It has been awhile since I've been here but I was in the area so I decided to stop by. We were immediately greeted with smiles and seated promptly. Our server, Heather, was fantastic! She was friendly, efficient, and kind. We mentioned the jumbo eclairs and she said there were only two left and she put them in a box and saved them for us to take home! My turkey melt was so delicious and it was huge! I could only eat half of it. The gyro was tasty as well. My onion rings were awesome and so were the tater tots. Everyone at this restaurant including the clientele is kind. Everyone is smiling and happy to be enjoying good food and good service with good friends/family. Do t leave without purchasing one of their ginormous chocolate chip cookies for $3. It's always a nice treat but my heart now belongs to the eclairs. Yummy! Do yourself a favor and stop by here.

We have been coming to Nick's for years. It is a cozy and clean restaurant that gives you a true diner experience. The menu has a lot of options and you can definitely find something for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their lemon chicken soup is truly homemade and it is one of the best ones I have tried. Food is made to order, fresh, flavorful, tasty and consistent. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with Fries, Buffalo chicken Tenders with Fries, Ceasar Salad with Grilled Chicken and the Chicken Gyro with Potato Salad (sweet and no onions). Definitely a good choice and good food for our local area.

If you want down home cooking, get your fix at Nick's! My first time trying to shrimp and grits it was delicious and very seasoned. The inside décor always reminds me old fashioned diner vibes. Customer service is always welcoming and eager to serve. Come early it gets pretty busy!

I think we found our new favorite diner experience. The service, food, and immediate seating was perfect on our first visit this past week.

Amazing! Super delicious food at very reasonable prices and the portions are very generous. Service is excellent and there is free parking. Save yourself 3% and pay cash. If you're in the Orlando area I highly recommend this gem of a diner!

Our first time. We came because of the rave reviews. We enjoyed our breakfast on all fronts--the choices, the prices, the friendliness of the servers, the quality of the food, served hot. It was a great experience. And the turkey sausage Pattie's tasted just like pork! Come hungry--the omelette are made using 4 eggs. If you want to share, there's a $2 sharing fee. Also, they charge extra if you use a card. Cash is the way to go for the best value.

Friendly staff, and inexpensive good food, however we waited 40 minutes for our meal. I understand that they were busy but they continued to seat people while the kitchen was really backed up. I would definitely give them another shot, probably just come during the week instead of the weekend. Not sure if that makes a difference, but it's worth a shot since everything else was great. Super cute Valentine's Day quarry inside as well!

After church on Sunday we decided to go to brunch and the wait wasn't bad at all maybe 20min tops. Nevertheless the staff was nice and the ambience was the feeling of a old country restaurant that served good food as if your grandma made it.

5 stars for a quick delicious diner-style breakfast. We were sat right away on Saturday morning and asked what we'd like to drink. We got some coffee and water. Nothing super special, but the coffee did the job. We ordered the Croissant Sandwich Special and Corned Beef Benedict. It came out SUPER fast. Like less than 10 minutes after we had ordered. The croissant sandwich was huge. It was basically two croissants loaded with egg, cheese and sausage. It also came with your choice if hash browns, home fries or grits. It was delicious. My husband also really enjoyed his Benedict and wasn't able to finish it because it was so much to eat. Next time we will probably just get the croissant to share and add an order of hash browns. When you order, just make sure your eyes aren't bigger than your stomach! The staff was also friendly and you could tell that they love their regulars. We love breakfast food so will be back!

Even though there's a short wait to get in that is only because they are keeping the patrons socially distant and that's a good thing. They even give you a buzzer that you can take out to your car while you wait to be called. The service (Jackie!!) was top knotch, quick, friendly and professional. Food was very good and came out at a nice pace. Give them a try.

I'm so grateful I found this hidden gem. At first sight, I normally would not have eaten here but it came Highly recommended by a friend. Everything was amazing. It give you a very old diner energy but the service, food and ppl are really amazing.

On my first visit, I ordered the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes with link sausages and a glass of orange juice. The pancakes were delicious, the sausages hit the spot, and the orange juice was... well, you know... orange juice. It did its job! The atmosphere reminded me of a classic country diner--cozy, welcoming, and filled with an older crowd, which I honestly prefer. One thing I really appreciated was being able to seat myself. That's always a plus in my book. Sometimes being escorted to a table means ending up in that one awkward corner nobody wants... but I digress. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily come back. My significant other, however, wasn't nearly as impressed. Oh well--you win some, you lose some! Sometimes breakfast is just a pancake split decision.

Fun fact, diners were started in New England region of America in the 1850s. All this to say, I love a good diner. I mean the American diner has always been there for middle America. The closest one to me and honestly it's definitely hidden away is the Maitland Breakfast Club. It's pretty much situated on the boundary line of where the City of Altamonte Springs starts. They have large space that's casual and what you would expect for a diner. Anyone can walk in wearing their Sunday best to pajamas. The waitresses are very welcoming and exactly the kind of person I would expect to invite me into a diner. We had gone on a Saturday afternoon and they're not a diner that's open late, so more of a breakfast diner really. Now I got the eggs Benedict with bacon and hash browns. For me, there are three breakfast staples I believe all amazing must revisit breakfast places should have. A good cup of warm regular coffee, eggs Benedict, and good crispy hash browns. I mean some places have other things like lattes and hash brown bowls, and I'm not saying those aren't good. However, when you nail the basics, you can do anything else. The hollandaise sauce was great and didn't split and bacon was crispy. The hash browns were super crispy, which I loved, and I could tell it had been made on a flat top grill, which is another very classic American restaurant kitchen appliance. The cup of coffee was good, I mean they had the sugar packets and the creamers right there. Overall, I would rate it a 9/10 and it set us back about $15 for just my portion. I will be back (said menacingly), Maitland Breakfast Club.
