I didnt hear her call my number cause i was in a deep conversation with my boy but she was able to deliever it to my table and a nice smile. Super chill dog friendly food stand right on the sand by Alamitos Beach. It's much quieter and less crowded than Gaucho Beach and Monty's down at Rosie's Dog Beach, but they do serve small, but juicy $5 puppy patties that our Ocean loves. Hubby and I have only had beer, wine and seltzer here and they do generously pour for a decent price ($5-8). They also have fountain drinks, coffee, teas, bottled drinks and pre-made cocktails. They offer a variety of simple breakfast and lunch items including egg sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, salads, quesadillas, rice bowls, vegan options and ice cream. I'll have to try their breakfast burritos one of these days. Apparently, they're recognized as being on the top 5 list in Long Beach for them. They have about 7 tables that can be moved around on the sand and patio area. A big jungle gym is right next to it as well as restrooms with soap and toilet paper fully stocked! Wow! Now bad for beach food!! Usually the kind of food you'll find by the beach are crappy food. I've been here a couple of times and lunch does not disappoint. It seems like it would just be a mediocre food, but it's actually not bad and it's amazing for beach food and they take their time to cook it today. I had chicken teriyaki bowl. I love the beach, and while Long Beach isn't the beach that I usually go to, I'm so glad I did today. This little gem is right on the beach, just steps from the water. The menu is pretty big and had quite a variety, especially for a place with a walk up order window. There are sandwiches and wraps, salads, breakfast, burritos, ice cream and Italian iced, and even a puppy patty for your dog. Even better, they serve beers, hard seltzers, wine, cocktails, and even champagne. Grab a table in the sun, or, like us, under the shade of a palm tree. The area is corded of with an orange rope, and there is axe throwing (no worries--plastic access) and cornhole. We ordered antipasto salad, a white cheddar cheeseburger with chips, and, of course, the Labubu mocktail. We enjoyed all! read more

Was so happy to see that they had vegan options available. Their menu is quite varied and I liked that there was something for everyone. I even noticed that they were quite thoughtful like a water-bowl for dogs, etc. This place is a nice place to hangout by the beach and the playground is just next to it. Came for the first time because it looked cute and menu looked good. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my friend got the al pastor burrito. We waited for around 35 minutes to get the food even though it wasn't busy and only had two people waiting before us. The food wasn't bad but there are definitely other good or better burritos/quesadillas within the same price range. We also asked for a side of avocado and didn't receive it. When we got there, there were only two other parties seated. The guy at the window told us he'd be right with us to take our order -- no big deal, he came back about 7 minutes later. We placed our order, paid for parking (45 minutes), and got settled in thinking breakfast would be out soon. Big mistake. It took almost 50 minutes for two breakfast burritos to come out. I know because I had to add another 25 minutes to my parking just waiting for the food. When the burritos finally arrived, they looked nothing like the ones promoted on their social media. They were small, flat, and looked like they were missing half the ingredients. Considering they only have one breakfast burrito and a vegan version on the menu, it's not like we ordered the wrong thing. Overall, the experience was just bad from start to finish -- painfully slow service, underwhelming food, and definitely not worth the time or money. Love this spot! It's a perfect blend of scenic views, hearty and freshly cooked food, and a spot for a casual drink after a nice walk on the beach. It is a bit pricey but that's not surprising given that it's literally on the sand (warning: chairs and tables are indeed on the sand, dress appropriately) and since it's freshly made it takes about 15 minutes to get your food (so get a drink while you wait or read a book). This is my distraction place since I jog along the beach and this is at either my 1.9mils or 4.9mils - tempting to stop by for a cup of joe or some breakfast sandwiches...the joint is right on the sand and on the beach plus next to parking lot, restrooms, rental place and kid's playground. Also it is tiny distance away from the LB museum. The seating is on the sand and got several games and the view of the Pacific Ocean and under palm trees. Also you can see the Queen Mary plus any cruise ship that dock right next to it. Service is great & friendly, and if you expecting fast service, this wouldn't be the place since it's more of the layback, chill, relax type of place. Decided to stop by here for lunch after dropping some friends off in Long Beach. This is a small and casual restaurant right on the beach. Food was good overall. Really enjoyed the quesadilla with the spicy sauce that came with it. The cheese steaks were good but not great. My friend felt the chicken one missed the mark and could have been seasoned better. The chips that came with the cheese steaks were crispy and not oily. Service was quick and friendly. There's a large metered parking lot right next to the spot. We had a beach day with a friend recently and she grabbed us coffees from this spot when we first arrived. Their iced coffee is SO GOOD!! And silly me forgot to pack lunch. At around 2pm me and my daughter were getting hangry. So I walked over to this spot to pick up some food. I got my daughter a cheese quesadilla and I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. Really bad experience today. I think they have new owners. I ordered a teriyaki bowl. After 45 minutes it still wasn't ready. They told me they were still cooking the rice. I asked for a refund, I paid via apple pay. And the guy at the cash register didn't refund my apple pay, he instead asked me how much I paid including the tip, I had to figure it out, and he just gave me cash back. This place used to be awesome, but unfortunately I don't think the new owners know what they're doing. read more

