I love this place. My boyfriend and I work nights sometimes and this is our Go to when we're off and hungry. They open late and they have a great variety of options. Our go to is the spicy seafood soup . Portions are huge so one is good enough for the both of us. Service is great. They're sweet, quick and attentive. They even gave us a free sake bottle. I wanted to try Nolza for a while and finally got the chance to. It is very hectic and chaotic. The servers are overwhelmed. We waited 2 hours for the pork belly and it was not good. When we tried to cancel the order, our server kept telling us it's on the way. To her credit she did say it was a long wait. We got there within an hour of opening and it was already busy. It's a fun atmosphere but that's about it. We tried the brisket with bean sprouts. It was decent, spicy, but nothing too spectacular. Overall we were very disappointed with our visit here. read more

Although it sucked to have to move everything the server that informed us was really nice about it and even gave us a free bottle. We ordered fries and chicken gizzard. Both excellent!! Paired really well from the soju. The restroom is in the back along with a photo booth. They have props you can use and have fun with in the photo booth. I went on a Thursday night around 7:30pm and there were several parking spots left in their lot and it was decently busy inside. It got busier as the night went on. Ambiance, service, and food are all a 10/10. I truly have never had better chicken skewers and tteokbokki in my life, even in Asia. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had. My group only needed one table, yet we waited over 40 minutes while multiple dirty tables sat empty. Every time we asked, we were told, "Just a few more minutes." No one could give us a real wait time. The "we're busy" excuse didn't match what we were seeing. Employees were chatting with people they appeared to know, taking their time, and one server was even outside smoking while customers continued waiting. Meanwhile, tables remained empty and uncleaned. The biggest issue was the complete lack of communication and the dismissive attitude. We checked in with several servers, but no one seemed to know what was going on. Instead of communicating with each other, it felt like the responsibility was pushed back onto the customer to remind them that we were still waiting. When I finally expressed our frustration with the lack of communication and dismissive service, the cashier/manager patted me on the shoulder and said, "Bro, don't be mad." I'm a customer--not your "bro." I never yelled or raised my voice. Touching a customer without permission and speaking to them that way was completely inappropriate. After I asked him not to touch me, we were simply told to leave. We left immediately and went to Haus Lounge, where the service was night and day compared to this place. I don't want this business to fail--I genuinely hope management improves the customer service. But after this experience, I won't be coming back. read more

Camela was our server tonight and she was super hospitable and very good with guiding us on our meal choices since this was our first time. My friends and boyfriend loved the chicken skewers and the calamari was excellent fresh quality according to the boyfriend of mine. I enjoyed a traditional rice cake that was vegan. Must stop by to enjoy your favorite Korean dishes and listen to k-pop music. Try the Squid Mulhod! It come with ice which was surprising! The salads was crunch and so refreshing. I loved the octopus pieces. They also added oyster but I was not a fan of the oyster. The BBQ pork belly was so good. It was not fatty and had a lot of meat. I loved the charcoal flavor. It came in 5 big pieces so three people could have share it. The Spicy fish roe soup was another favorite. I would just come back for this soup. It tasted so good with rice. The 3 sauces that I came with was good too. 2) BBQ pork ribs were delicious and I don't usually like pork. The owner, whom I have known for a long time, said that she opened a restaurant in Buena Park, but since the opening time is 5 PM, it was difficult to find the time to visit, so I couldn't visit. However, she recently changed the opening time and opened for lunch, so I visited last week. I had Rosé Tteokbokki, So-tteok So-tteok, and Sweet Potato Fries, and the food was all good. One thing I wish could be improved is the decoration and interior. Came here for brunch today. The place is so artsy and fun! The individual booths have personalized decor and we sat in the one with the Iron Man mural. We ordered the seafood soup, soy garlic fried chicken, rice cake and sausage skewers. The soup was so flavorful with just the right amount of kick. It was loaded with shrimp, squid, mussels, and mushrooms and the udon was tender. The chicken had a nice crisp and the meat was juicy and soft. The soy garlic sauce had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The skewers were a nice snack item and the rice cake that came with it had a nice crunch outside and chewy inside. Everything was delicious the calamari was addicting and paired well with the tteokbokki (had fish cake, shrimp, bacon and sausage). Ambiance: super unique! U can write on the walls and they provide the markers, kpop music with kpop performance projected on the wall. Has indoor and out door seating. Has its own parking and street parking. Place Is at a residential looks like it was a home converted into a restaurant/bar. Lots of pretty lights! Love the use of alcohol bottles with led light strings on the booths it was very pretty and innovative way to light up the place. Not busy on a weekday night but opens late so great for late night bites. Amazing customer Service: seems like very mom and pop shop. And they gave us salad to try but we were so stuffed with jus the two orders we couldnt even finish the complementary salad. The lady wanted us to try the salad and i think they mayb thinking of adding it to their menu and wanted our opinion. This is one of my favorite pochas to go to! It is almost never too busy, but just the right amount of