This place has the cutest aesthetics but I think it's hard to recreate what it looks like on the menu. It does take a while for the dessert to come out so you can chill in the limited seating area or wait outside. I got the Dubai soft serve - the soft serve is nice and light but for what it was I wish they loaded it up more w toppings. It was like a small dusting of pistachio instead of what they show in the picture. Also, I noticed that there was a huge gap in the middle of the dessert so the ice cream is not as much as you're expecting
Thank you Nobibi for meeting my sweet tooth and making creamy and deliciously sweet ice cream. My co worker and I got the biscoff and Oreo ice cream they are all in cups and drizzled with the appropriate toppings. In the bottom there are Frosted Flakes which was a surprise. I loved the biscoff as they had crumbles inside and they had a drizzle of caramel. The place has lots of seating and the customer service was great.
AMBIANCE: Cute late-night dessert spot in Convoy. Has small table seating, but can get crowded. You order using their self-serve kiosk and they call out your order. SERVICE: Friendly staff and desserts came out quick. I didn't hear exactly what one of the guys said when I picked up my 2nd cotton candy order (it was that good LOL) but it was along the lines of "you guys must really like cotton candy" and was pretty funny. FOOD: I LOVE cotton candy and will always get it whenever available. They make the cotton candy when you order so it's fresh and for $7, I think it's worth it (although it is literally just sugar). They also have drink pairings where you can get a boba drink with cotton candy on top.
Yum! This ice cream shop has unique flavors that are sure to excite and great portions. I ordered the Flora and it was delightfully fun. Chamomile flowers in wonderfully light milk ice cream dusted with matcha was a new experience for me that I won't soon forget. Make sure you take bites of ice cream with the flowers! They can be strong in an earthy way, but I love chamomile. Can't wait to come back. The service was fast, with polite employees and the ambience is very chill.
Nobibi more like yes bi bi!! It's such a fun word to say~ I had the pleasure of trying this out recently and it was so good! I got the mango milk and it tasted so refreshing. They give a pretty big amount I feel like two can def share. I didn't know that it was a chain because it's my first time trying it. They have pretty interesting/ trendy flavors like matcha and I think I saw something with Dubai chocolate not too sure and they even have drinks. This would be perfect for summer and it wasn't too sweet which is the highest compliment a dessert can get imo! There are couple tables to sit at, could possibly fit a bigger group. Parking was rough because I went on a weekend but service is pretty fast. It's in a nice plaza with tons of places to eat around!
Crowded! Friday night is hopping at Nobibi!! Even being crowded, they were friendly and fast. We waited only about 5 minutes for our treats. They're made fresh for each order so that's pretty impressive. My wife really loved her Biscoff. I tired it as well and it was very good! My choco was good but I was not a fan of the cone. I assumed it was a traditional waffle cone but I think it ma have been a matcha waffle cone. Definitely not the sweet crunch I was expecting. I will say, this is 100% my opinion and taste preference. The ice cream was delicious and the cone was super crisp, just not for me. Would absolutely grab another sweet treat from Nobibi but would go cup or one of their custom creations.
I visited this location on a weekday while waiting for kbbq. First of all this parking lot is a nightmare, so if you're coming here specifically for dessert after dinner, I'd pass. Otherwise, great place to kill time. Parking is also technically not free. There's a lot of seating instead, great for small groups. They offer a pretty basic dessert drink/soft serve menu with things like mango, chocolate, ube. Also seems like there could be seasonal/rotating items. I got the dubai chocolate softserve - appreciated the attempt at layering but could work on more layers of toppings because it's basically a kinda big cup of soft serve that mainly tastes like chocolate and not much pistachio.
We wanted a refreshing dessert after dinner, and decided to check out Nobibi. I didn't know they actually have quite a few locations, including Indonesia. I got the mango mellow ice cream ($7.99), and it came with crystal pearls and mango chunks spread pretty evenly throughout. The mango puree and cornflakes were mostly at the bottom of the cup so it got a bit too sweet in my last bites. My friend got the strawberry blush ($6.99) which had strawberries, crystal boba and cornflakes. It came with a good amount of strawberry slices, and even had two strawberry pocky sticks at the top. He enjoyed it! The service was pretty quick, and it had a good amount of tables for the amount of customers. The parking was tough because it's in the same plaza as Fire Spot, Tasty Noodle House, and Taco Stand. All in all, this is a solid dessert spot!
It was our first time. Parking can be a bit of a challenge because they are located around several others businesses that share the same lot. We tried the dairy free Dole strawberry mini cloud, it was so good!! I'd definitely order that flavor again! I also ordered the jasmine green tea. The tea was very strong even with sweetener. They have plenty of seating & one single bathroom. Staff is friendly. We will definitely return!
this place is super cute and conveniently located next to a bunch of other food spots, so it's perfect to stop by after a meal for a little treat. i really like how unique everything is here. the drinks and ice cream (especially the black ice cream) are super aesthetic and fun, definitely a place you'd want to take pics at. service wise, i wouldn't say nothing too crazy, the staffs were nice. BUT i will say... the cone looks bigger than it actually is it's mostly the paper, so i was a little disappointed when i got it other than that, it's still a really cute spot. they have a good variety of drinks and ice cream flavors, so there's a lot to choose from. overall, a fun place to check out if you're in the area and want something sweet!
Parking in this plaza was insane. It's a paid lot. More parking on the street or nearby lots, both free and pre pay. This little dessert shop offered ice cream, shakes, cotton candy. We took our nephew and niece here specifically for cotton candy. I like that they offer different sizes but limited by color. Just pink or blue. It came in mini, large, dream cloud or mini cloud. The cotton acts as a "cloud" and surrounds the soft serve or other treats. You must order on the kiosk which was easy because of the photos but I had questions and no one was around to answer because they're all busy prepping orders. We also go: Avocado ice cream - crushed corn flakes, coconut flakes, fresh slices of avocado, vanilla soft serve not ice cream. This was good, not too sweet but $7.99 for a tiny cup was too much when only 1/4 of the avocado was used. Strawberry dole float - strawberry flavor dole whip in strawberry juice topped with 3 slices of fresh strawberries. The juice was too syrupy for me. It's a nice treat if you're already in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Only the cotton candy was worth it for the kids but I wish they made cartoon characters.

