Good bagels at an ok price with lousy service typically. The 'ambiance' is the same at every Noah's. But recently their thing is closing early. Sign on the door today said closing at 12:30 PM. At least 2 people were still 'working' when I arrived at 1:30 PM to pick up my mobile order. They didn't care to answer the door. And they didn't care to answer the phone either. Whoever Noah is he wouldn't be happy with the lack of customer service. Update: went in while they were open. My order from last week was honored. read more

I used to love bagels in my "prime" years hehe. Then I became an adult and found out that bagels aren't as healthy as they claim to be. You know all them carbs. But when you feel like a bagel treat, can't go wrong here. I did the blueberry bagel, toasted with shmear. They really need to stop calling it that. The immature boy in me giggles when I say that. Anyhoo, it's cream cheese. And oh it's so good on the nicely toasted bagel. I don't eat it often and man the bagels here are good. The wife ate a chorizo bagel with egg on a whole grain. I had a very bad experience at this place today. Though been to this place with my kids in summers and it was a great experience. I had ordered today farmhouse with no bacon/ham and I've made sure to the guy who was taking my order to listen clearly that no bacon or ham in the farmhouse from signature eggs. And the glasses guy idk his name he in fact loudly repeated my order and I was like good. It was a breakfast time and I was really hungry and when I brought my bagel home, just can't believe that there was a bacon and a ham in the bagel sandwich. I went later in a day before the closing time and there was an African American lady idk her name either she was so rude to me when I told her. She rudely asked me to throw it away I won't do it. So I did it to avoid the situation but she was being sarcastic and said "if it would've been me I would've taken out the bacon and eat" so my husband said " it doesn't work like that". P.s. that glasses guy he recognized me when I came back to the store to return the sandwich and the African American lady asked him to deal the customer since she was bz with other customer he made an excuse to not entertain me. I usually don't leave comments like that I guess it never happened with me before but it was a very unpleasant experience at this specific location. Their bagels are fresh even the ambience looks good but their service is pathetic and you guys really need to fix this problem. I would Never go to this place again. read more

They have the best Chelsea iced coffee and hot coffee flavor that I always return to. Bagels are great too. I'm a fan there cream cheese, and chives is the best. Since I do mostly mobile orders, the services is pretty great. Everything's ready by the time you get there. read more

Just ordered a few bagels and disappointed that we couldn't use the gift card that we purchased from them because the transaction already took place even though we were charged for the gift card in the same transaction. That was the whole point of buying the gift card!! Teach your employees to ask if a customer would like to use it in the same transaction. Also, the service is left wanting and it's rude. I am done with this place! I've lived in Pleasanton for over 20 years. I used to go there at least several times a week. Then "something" happened to them! I'm not sure what exactly. The store is dirty, their quality is below par, their portions are half of what they used to be, their prices are twice as much, and there is a barrage of rude employees going through a revolving door. With all that said, I still stopped there once or twice a year to see if things have improved; in vain! This last time I actually got sick. Poor customer service and no clear indication of where to form a line. Customers are just standing around aimlessly, forcing you to ask each one if they are lined up to place an order or waiting for their order. Expect a free-for-all when it comes to actually ordering and when you do finally reach the register you are greeted with eye rolling and poor attitude from the staff. I won't be returning to this location anytime soon, there are far better options nearby. read more

Witnessed atrocious customer service today towards a woman who simply wanted to use her gift cards to pay for bagels. The woman was being told no, come back another day, and was objecting to that. The employee was extremely rude to this woman, scolded her for objecting to this, and generally made for an unpleasant experience in the store. Some of the worst customer service I've seen in a long time. Makes me want to start using a different bagel shop in Pleasanton. read more

The coffee is good. My kids love their bagels. But the costumer service is lacking. Like we've just walked into a party that we weren't invited to. Cold stares. No smiles. We were the only people in there so it's not like they were overwhelmed, or had any reason to be anything other than attentive, polite, courteous, and welcoming. One said "have a nice day" as I left but with the attitude coming off of them she may have well said "Here's your bagel, Bitch" Even my 8 year noticed that they weren't at all friendly. Definitely no Pleasanton charm when you walk through those doors. I'll take my crew to Bagel Street Cafe the next time we need a bagel fix. They have a lot more to offer AND They say crazy things to us like, "Hi, how may I help you?" They smile at make us feel like valued customers. It has been a while since we've been to Noah's and decided to give them another try. It's been over a year since we've been here last, & sadly nothing has changed it terms of customer service. Carol is still rude, condescending, & sucks the joy out of getting a bagel on a beautiful Saturday morning. With service this bad, you would at least hope to get your order correct--nope. We ordered 2 egg and cheese bagels, yet we only got egg. How do you mess up a two ingredient order? My husband went in to order and asked for (verbatim) "two orders of egg and cheese bagels, on everything bagels". And Carol proceeds to correct him "you mean a sandwich?" Then asked the follow up question "on what bagel?" Then, while waiting, she told him to stand off to the side, and being his fault, which he acknowledged, (he was standing in front of the kitchen door,) when she opened the door. No "sorry" or "excuse me", she rudely said "you almost got hit there". We totally get that there are many challenges with COVID. But this was our first visit since COVID and it is just one of many bad experiences (even pre-COVID) we've had here. read more

