ft of drain. Nexus came and inspected 6 months later after having issues again and was straightforward and found a bow in the line that was just laid and resolved the issue. Nexus did a great job with our plumbing needs the first time. However, the second time I called, left a message, and submitted a request online without hearing back. I eventually got an email that said they're completely booked for 2 weeks. Not sure if that's true or if they just didn't see the job big enough to consider, but it would've been nice if they returned my email/call right away to let me know so that I can call other plumbers. read more

We had Anthony of Nexxus Plumbing come out years ago and he did a good job. Since then, we have called him a number of times for other jobs and he never returns our calls or requests on his website. Our guess is that he no longer needs the business since he can't even have someone respect us by giving a call back. Update: Rachel from Nexxus Plumbing responded through Yelp and says that there are web portal issues that they are working through. She offered to have Anthony come out on Sunday, however we have engaged another plumber after we didn't receive a response back from Anthony. While I appreciate their concern about my review, it is difficult to recommend someone who doesn't respond to calls made to their published phone number; we called by phone and put in a request online in April and again in June to make appointments and never received responses both times while we waited over a week to hear back. I wish them the best in the future, and my purpose in posting here is to make them aware of this quality service issue. I believe that they truly need to work through this problem or face losing more customers. read more

Wow! We had an amazing experience with Nexus Plumbing. My husband and I actually had a different plumber scheduled for a Sunday morning, who turned out to be a no-show. My husband called Nexus plumbing to have a water line installed -- we had just moved in to our new home and had our new fridge delivered, only to discover that our kitchen was not set up with a water line to the fridge area for water and ice to come out of the door. Anthony is great. We have used Nexus a couple times. This last time he installed a regulator on our sprinkler line to reduce pressure. Right after the install we had some issues with the sprinklers. I've used Anthony a couple more times since our initial job in Aug 2013. Still a 5-star experience. Nexus Plumbing schedules an actual start time rather than one of those "8-12" windows. He always calls ahead to let us know if he'll be late at all. Most recently we had Anthony replace a bunch of angle stops and old copper hoses with new flex hose. No mess, no fuss, very professional, and the prices seem fair for the service you receive. As I've said before, they are B-U-S-Y and it seems Anthony is the only one working the jobs and Rachel is the only one working the logistics, so you may not always get an immediate response via phone/email. If your job doesn't require a quick turnaround, definitely use Nexus. read more

We are a commercial account and from time to time have need for large diameter air and water lines and over the course of several years have tried to get help from other plumbers - that has not worked well for us. Anthony was really great. We had 2 small bathroom projects that needed repiping and pipe relocation. Anthony came in, wrote an estimate right on the spot, which was very competitive. He came in on time at the start of the first day, and after discovering pipe corrosion issues, he made tremendous efforts to repair it (dug 3 ft into the ground instead of 1 ft to remove bad pipes). This caused a delay in the project but he stuck with his estimate. He installed 2 bathtubs the right way by pouring thinset under the tub (so the tub has minimum flex and will last a long time). One of my tub was weird setup that he had never tried before, but he got it working without issues although it was a lot of headache for him. For all the issues, he wanted only slight increase from his original bid, and only for the additional work that was not included in the original estimate. I had a bunch of plumbers come in for estimates, and it probably scared them away as no one wanted to provide an estimate. But Nexus Plumbing was there to rescue. Very skilled and professional, I recommend Nexus Plumbing to anyone / any business. read more
