Personally I like this place way better than Brothers Pizza in Belmont. When it comes to Italian subs they have it right. They have the typical cold cuts and the "hots" pepper relish. This is a decent, local roast beef/pizza spot. I've never eaten anything from here that set it apart from every other roast beef/pizza place in every other New England town. It's a good place for a greasy bite if you're in the area. Unfortunately it isn't open late. I tried going there on a Friday night around 10:00 and they were closing down. Ridiculous, I went here late last night and they gave me some B.S hamburger meat that tasted horrible, I went alone and was hoping for a nice well cooked meal late at night but no, all I got was a cheeseburger sub that I had to put together myself since the people behind the counter obviously don't take pride in what they make. I'm in disgust, just poor service. Yes it was an hour before closing time, but that shouldn't matter, the way they served my food was like they were tossing trash in the back dumpster, just selfish. I ordered a roast beef sandwich. they gave me a fish fillet. Since it was a pickup order and i didnt realize the mistake until i got back to my office, i was stuck. Junior roast beef with lettuce, tomato, mayo and sauce is the best roast beef sandwich around. Their B.L.T sub is another favorite of mine as well as their kabob salads (outstanding with balsamic dressing). These menu items are worth the visit. read more

Went in today for a steak tip salad & cheese burger. Salad is 95% brown lettuce and 3 very small steak tips. NOT A GOOD DEAL! Also I can't begin to describe the burger. I have shoes that would be more tender & juicy. Must have been cooked for a week, tomatoes were a pink color not found in nature and lettuce was browner and more wilted than what was in the salad. I order from there a couple times a month, I work and a local company at night where I can't leave to get food so it's always delivery. Last night I ordered around 9:00 and was told it would be here in 35 mins. Come 9:50 still no food and when I try to call there closed. I call back today and the manager there tell's me oh no you said pick up & when I asked about them not answering last night she say's oh we closed early at 9:30. Wow how could I over look writing about nicks, I eat here whenever I forget to go food shopping and whenever I plow the wonderful streets of belmont. The calzones here are out of this world, a small calzone is easily three meals, try the chicken kabob calzone. This is my go-to delivery place in Belmont and they're always super friendly and prompt. Menu is pretty affordable and has a nice variety of things. The large steak and cheese calzone was straight up the size of a large pizza and took a few of us to finish. You have the option to get small and large sizes on appetizers which is always a win if you're ordering for more than just yourself. Fries are eh but everything else I've ordered was very good especially considering the price. Large cheese pizza for $9 and you get a free large cheese with orders over $40! Ordered 1 Lrg. Cheese Pizza, 1 Lrg. Pepperoni, an order of chicken fingers and fries to be delivered. It was $40.00 and took 50 minutes to receive our order. The pizza was over cooked and cold and the fingers and French fries were soggy and floppy. Never again!! read more

Try their lasagna (they did not give me the recipe), and take a baklava to go and try it at home with vanilla ice cream. Prices and portions are great. I also like the fish dinner. The only think is that the garlic on the pizza's is not pre-roasted so the smell is very strong. read more

The standard pizza/sub/burger joint. Pizza by the slice is consistently good, and the subs are amazing. The fries are generally soggy, especially when ordering delivery, although you do get a lot. Mmm..Nick's Place. We've lived in Belmont almost a year and did a lot of exploring to find our favorite pizza around. I can finally say that Nick's wins! I haven't had too much off the menu--just boneless wings and lots and lots of pizza, but both were spectacular. It's a bit more expensive than the pizza joint literally 20 feet away from us, but we still always choose Nick's when we're craving pizza. It's thin crust (like I want), but still topped with enough sauce and cheese to make it hearty (like my boyfriend wants). We usually just get a plain cheese pizza, which is delicious--I always think the true measure of a pizza place is there cheese pizza, as there are no toppings to dilute the taste. They deliver too, and are always pretty prompt. They can be quite busy, which I suppose is a good thing since that means that lots of other people like them too. Sure, Nick's isn't the kind of place you will drive 100 miles to visit, but if you live in the area (especially within their delivery zone), you shouldn't bother getting pizza from anywhere else. read more

Very good food. Same food as nicks place 1 in Lexington. Sometimes gets my order wrong and is more appealing than other pizzerias.

The food isn't bad, but our order has been wrong too many times for it to matter.

I would give it 3 and a half stars if that were an option because it perfectly falls in between a 3 and 4 star pizza place. I will continue going here because it's fast, reasonably priced, and pretty good. There are a lot of good menu options but I've mainly just gone for the pizza. The staff is nice and I've never been disappointed with my orders. That being said, it's nothing special and is pretty much your typical quick pizza place. read more

This is my regular pizza place. Although it has at times been inconsistent, the pizza is usually great. And the employees are a lot more polite than the place around the corner. Absolutely horrible. I ordered the Steak Tip dinner for lunch today. The price on the menu is $13.90, and the lady charged me an additional $2.80. The price was updated on the board, but no one mentioned anything when we called in the order. She claimed that the menu states that prices can change without notice. BS. Not a way to run a business.
