The boyfriend and I were in search for a quick on-the-go breakfast one morning on our way to the South Bay for a pretty jammed packed day of fun and festivities. We'd already picked up our coffee (Peet's, of course!), so we were interested in something we could eat on the way to our final destination. Bagels sounds pretty good, it's portable and it's less messy than any other quick on-the-go breakfast items we could think of at the time. Being the germophobe that I am, I despise eating in cars in fear of microbaterial growth as a result of crumbs falling from whatever it is you're eating. We saw Noah's listed on Yelp as we walked out of Peet's, but had quite a difficult time finding it since it was located behind the Safeway shopping center in a smaller, more remote part of the shopping center. I'm not even sure it belongs in the same shopping center as the Safeway. Close, but no cigar. When we walked through the door, we walked right past the display case of bagels without even noticing it because there was absolutely nothing left but three bagels! The cashier noticed our puzzled look and explained that they had a mad rush earlier that morning and they couldn't bake quick enough to replenish their bare display case. All they had left were three options: blueberry (which was misplaced in the cinnamon raisin section), an onion (which looks pretty sad), and something I couldn't even remember. Either way, I was hoping for an Asiago cheese, but they didn't have any! :( We grabbed a blueberry bagel (toasted with reduced fat cream cheese) and a blueberry muffin instead. I know, I know...crumbs from the muffin could be dangerous for a germophobe like myself, especially since we were in my car, but because the boyfriend was driving, he didn't have the opportunity to leave crumbs! In all fairness, I did hand feed him most of the muffin, and the best parts of it too - the tops! Yes, that's how much I love him! :) The blueberry bagel was better than I thought...perfectly toasted with plenty of cream cheese, which the boyfriend loved! But I'm a tad disappointed with the blueberry muffin however. It's a bit on the dry side and crumbled quite easily! I think I am slightly biased when it comes to baked goods since I do make my own from time to time, catered to my liking. I think I would appreciate it more had there been a slight tartness to compliment the blueberries. A slight lemon zest, perhaps?? The cashier was very apologetic for their lack of options that morning, as he was ringing us up, I noticed he gave us an employee discount for our entire order as their way of apologizing for the lack of options! Sweet!! In the end, we didn't exactly get what we wanted, but at the same time, we did...a quick, on-the-go breakfast PLUS a discount! I'll toast to that! LOL! read more

When I spoke to her she barely turned around and stated I"ll be with you over her shoulder. I stood there for over 10 minutes and got nothing as she ignored me. This place sells bagels right? I was in 3 times last week with a simple order. 3 sesame and 3 good egg bagels. No bagels... ALL THREE TIMES! Oh! And you have to wait in line up to the register to find this out! That the cashier calls everyone Hon doesn't excuse watching the baker literally spinning in circles with a tray of uncooked bagels in hand. I'm hoping the franchise owner reads this. First, fire everyone. Second, realize that there are two kinds of customers. Those that want bagels, and those that want sandwiches. Don't make them wait in the same line. I l am a big fan of Noah's...This store lives upto it's name....People are courteous. The only reason for taking away 2 stars is the coffee. It's quite watered down. I like the Vanilla Hazelnut flavored coffee...but its very diluted. They need to work on that...rest all 5 stars. read more

I can't think of any other bagel shops out there besides Noah's. Bagels are baked fresh in the morning, close in the afternoon at 3 pm I believe. They have a variety of bagels from whole wheat sesame, poppy seed, asiago, seasonal bagels like pumpkin, chocolate chip to cinnamon raisin. Not only do they have a variety of bagels, but cream cheese as well from blueberry, strawberry, onion chives to garlic herb! They had jalapeno, but they removed it from the shelves now im sad :(. There's breakfast/ lunch bagelwiches and other baked goods. Their bagel dogs are kind of pricey. If your planning to get a lot of bagels I suggest getting a bagel bucket, its a great deal~ you get 13 assorted bagels with 2 flavor cream cheese for 13.99. Service is prompt and friendly! read more

This used to be one of the favorite breakfast spots of my fiance and I, but no more. We started noticing the staff changes about 6 weeks ago, it's now all young kids who spend most of their time ignoring customers and chatting behind the counter. They are frequently out of the most basic items, and our simple breakfast sandwich order took over 15 minutes to fill (again) and came out cold - since the primary focus of the staff is chatting and hanging out. Trash cans are always full, tables are dirty. Hopefully management can turn this place around as we used to love this place, but after a 4th straight bad experience in a row, we won't be going back to this Noah's location for a while. read more

i've always wondered why there are two breakfast baked goods with holes in them. how did the donut or bagel get its shape? which one came first? anway, i love the jalepeno bagel from here. not spicy, but has the jalepeno flavor that i like. my wife likes the asiago, everything, and chocolate chip bagels. the honey almond schmear goes well with the plain / sweeter bagels, haven't tried the other flavors. i would give them 5 stars, but they close by the afternoon. as silly as it sounds, sometimes i want a bagel at night, or at least to pick it up the day before. hmmm, i wonder if they will make bagel holes... i should pitch that idea. read more

