I love the beach, and while Long Beach isn't the beach that I usually go to, I'm so glad I did today. This little gem is right on the beach, just steps from the water. The menu is pretty big and had quite a variety, especially for a place with a walk up order window. There are sandwiches and wraps, salads, breakfast, burritos, ice cream and Italian iced, and even a puppy patty for your dog. Even better, they serve beers, hard seltzers, wine, cocktails, and even champagne. Grab a table in the sun, or, like us, under the shade of a palm tree. The area is corded of with an orange rope, and there is axe throwing (no worries--plastic access) and cornhole. We ordered antipasto salad, a white cheddar cheeseburger with chips, and, of course, the Labubu mocktail. We enjoyed all!

Was so happy to see that they had vegan options available. Their menu is quite varied and I liked that there was something for everyone. I even noticed that they were quite thoughtful like a water-bowl for dogs, etc. This place is a nice place to hangout by the beach and the playground is just next to it. We ordered two vegan burritos and an oat milk coffee. The burrito was very delicious, beyond my expectations. Polite staff. We are definitely visiting them again!!

Great space, accessible prices. Can't beat the view! Love what the owners are doing for the community.

The burrito I went for vs. The burrito I got

When we got there, there were only two other parties seated. The guy at the window told us he'd be right with us to take our order -- no big deal, he came back about 7 minutes later. We placed our order, paid for parking (45 minutes), and got settled in thinking breakfast would be out soon. Big mistake. It took almost 50 minutes for two breakfast burritos to come out. I know because I had to add another 25 minutes to my parking just waiting for the food. When the burritos finally arrived, they looked nothing like the ones promoted on their social media. They were small, flat, and looked like they were missing half the ingredients. Considering they only have one breakfast burrito and a vegan version on the menu, it's not like we ordered the wrong thing. Overall, the experience was just bad from start to finish -- painfully slow service, underwhelming food, and definitely not worth the time or money. I left feeling disappointed and honestly ripped off. (I'm sharing pix of what I went for vs what I got)

Love this spot! It's a perfect blend of scenic views, hearty and freshly cooked food, and a spot for a casual drink after a nice walk on the beach. It is a bit pricey but that's not surprising given that it's literally on the sand (warning: chairs and tables are indeed on the sand, dress appropriately) and since it's freshly made it takes about 15 minutes to get your food (so get a drink while you wait or read a book). Perfectly between Gaucho and Belmont Brew if you want to do a beach walking beer/food tour!

Been here a couple times when they 1st opened and they're still here. This is my distraction place since I jog along the beach and this is at either my 1.9mils or 4.9mils - tempting to stop by for a cup of joe or some breakfast sandwiches...the joint is right on the sand and on the beach plus next to parking lot, restrooms, rental place and kid's playground. Also it is tiny distance away from the LB museum. The seating is on the sand and got several games and the view of the Pacific Ocean and under palm trees. Also you can see the Queen Mary plus any cruise ship that dock right next to it. Service is great & friendly, and if you expecting fast service, this wouldn't be the place since it's more of the layback, chill, relax type of place. There is a sign that said "we don't make fast food, we make great food as fast as we can." Quality wise, not bad at all. Price

Love this place so much! The locations is beautiful and sits right on the beach. Always great music they often play thievery corporation and bob marley! The service is great, prices are right and love the food! My personal fave is the beef bowl it's fresh and served over rice with steamed veggies.

Decided to stop by here for lunch after dropping some friends off in Long Beach. This is a small and casual restaurant right on the beach. Food was good overall. Really enjoyed the quesadilla with the spicy sauce that came with it. The cheese steaks were good but not great. My friend felt the chicken one missed the mark and could have been seasoned better. The chips that came with the cheese steaks were crispy and not oily. Service was quick and friendly. There's a large metered parking lot right next to the spot. Overall, this is a good spot for a casual lunch during a day at the beach.

We had a beach day with a friend recently and she grabbed us coffees from this spot when we first arrived. Their iced coffee is SO GOOD!! And silly me forgot to pack lunch. At around 2pm me and my daughter were getting hangry. So I walked over to this spot to pick up some food. I got my daughter a cheese quesadilla and I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. Their little patio seating area is so nice. Great location. The service was fairly quick and the gal at the order window was nice.

    An amazing find

Under new management, no longer have the Soju Marg. Music is way too loud, could barely order. Not sure what they are doing. Hope they figure it out.