Solid place to get breakfast every now and then. We usually go for the Bagel Box - 13 bagels and two tubs of cream cheese for $14.99. Occasionally there are coupons in the Sunday newspaper which save a few dollars off this deal. The bagels are made fresh and are chewy and delicious. Our favorite savory bagels are Asiago Cheese and Peppercorn. Among the sweet ones we usually get Blueberry and Cinnamon Raisin. And we always pick up a couple of "neutral" varieties like Sesame and Sourdough. For the cream cheese" Shmears" we lean towards the Honey Almond or Strawberry flavors for sweet, and Garlic and Herb or Garden Veggie for savory. Parking is never a problem, and the lines move quickly. We ask them to slice our bagels, which means we can dig into them that much quicker once we get home. Enjoy! read more

Stopped in to try Noah's Bagels just before 10AM on a Wednesday morning. I ordered a bakers dozen of bagels with cream cheese to share with my colleagues. The bakers dozen Includes (2) 6OZ containers of cream cheese, and they have a variety of flavors to choose from. Despite the morning rush, they had a large selection of bagels still. (Nothing worse then going for bagels and the bakery's ran of your favorite flavor) I ordered everything bagels, sourdough bagels, onion bagels, pretzel bagels, and chocolate chip bagels. While I would love to rate each flavor, I couldn't afford to eat that many carbs in one day. I did have an everything bagel, and it was everything I hoped it would be. read more

I had a pretty unfortunate customer service experience this AM. I was picking up a dozen bagels for my work and simply asked if they sold croissants. It's my boss's birthday, and I was hoping to surprise her with her favorite egg and ham croissant order. The woman helping me responded with, "we have what's in the window." Essentially I did a quick glance and did not see croissants. So I said, got it, so no? And she says, yeah, we don't sell them. I'm like, okay... that could have been your answer but alright... I'll let that rudeness pass, lol. I am not sensitive. Then I proceeded to ask if she thinks two tubs of cream cheese would normally suffice for a dozen bagels. She blatantly ignored me twice. Again I was like, maybe she did not hear me. I did ask while she was grabbing my coffee. Then she was at the register, and I try again... at this point, she is right in front of me and blatantly ignored me, I was appalled lol. I asked umm hi are you going to answer me? She then responded with, "I don't know, you get 2 for free." As I am writing this, it seems silly. But, honestly did not expect such poor customer service overall. I get we all have bad days, but I do expect kinder service, and ignoring is never the way to treat customers. read more

We've been going to this place for many years now, never had a bad experience except for this morning. agreed, it was a weekend morning and they were busy but our experience was very bad. Lady at the front desk who took our order didn't even make eye contact, didn't ask for a name, we had been waiting for more than 20 minutes, and finally decided to walk up to the desk and ask for our order, we were given a bag that wasn't our order, went back to the store, when we asked about our order, other lady that was making bagels was rude as well, she scoffed and was upset at us !! They messed up our order three times. The first time we ordered, we asked for 6 bagels, all of them cut, with 2 of them having jalapeño cream cheese, which we repeated multiple times. When the worker told us our total, it was shockingly cheap, but she did not repeat our order to us, which led us to believe she had gotten everything. However, when we received our receipt, we noticed she had only gotten 4 of our bagels. We had to wait again to fix our order, and another worker helped us this time. We ordered the remaining bagels, but when we received our order, she gave us a raisin bagel instead of a cinnamon bliss roll. I tried two different bagels yesterday and while I loved one, I thought the other was okay. Bacon, egg, cheddar breakfast on gourmet spinach cheese bagel: this was so so greasy. While the flavor was good when I bit into the spinach portion of the bagel, the rest of it was not even cheesy, just really oily/greasy. I could see how this would give you an upset stomach bc there was barely any bacon in it either, just two tiny strips of bacon that were not thick at all. The egg was good, I got one and t was fluffy. I think you're bette riff ordering a plain bagel with this sandwich or this gourmet bagel with a simple shmear, combining the two is too lily in my opinion. Apple cinnamon gourmet bagel: I added the honey almond shmear to this and honestly it's the best thing I've ever tasted! The top half of the bagel is like a gooey apple fritter and the bottom is like a cinnamon bagel. The bagel itself isn't overly sweet which I liked. I definitely recommend this combination if you're craving something sweet! read more