i was craving a bagel this morning so we came here for a quick breakfast. I love love love the lox and shmear here but i hate that they only have it on their lunch menu. luckily... they can make a bagel and shmear and add one portion of lox for much less than the lunch special (which is over $7) i also asked for tomato on my bagel.. which costs 40 cents.. it took quite a long time for our order to come out. the pook ordered the spinch and bacon egg panini. i figured his would take a while so that was the reason why our order took so long. whatever.. we werent in a rush. we sat outside since it was a beautiful morning. first thing i noticed was that my bagel didnt have the tomato i asked for. i thought it was free so i was okay with it being left out. the bagel was not even warm.. i figured they had left it out while waiting for the panini to be made. the pook took a bite of his panini and noticed there was no bacon. we opened the sandwich and tried to see if there were maybe bits of bacon.. but nope.. bacon was nowhere to be found. we looked at our receipt to see if they rung it up correctly and they did. then i saw that they did charge for the tomato. (btw panera bread does not charge for tomato in your bagel) i brought the panini back in with our receipt to show that we ordered it with bacon but did not receive it. the person at the counter was nice and apologized and offered a refund AND to re-make the sandwich. wow! i just wanted the bacon... i told him to do whatever he felt was right.. i just wanted to get the bacon for the pook. in the end i received the refund and they remade the sandwich. this situation could have been really bad but i feel like they did a great job of fixing it. but with a full staff (there were 2 at the register, 3 making the food, and 1 person taking orders) i felt like this should not have happened in the first place. read more

The staff was pretty unprofessional one girl just stood there watching the other girl taking our order. Then she started walking around behind the counter on her cell phone. Just took my kids in for the 25th anniversary special - $0.25 bagels. We waited for an hour with the line barely moving and everyone in line very frustrated. There were NOT enough employees working on a day like this. We had a specific time we had to leave, so my kids left crying because they stood on line for a long time and never got the bagel they were so excited for. Poor planning by management. read more

I have to write a review on this place because every time I've come I've experienced the best service ever! it really is your typical Noah's bagels (I love bagels!!!!) but the people working here are so helpful. I'm obsessed with trying new things so whenever I go I choose the kind of bagel I like, and then ask one of the workers what kind of schmear would go good with it. I ordered 6 Baker Boxes, and each Baker Box is supposed to have a variety of flavored bagels. They put only one flavor per box. I have coworkers coming in at different times, so I had to bring out a box at a time. The coworkers didn't have the chance to pick out a flavor they liked since there was only one flavor per box. I didn't know about this until I opened the fifth box. The problem is, I didn't catch this since I had my assistant bringing out the boxes at a time. I'm giving this place one star because of their awful service. I talked with the owner over the phone later. And he offered me one free bagel for all the inconveniences. What an insult. He insisted on as long as he gave me six flavors, there shouldn't be a problem. But he forgot that each Baker Box is supposed to have variety. That's the main reason why I bought Baker Boxes in the first place. His attitude was rude, unfriendly and unprofessional, and he was not apologetic about his mistake. Service is definitely lacking here. What happened?! It used to be soooo great! The employees need to be more knowledgeable on what they have in stock and what their menu offers. All I wanted to know is if you had anymore plain bagels in stock. All you had to do was turn around and check the rack behind you. Instead you just looked left and right unsure. Please make your orders in order. I stood there for over 20 minutes watching as other people's orders were passing me up. I had to ask and mention that my lunch was going to end in less than 10 minutes before they bothered to start on my bagel. Can't remember what shmear I asked for or too lazy to look? Not acceptable. You can't just smother plain old cream cheese on all my orders. This has happened multiple time in the past month. I work in retail so I know how it is to deal with customers on a daily basis. So when I'm upset and say something, I do feel justified when I get lacking service. My orders have continuously been messed up. So I doubt I want to come back for awhile. I am giving 1 star for today because of a very poor system of the place. They are celebrating their 25 years anniversary today and their bagels are only .25 cents with shmear on it. It's almost free right? But I was there this morning with my 2 kids, they had a long line and we waited 45 minutes just to get their .25 cents bagels. I almost gave up but I want to be part of their silver anniversary since I love their bagels! They are anticipating to have a lot of customers today but they have only 1 person getting the order in the front and at the same time giving also the orders. There was another lady who assisted her but most of the time, there was only 'one' person at the front. And guess what? They have 2 people in the cashier! I don't think the supervisor/owner is affected with the long line and having customers waited for 45 minutes. I would suggest to get more helpers for your today's special anniversary! POOR SYSTEM!! This Noah's Bagels does not sell bagels. They sell bread shaped like a donut. Very disappointing. I'm from NYC and I know what a bagel is supposed to be: slightly tough crust with chewy, moist inside. These bagels had none of these attributes. Sorry. read more

This place is terrible. Whenever there is a Noah's coupons, service personnels do not want to honor coupons. I came over a few tiimes with coupon for smoothie and the service personnels kept telling that thay do not have any more fruit to make smoothies. Service personnels were not telling the true. Love the honey almond cream cheese!!! So great on an apple cinnamon bagel for breakfast!!! Also the garlic herb spread goes perfect on a Asiago bagel for a turkey sandwich. Very good, very reasonably priced, great customer service. I'm always greeted when I walk in, sometimes they remember my order to. I really appreciate good customer service along with great food.