Creamy, tropical, and satisfying. It's something I'd come back for. - Peach Tea - Refreshing and not overly sweet, a solid choice if you're in the mood for something lighter. Their color-changing spoons was a nice little surprise! They turn purple when they touch something cold, how neat. Overall, everything I tried was pretty good, and the mango milk ice cream flavor in particular stood out.

Wanted to try this spot since I saw it pop up on Instagram and it did not disappoint. I got the egg waffle with strawberry dole whip, dried strawberry crumble and caramel. My GF got the Dalgona Ice Cream which comes with Dalgona coffee, caramel and cornflakes. Both were very good. The ice cream is very creamy and the prices were satisfactory as well! read more
First time coming here and I'm a fan! We came around 8:30 pm on a Friday and it was pretty packed but we luckily found a table. Cute and clean interior. We got the biscoff ice cream and all LOVED it!! It was delicious, smooth, creamy and perfectly sweet. I liked how you can choose the ice cream flavor and we went with the milk ice cream. The biscoff cookie and crumbs, caramel drizzle and cornflakes at the bottom were perfect toppings. Size was okay for 3 people, I wish there was more! I love biscoff anything and it was perfectly sweet and had caramel drizzle. biscoff crumbs and frosted flakes throughout. Okay size for $7. My friend's taro ice cream was pretty good too. Located in one of Convoy's busiest plazas surrounded by amazing dinner options, Nobibi is a perfect post-meal dessert stop. I came here for the soft serve and it didn't disappoint. I especially loved the Oreo ice cream paired with their signature Ninja cone, which has subtle hints of cocoa. Found that they have a bunch of seating and a cute interior so you can definitely enjoy your dessert in a comfortable space. HIGHLY recommend saving room for dessert and coming here to grab a sweet treat to end the night! read more