Amazingly prompt service, plus all of the bagels are always hot and fresh. The staff is really nice and very attentive. The new management has really turned this place around. My favorite are the classic plain, Asiago... the FarmHouse sandwich and the bacon and cheddar breakfast sandwich. The front of the house is always cleans and back seems very clean from plain view. 5 stars for this Noah location. read more

Stopped in for breakfast this morning. I've never had a problem for all the times I've stopped in. This morning was different. First there was the woman in front of me who, when she got her order, had to come back up because it was wrong. The staff quickly replaced her order with the correct one. The incorrect order, instead of being thrown away, was inspected and then quickly repackaged by what I can only guess was one of the managers, and then handed out to the person it was supposed to go to. I couldn't get to the girl it belonged to quick enough to tell her that her order had been handled by more than just the staff. Then there was my order. I ordered a sourdough bagel toasted, with plain cream cheese and lox. Because of the previous issue, I opened my order in the parking lot and the lox was missing. Good thing I was paying attention. When I got the bagel back, there was hardly any lox on it. They had at least 3 new-ish people in there this morning, and while they're usually rock stars, this morning was severely lacking. The issue with handing that other woman's order to her without making new? That was gross. I know they were busy, but no excuse for not having sanitary procedures. If -IF- I go back to this store, I'll be watching them like a hawk while they make my order. Shouldn't have to do that. Makes me wonder. If they'd dropped something on the floor, would they have hoped that no one saw anything and just packaged it up for the customer? I don't want to take that risk. read more

Stopped by this morning for coffee and a poppy seed bagel. There was no line at 7:30am. The cashier was enthusiastic and friendly. The poppy seed bagel was toasted perfectly with just the right amount of cream cheese. A large self-serve cup of coffee was $1.99. I tried the medium blend with a hint of chestnuts. It wasn't bad. Temperature-wise, the coffee was hot. You never know how hot or cold the coffee may be from those self-serve "termos'" The dining area was clean. Solid 3 stars from me. Only giving them two stars based on the customer service I received. I walked in, wasn't even greeted. I was ignored for a few minutes. Once the girl took my order she automatically gave me the the combo with chips (I don't usually eat chips but it was fine, they seemed busy). She greeted an elderly couple who came in after me, completely different with smiles and a warm greeting (which I did not receive). So I felt discriminated. Second of all she gave me my order. I was confused because there was not a selection of chips. All she says to me is "orders ready" as she looks at me because she didn't write my name down.... Then I asked about the chips if they were in there. She goes "it's in the bag". I asked if they had other flavors and she rudely and with attitude she says "that's all we have" like it was such an inconvenience for her. I didn't even ask for chips. But I bit my tongue and said "alrighty then". I'm sorry. I usually don't complain, but she was so rude to me for no reason. Not sure what her name is and where she got her attitude from, but customer service should be a factor in your service. Having good food isn't enough. She was light skinned Hispanic with long brown/blonde ombré hair, young in her early twenties. I hope management is careful about who they hire to represent their company because I'm never coming back to this location because of her. read more

I actually called ahead to ensure that they were now open for dining but my call automatically went to a recorded message telling me to call back later. So I'm guessing their phones are set to DND. I really like the quality of the bagels but the closed dining room just seems to be over the top or an excuse not to have to clean up after customers. I ordered six sesame bagels and asked that one be toasted and they said they couldn't do that. I don't understand that policy.

What happened to this place? They discontinued pumpkin, sourdough and egg bagels? No pumpkin smear. They were so disorganized! Customers did not know where to stand and order. Way to many people in the building. Absolutely no way of social distancing. Someone took my order and they had to make a new one. The cashier was telling people to complete a survey and come back to her to get 3 free bagels. This also caused back up and confusion. I have been craving a bagel for daaayyssss, days people! I was running errands and saw this Noah's from the stop light. Whew! Instantly made a pit stop. Parking was a bit hectic but I found a decent one. Waited in line for a brief moment then ordered a Farmhouse on an Asiago bagel. Muy delicioso!