We used to love this place specifically for their big juicy grass-fed burgers with fresh lettuce and tomato, which you could get with a side of salad or chips. It took a minute, but was worth the wait. Now? New management turned it into a total joke. 25 minutes for pathetic, tiny burgers on cold, gummy, grocery-store buns, with no lettuce, no tomato, no grass-fed beef, no sides. Granted, our two burgers plus a pup patty cost what one burger used to, but the quality's a disgrace. Never going back. So disappointing. The only saving grace was the service. Thanks to Long Beach walking club instagram i got to try this place for the first time! I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. Also, I'm shocked on how affordable the food is... I mean it's a cute shack by the beach!! Oh.... And they sell alcohol. I got to enjoy my meal with a guava mimosa... possibly two haha I hear the breakfasts burrito is a must so I need to come back to see if it's true! Cute brunch spot with lots of space. I went around 4pm on a Saturday. I was surprised that the menu had been so diminished since we already knew what we wanted: a pastrami sandwich with chips and a chicken Caesar wrap with chips. Seemingly half the menu had been cut, and no longer had the choice of Salad or chips. That's fine, I thought. When I tried to order, the music was blaring so loud, it was hard to hear the cashier and vice versa. The space looked a bit disorganized at a glance. We sat down to wait for our order, and tried to enjoy the sunset, but still the music was so loud. We got the Carne Asada Burrito and the Chicken Wrap. The food portions were small and the taste was ok. It was obviously under new management or something and I wanted to give it a fair shot, but it's hard not to compare this place to what I remember it to be. I'm sad to see this place the way it was the other day. I had gone a lot in 2024 but moved in 2025, so I was excited to go on a spur of the moment. Hope to see it get better! read more

We decided to try this place out today and it was great! It's right on the sand and next to a playground. They also have big jenga blocks and cornhole so you can fill up your tummy and also be entertained and keep your kids busy as well. Laura helped us at the counter and was super patient and helpful as we were trying to decide what to order. I ended up getting the breakfast burrito, which was phenomenal. I love how they use a fried egg instead of scrambled eggs. Also, I switched out the bacon for sausage which was very tasty. Hubby got the pastrami breakfast sandwich which he also enjoyed. And our daughter got the Nut Butter & Jelly sandwich which came on a torta type bread. It was huge! She really liked it also. Overall a really great place and I highly recommend it. read more

Prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good especially for a concession stand style cafe resto on the beach. They don't have fancy coffees but a cafe at lait is fine and they have oat milk. Breakfast sandwich was substantial for the price. Nice little place! read more

This place is so good. Take your shoes off, push your feet into the sand, enjoy a delish beer, get an eyeful from the ocean view, and do yourself a favor and grab a sandwich. Been here multiple times, solo and with the whole fam. Usually skate there or ride our bikes. NOT your usual beach-snack-shack! Kids always get the breakfast burrito and an açaí bowl. Always delish. I'm a fan of the sandwiches. Got a hot pastrami with mustard and pickles recently and it was amazingly tender with LOTS of mustard and pickle in every bite. A beachside cafe on the sand is everything I didn't know I needed here in LA/OC. It's such a great chill spot, plenty of parking, just steps away from the Pacific Ocean. They have corn hole, giant Jenga, a climbing park right next to it. So it's an amazing spot for families and even the pups (they offer unseasoned grilled beef patties!) I got the tofu banh mi with a side salad and a machaca breakfast burrito. Surprisingly, the food was actually pretty impressive, half of me was expecting beach shack quality. The food does take a bit to come out, but it's not fast food here. They serve alcohol, have vegan options, breakfast all day. It's a pretty great spot to relax, enjoy the sound of the beach waves, dig your toes in the sand, and eat/drink. read more

I came here to take part in a beach clean up they sponsor every 4th Saturday of the month. Monica & her partner work with Saltwater Deck to host this event and they provide free coffee after. It's awesome to see a small shop like this sponsor a beach clean up! One thing to note; Tables are in the sand so don't expect anything too fancy here. Oh no! Went from the best vegan breakfast burrito I've ever had to mushy bland and nasty! It used to be spicy and delicious! Perfect amount of baked potato chunks, cilantro, vegan soyrizo and vegan cheese, they must've changed the vegan "meat/soyrizo" to a different brand with no flavor, but also way too much vegan cheese (also bland) one tiny piece of cilantro, and somehow they managed to make the potatoes taste bad too, even their salsa, which I loved, was spicy and delicious is now mild.