This spot has always been one of our go-tos, but last night? They absolutely *knocked it out of the park*! The food was on point, but the real MVP was our server, Susanna. We didn't have to lift a finger--she was right there, anticipating our every need with a smile that could light up the night! Now, let's talk about the food. The chimichanga? *Game changer.* It's officially my new go-to. I'm pretty sure it could win awards for its deliciousness! And don't even get me started on the s'mores dip--get it before it disappears! I'm convinced it's made from magic and happiness, and it tastes like childhood wrapped in a warm, gooey blanket. This place popped up, and it was happy hour. So we thought why not. We got lucky and found parking close (rare for that street). And walked over and immediately loved the vibe. We walked in and were greeted immediately, and then brought upstairs. The decor on the way up was awesome. The old school nature, with paintings and abstract vintage pieces.. love. It felt like we were in an old industrial building. We were surprised that it was pretty empty when we got up there. We sat at the bar, and love the decor upstairs too. There's a view of the street from up there as well that's beautiful. The bartender greeted us fairly quickly, and we each ordered a speciality cocktail on their happy hour. Both were delicious. The gumbo was less flavorful and if you are used to more flavorful gumbos then this one isn't for you. It it's more tamed. The rice was a little dry. It tasted like it could come from a package. The best part was the meat serving. The eggs Benedict were perfect. I loved the lemon salad that was served with it. The cut inside the eggs was great and cooked well. I would come back just to try more entrees. Avoid the biscuits unless you have them with gravy. Then let us know. The place is small with outside and inside seating. Visually, the burger was impressive and looked exactly like something you'd want to dig into. However, the salt level was overwhelming to the point where I genuinely could not finish it. What made matters worse was that our server was not attentive with refilling our waters, and when you're working through an extremely salty dish, hydration isn't optional. I left the meal feeling dehydrated and honestly a little frustrated. The bright spot of the visit was the Brussels sprouts, which were genuinely well done and showed some real kitchen care. If I were to return, I'd probably stick to the vegetable sides. For a restaurant with a 4 PM lull and minimal table traffic, there's no excuse for that level of inattentiveness. A simple water refill and a quick check in would have saved the experience. As it stands, the combination of an over salted entrée and absent service made for a tough sell on the value. If you're in the area craving a burger, you might want to save your money and head down the street to Louis Burger instead. Ellie's may shine in other areas; I've heard good things about the pasta, but this particular visit missed the mark.

We had a reservation for six and the hostess greeted us and sat us right away. Our server, Nate, was fantastic. He knew the menu and answered all of our questions. He even explained how some of the drinks were made. Later we found out he was actually one of the bartenders helping out as a server for the night. Which made sense considering how well he knew how the drinks were made. He was attentive and checked on us often to make sure everything was going well. One thing that made him stand out was, he actually conversed with us rather than just asking if we needed anything and then leaving. The Old Fashioned was one of the smoothest and best I've probably ever had. My nephew ordered the Ube Painkiller after Nate described how it was made. I had a sip, and the ube flavor really came through without overpowering the drink and it was perfectly matched with the dark rum, which Nate said came from the Caribbean. The Brussels sprouts had a nice mix of tender and crispy pieces that gave additional texture. The calamari was tender and the pesto style sauce paired real good with it. The Thai curry sea bass was flavorful, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. The cioppino had a rich shellfish flavor in the broth and I appreciated that the tomato base didn't have such an acidic taste. We also shared the tomahawk, which was juicy, cooked perfectly, and had a sprinkle of coarse salt that really brought out the flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. Happy hour was happening which we took advantage of. It was 4.00 off appetizer, 2.00 off draft wine and beer. Also, they made sure that our little pup was well taken care of as well. Food wise, an order of the poke wrap. Nice chunks of ahi with a scoop of rice, lettuce, avocado and wasabi sauce. It was good but a little messy. As it would be with all of the lettuce wraps. The steamed mussels which is a must. The broth was delicious and served with two nice thick slices of toasted bread. Decent size mussels cooked deliciously in the broth. A must try. Lastly the calamari which was tossed with jalapeños. Both deep fried and quite tasty. Nice crunch to it but not overly cooked. That was also served with two dipping sauce. Everything was delicious. Towards the end of the meal, Melinda noticed that a bug was in my wine which she was very sweet about and made sure to take care of it. The simple little gesture was greatly appreciative. The whole experience was excellent. Everyone was the sweetest and friendliest. Will definitely be back.