This place was on my list for a long time and I was super excited to try it. For those that love avocado as a dessert, I would not recommend this place. The dessert I got was lacking of any flavor. The avocado was bland and was accompanied by a bland vanilla soft serve. The service was quick and the place was very aesthetic, but I'd probably recommend trying another dessert. Parking is hard to come by even though there's a parking lot here. It's paid but free for a certain time period if you're visiting the restaurants here. read more

I've always passed this place but today was my first time going in. I'm so glad I did because everything looked so delicious, it was so hard to make a decision. I am so sad that I'm lactose intolerant because the soft serve here looked amazing. I got the cheesy foam strawberry slush. I thought it was okay, I definitely should've gotten a topping with it. I had a bite of my sister's soft serve and fell in love. I wish I could have eaten the whole thing. It was so delicious. I want to come back here to try the other drinks. I've tried this spot about four times. First drink was when they first opened and it was their thai tea, second my friend bought me the dalgona matcha, and third time was when I suggested my friends to try this spot since it's in the same vicinity where we had dinner. They ordered the dubai chocolate ice cream and I wish I had a picture of it. The chocolate was so creamy and just the strong flavor of rich chocolate, that I love. With the added toppings of crunch from the corn flakes and kanafe. But I would def. order the chocolate soft serve alone. Another time I ordered the specialty coffee which is a banana coffee. I'm a fan of banana flavor drinks so this was really good. Milk was rich and the coffee complimented the banana well. Some spots when making the banana coffee drink, it would be too much coffee and less banana. But here it was done right. This spot does have a kiosk to place orders too when it's busy or don't want to engage much with the cashier. Also decor in here is cute! read more
I wanted to try Nobibi since I had heard it was newer in Convoy! The dessert was really good, I went for the Biscoff Soft Serve with Milk Ice Cream. San Diego doesn't have a lot of Soft Serve specialized stores so this is a good break from our endless boba options. Love that you can choose which soft serve flavor you like regardless of which "topping" selection you order on the menu. There are a few tables and seating is pretty good for being a smaller space. Only qualm I have is with the parking (but that's the case for every place in the Convoy area). The parking lot is very busy and I usually don't even try and am able to find parking on the side streets. read more

The inside of this place is so cute and very instagrammable! They have a selection of ice creams, drinks, and cotton candy. I tried both their milk teas and the ice cream, but I think the ice cream was a better choice. The Biscoff ice cream was a soft serve that had cereal at the bottom that I really liked because of the change in textures. I came with a party of 4 and 2 of us were able to order just fine. But after the 2 of us ordered, the workers started to make all the current orders. The other 2 in our party had to order through the kiosk and they didn't get their ice cream orders until 10 min after we got ours. The ice cream itself was sweet and creamy but I think the staff should have 3 workers as opposed to 2. The inside is really cute! Heads up that the parking lot can get busy so I would find street parking. read more

First time here and was pleasantly impressed! They have the option to order on the kiosk but also the option to order at the counter. It's a nice clean shop with a brightly lit sitting area. A beautiful plant that grows along the wall. Each wall is IG worthy for photos. So many options to try but we went with the Biscoff Ice Cream which was absolutely delicious!! You can change the ice cream flavor but I recommend just sticking with the regular milk flavor. There are cornflakes down at the bottom which was a nice surprise. We also ordered their Lychee-Dragonfruit slush which wasn't too bad but probably wouldn't order it next time. Service was great since they were out of Taro products so the young girl let me know before I started my order. I appreciated that very much. Towards the end, i placed a to-go order for a Strawberry Blush and that probably wasn't the best idea but it survived the drive home. Hopefully they can come up with a better togo cup for that but overall, I really enjoyed my time here. Definitely going back again. read more