people where it feels lively. Surprisingly the food is quite good here, which is rare for most bars/pochas I feel like. We got the cheese fries, the mussel soup, the rose tteokbokki, kimchi fried rice, and more. Everything has always been so delicious! And, of course the drinks. We especially enjoyed the watermelon with soju. Service can be a bit slow depending on what day you go...so be prepared to flag down the waiter multiple times! There is also a photobooth towards the back that is quite nice. This location has changed names so many times. This time it is a barbecue and grill bar. I really like this place and I keep coming back because of the location. It is hidden inside the residential area, but is also private because he has tall trees hiding the building. I really like their outdoor patio seating that is very well maintained and lit up at night. It looks very nice at night time. With all the trees blocking the views of the streets, it feels like a backyard kind of. The food is on the pricey side, but the portion is shareable size. We had the fried chicken with soy garlic and the regular fried chicken. The portion was good and it was delicious. We also had rice cakes skewer, was really good as well. Leslie, we had thief french fries but that's just you know french fries. The ambience is a bit noisy because it is a bar obviously. There are booths inside with high back for privacy. There is a photo booth inside, which is kind of cute. The Service was very friendly and fast. I would definitely come back and hang out with my friends. The best Pocha combo I've seen so far, both pricewise and quality wise. $90 for 3 soju, 3 terras, and 2 sodas, along with a salad snd soup of your choice is as impressive as it gets, especially when comparing to other pochas. The music was pretty fire, with DPR, Bibi, and more, and the ambiance felt incredibly easygoing. You have free reign with the markers on any surface, the service is pretty responsive and super friendly, but the FOOD WAS PRETTY AMAZING. The salad had a light yogurty peppery sauce with fried potato sticks, but the SPICY SEAFOOD SOUP was incredible. After yapping for 30 minutes, everyone went silent to enjoy the super flavorful soup, There was depth to the flavor--the seafood base, and something reminiscent of a shin packet, but it was excellent. Between the udon and the meaty mussels, this was well worth the bang for your buck. Highly recommend for a good time, but also remember to check out the games they have! First impression, am I making the right turn? Seems like I'm going into a neighborhood, but the restaurant is really here! Fairly large restaurant with a cool and chill atmosphere. Each table had a different neon light and the wall decoration with the music almost felt club like. First impression, cool spot to bring friends to eat and drink. Water came in a nice fancy bottle with complimentary nachos with cheese. To view the menu, it's QR code based, but I wish there was images of the food when viewing the menu on their website. I guess you'll have to rely on yelp images for now to see what you'll be getting! Calamari $13.99 The Calamari came in 2 large pieces, lightly fried. The server will ask how you prefer the pieces to be chopped, so you can decide whether you want large, medium or small pieces. I honestly preferred calamari in small pieces with a heavier batter, but everyone has their own ways. Overall I would have enjoyed it if it was chopped and battered into small pieces vs in whole and then chopping it up. Not enough batter for my likings, but as mentioned earlier some people may enjoy the less batter and more squid like natural taste. It also comes with a sweet & sour dipping sauce. If you like your calamari with lemon, you can also request this. Stir Fried Brisket with Bean Sprouts $19.99 This tasted pretty healthy if you're looking to watch your carb limits as the bean sprouts replace the typical noodles. This was solid to share with two and I'd watch out for the chilis pieces within the dish, it has a kick! As for taste, it reminded me of Thai Boat Soup noodle if you've ever had that bowl of soup at Thai joints, but with no soup. Solid portions of meat, but overall bean sprouts overpowered the dish. Chicken Skewers $13.99 This came with 2 skewers with chopped pieces of chicken, whole garlic and green onions topped with a delicious sauce with sesame seeds. Solid plate, but a bit pricey for two skewers. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, the music was chill (if you're looking for a quiet place, this will not be where you want to come). The service was really friendly and cool. Currently the Check-in is a free soda. We also ordered some flavored Jinro Soju(strawberry & grape). I was looking for some good in the Buena Park area and found this spot on Yelp. Korean food, K-pop and graffiti all in one place. Okay, it's not graffiti, they give you color markers that you get to tag or draw on your table and chairs. You walk in and it's like walking into some mystic place. Ordered, LA style Korean bbq ribs, fish soup and the fried chicken. While waiting for the food, I got caught up on many K-pop groups and songs. The fried chicken came out first and was a good start to the meal. Crispy, salted moist chicken. Then came the fish cake soup. This was okay but not really my type of soup. I told the server the soup was okay but i like my food spicy. She came back and hooked me up some lots of chilies and added noodles to the soup. Now, the soup was so much better. The last dish to come out was the LA BBQ Korean ribs. I had high hopes for this dish as it took quite a long time to come out. Korean BBQ ribs are also one of my favorite foods, but I was underwhelmed. The meat was moist and lightly seasoned but it didn't live up to my expectations. I was looking for a little more aggressive seasoning or marinated longer. The server (sorry I forgot her name) really made the experience special. She really wanted me to come back. She was dedicated to making the visit memorable. With little extras and a playful sassiness. Overall, the food, the experience and the music made for an enjoyable dinner.
