I've been here twice at this point and tried the following: - Strawberry and Chocolate Ice Cream: standard ice cream. Nothing special. A few of them were freezer burned - Brownie: rich and fudgey, which was exactly what I was wanting at the time. Great as leftovers - Guava Filled Churro Bites: delicious, but you have to eat them right away. They are not good as leftovers I would like to try their nitro ice cream, but it's pricey and I'm not sure if I would like it enough. I was disappointed by the customer service during my visit. I was the only customer in the shop and ordered a single scoop of chocolate, even pointing to the flavor I wanted in the front display. After taking my payment, the employee went into the back and returned with a scoop of a different chocolate flavor. When I asked why she hadn't used the one I pointed to, she explained that the front flavor was "café chocolate." I apologized for the misunderstanding and let her know that was actually the flavor I wanted. Instead of simply correcting the mistake, she visibly became frustrated, threw the first scoop in the trash, let out a heavy sigh, rescooped the café chocolate from the front display, and slammed the ice cream freezer door. Her reaction made me feel like I had done something wrong for politely asking for the flavor I originally requested. I understand misunderstandings happen, but there's no reason for a customer to be made to feel like an inconvenience--especially when the mistake was easily corrected. I also prefer ice cream scooped from the display I ordered from, which is why I asked. I hope management addresses the customer service experience, because the interaction left a much worse impression than the ice cream itself. read more

They have just about everything here from cheese balls , churros, sundaes, banana splits, croquettes etc.. and a extensive selection of ice cream flavors.. the cashier was wonderful super sweet! she decorated the cherries on my pistachio almond scoop which is just above and beyond for me :) plenty of seating as well Can't wait to come back( especially around the summertime) and try the mermaid (acai) super bowl ! read more

Stopped in here because I love to grab nitrogen ice cream when I can find it. The service was different, we were greeted right away, but it took them 10 minutes to come up and help us and we were the only ones in the store. Once they came to the counter, barely a hi and the counter girl seemed annoyed of us ordering. Once i ordered they only took my order and didn't take my wife's and went to checkout. When I told her that wife was ordering too, she got annoyed. I ordered the nitro vanilla, while the ice cream was creamy, it was horribly artificial tasting, to the point I took 3 or 4 bites and threw the rest away. My wife had the Rocky road which was decent. We sampled a couple items from the case and those were pretty good. I wish I would have ordered something different but probably wouldn't come back either. Overall, I would not go out of way to come back here and would find another spot in town. read more

I've never had churro ice cream before and this place didn't disappoint!! Although i do think there could have been more of a churro flavor but overall it was really delicious and creamy. We also got the mini churro bites, half filled with Nutella and half filled with dulce de leche, and honestly the dulce de leche filled ones are better! The Nutella was just too overpowering in flavor. Overall super good, and service was great. Bathrooms are available to customers and lots of seating. read more

I was craving some ice cream and happened to walk by Nitro Plus at the peak of my craving and immediately stopped in. It's located a little off of Old San Diego Ave so there wasn't a ton of foot traffic and I was the only one in the shop. I decided to go with the cookies n cream nitro combo and it was AMAZING. Perfectly sweet, creamy, and decadent - even though I initially thought that the medium was going to be too much for me, I ended up finishing all of it in one sitting with no regrets. It went down easy. The making of your ice cream is also a cool show - it's made fresh and you can see the cold steam from the nitro coming off in waves from the bucket they use to churn the cream. read more

I walked past this place and decided to check it out. They use liquid nitrogen to create your ice cream. I got a small cup of vanilla ice cream with brownie bites and chocolate sauce. It was fantastic!! I loved the consistency of the ice cream and the brownies were so warm and gooey. A good spot for teenagers to chill with friends. Possibly a local hangout in lieu of a mall. Great for a group that wants a large spectrum of items to choose from. They have nitro ice cream (hence the name) but they also have regular store bought ice cream, and various desserts in one of the merchandise refrigerators. Also have coffee and espresso (again not recommended for elevated taste buds). If you want a bit of fried nosh, they have that too! The list seems to just keep going, but at levels of mediocrity. The old adage "spread too thin" comes to mind. Generally speaking, Not my cup of tea. Think fancy rest stop as opposed to elegant cafe. There was one person out of the handful or more of employees that knew what they were doing and took pride/initiative in their job. She was amazing and I give her props for dealing with all that she oversees. After exploring old town we stumbled upon this gem down the street from our hotel. They had ready to scoop ice cream as well as freshly made ice cream using nitrous. We've had this type of ice cream before and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the cookies and cream and churro flavors. They loved that the cookies and cream came with crushed Oreo cookies and even a full cookie on top. We don't get churros ice cream in Seattle so that was a treat! The girls working were not personable and a bit standoffish, but I came for ice cream and that's exactly what we got. Overall we enjoyed it. read more

I have tried nitrogen infused ice cream from several different spots. This one was unfortunately the least tasty. I ordered the mint nitro infused ice cream, and it didn't taste like mint. It seemed to be plain ice cream mixed with some sort of green syrup. quite artificial. One should also be aware that some of their drinks start off at $10. Came here yesterday while we were waiting for sushi from harney. I had the mint nitro icecream- it was my first time having nitro ice cream and I wasn't too impressed. It has a smooth gummy texture to it but I wasn't blown away by any means. My hubby had the regular peanutbutter icecream. Once again, nothing special. The flavors weren't that great and it all just tasted very synthetic to us. Much prefer cold stone- esp for the price as we thought they were rather pricey. But it is old town and rent is prob expensive- which I would be willing to pay again if I thought this place was good. What I will say is the place is pretty nice for kids- lots of colors and they seem to have an area for them to play. read more

The girl at the counter explained that the nitrogen froze the ice cream at a much colder temperature than usual as it was being churned and that results in a smoother texture (or something like that).