New new boba and ice cream place in San Diego! Grand opening on September 21-22 with 50% off everything! The first 100 customers on the first day received a free Flora ice cream as well. So exciting! It's located in between The Taco Shop and Tofu House (new pho place opening up in between!) in Convoy Ct on Convoy St in Kearny Mesa. This is one of the worse parking lots in Convoy. There's a quite a bit of stalls but narrow stalls... and because of so many eateries, it's almost impossible to find a spot during lunch and dinner hours. I saw an ad on Instagram that there was a new place opening up, and it was perfect because my boyfriend and I were going to be in the area on their first grand opening day. We decided to check it out and order their House Coffee with Cheese Foam and Red Bean & Taro Ice Cream. As we were one of the first 100 customers as well, we got a free Flora ice cream which is a flavored dusting and Chamomille. The House Coffee was GOOD - super strong and bitter, the way I love my coffee. There's no adjustments in sweetness so I was super grateful it wasn't that sweet. The only down side was the crazy amount of ice there was. The ice took up 3/4 of the cup which sucked sigh. Thankfully, the ice was crushed rather the big cubes. And honestly, the delicious coffee definitely makes up for it! The ice creams all reminded me of a McDonald's soft serve consistency. Loved how smooth the ice creams were and the aesthetics of both ice creams! The red bean and taro one was really good, not too sweet either! The cornflakes were on the bottom which was kind of interesting. The Flora one wasn't unique, in my opinion, as it was mainly just a vanilla ice cream in a cone. The cone was quite good though! Not sure if it's chocolate flavor? The aesthetics for this one was beautiful though! We liked it so much (especially the deals, haha) that we came back on their second grand opening day before lunch! I got their Matcha Red Bean with Oolong, 50% sweetness, and my boyfriend for their Thai Tea, 50% sweetness. My drink was okay. It was quite watery in my opinion. No nice oolong flavor I was hoping for sad. Not a favorite comparing it to the coffee. The Thai tea was good - more on the creamy side which I somewhat liked and didn't. My friend got their Roasted Milk Tea Brûlée. This was VERY good. It has a nice strongish tea flavor with a hint of roastiness which I liked a lot! Definitely one I'll get in the future. Overall, a great new place for both ice cream and drinks! I do want to come back for other drinks in the future. read more

New ice cream chain in SD, so I had to try it out. I got one of their house specials and tbh it wasn't anything crazy. Tasted like regular soft serve with simple ingredients on top. The service was atleast quick and the person at the register sort of explained their concept to help differentiate them from the other ice cream shops. Small seating, but enough for people to come and go without a long wait. Can't wait to see what else they introduce on their menu! read more

I really liked the interior of Nobibi. The atmosphere was great and service was good. The presentation of my ice cream was also really great. I liked that there was a disc of protection between the melting ice cream and my hand. Overall my experience was good, but I did not enjoy the black sesame ice cream. It was a little icy and not very flavorful -- far from what I expected it to taste like. When I'm eating on Convoy again I look forward to trying another flavor and updating my review. read more

Very cutesy little place but parking is horrible, I mean we are on Convoy! Cute decorations, I had to get the cloud for my Yelp pictures! The vanilla ice cream tastes normal to me, I wish they let you choose the ice cream flavor, maybe I could've asked? Came during soft opening which was a day before the grand opening special. The interior is very nice and clean. Love that the manager is working with the employees to get service done. We ordered the floral black sesame. Ice cream was good but will also caution that the flowers are not edible - which is a bit disappointing for me. It was there to look pretty. read more

We were looking for a dessert place after dinner and we chanced upon this newly opened Nobibi on Convoy. Cute place to chill. They have a wall with ice cream decor. We ordered the Strawberry Blush. This is the creamiest ice cream I've ever tasted and it has strawberry slices, corn flakes and crystal boba. With added fix-ins like strawberry sticks and a cute heart-shaped spoon. You guys need to check them out! I love this strawberry blush! Maybe I'll buy the Red Bean and Taro next!! The service is great and i see the owners serving also today. I came here on a whim with my boyfriend after seeing the grand opening sign. I had the biscoff ice cream and he had the red bean taro. The ice cream options were black sesame and milk. I opted for milk and my boyfriend chose black sesame. Unfortunately, his came out with milk. He decided to just let it go and not have them remake it. We both agreed that we would want to try the black sesame if we came back. Overall, it's very cute/aesthetic inside. There is a 20% off currently for the grand opening. Overall, I would say give it a try. read more
