The brunch here was delicious and will definitely come back. Everything was tasty. I wish my drink (Going Bananas cocktail)could've been just a tad stronger especially for its $18 pricetag. They used hazelnut to substitute one of the items missing in the cocktail. The lemon ricotta pancakes were thick, fluffy, and airy. I'm in love (must have).The French Toast were huge and stuffed with Nutella and topped with Banana and nuts. The burger was cooked to my liking. For the 9 Crosby Sandwich I was told it was good and very filling. They also loaded with a lot of guacamole. They don't not skimp on their guacamole here. My burger was also served with a decent amount of fresh guacamole. Everyone was stuffed and content with their food.We couldn't finish it. The ambiance is nice and I love the vine entryway. Will love to come back to try other foods here. P.S. I came her for my cousin's birthday and was told they didn't have a table for 10 but then opted for 6 people. Overall the ambiance and aesthetic is the reason to come! No doubt it's a beautiful interior. The best thing we got was the Pappardelle pasta with lamb and whipped ricotta, that was amazing. So I would say this is definitely better than your average restaurant hotel. We had Sunday brunch and weekday lunch. And out of the 2, Sunday brunch is hands down the better of the 2. For brunch, ricotta pancake is absolutely fantastic, Nutella French toast is really good, avocado toast and peach salad are both good. Their coffee is from Lavazza beans, which is my favorite coffee bean, so it is really good. As far as weekday lunch, wasn't memorable at all, standard lunch fare. I ordered the pappardelle, which I was my first time eating this dish, so I will have nothing to compare it to but it was delicious and very creamy. We ordered appetizers for the table. As for drinks I had three different drinks and I liked all of them. I would come here again, but definitely for brunch next time. I started off with the octopus. How delicious. The tenderness of the octopus was A1. The sauce around it was interesting, not bad but hmm different. I had the lobster pasta dish (I forget the name). This was fantastic. Something different and so well done. I was very impressed. Highly recommended. I also got to try some of my date's short rib which was the special of the night. Fantastic. I went to NOMO Kitchen for dinner and ordered the Ravioli. It had a duck ragu filling, which was good but didn't actually taste that special. The Parmesan cheese added some flavor, though the sauce underneath did not add much. There seemed to be a bit of a sweetness on the ravioli (possibly lemon juice), which I think detracted a bit from the potential savoriness of the ravioli. This being said, there was one main problem with the dish: there were only 4 ravioli! For $22, I surely deserved more than 4!! I'm a very slow eater and even I was able to finish this dish in only a few minutes. On a positive note, this restaurant is beautiful. The interior is super photogenic with nice walls and chandeliers. There is also a pretty walkway with vines overhead when walking into the restaurant from the outside. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The service speed was good. Overall, the main reason to come to NOMO Kitchen is just for the photos of the place. The actual food is not that good of a value. The ambiance is A+. The decor has a major attention to detail with a nice semi open space concept. There are multiple chandeliers hanging throughout the greenhouse style restaurant. I only wish I could have sat in the patio but it was cold and raining outside. Next, I came for brunch and the food is very good however I have to mention their avocado toast is served differently here. It literally a whole sliced avocado laid neatly on a large piece of toast. Lastly the Service was a B+. The floor managers were amazing but our waitress wasn't great. She forgot to bring another menu, she forgot my partner's drink, she forgot the lemons with the water and she forgot to put my avocado toast order in. I really wish I remember the name of the woman at the door who was SO rude to our party due to discrepancies in the reservation time and our ability to dine. Your service to your customers is just as important at how you are greeted when you first arrive. We were later helped by (I believe her name is Adriana) who was able to accommodate our party of 8. The food here is really good. We enjoyed a few appetizers on the table including the chicken kale salad, pretzels, octopus, and cauliflower. All really flavorful. I ordered the strip steak and it was delicious. I would say the drinks are a bit more on the expensive side for what's actually provided. (Small glasses or barely filled) I ordered an old fashioned and there was barely any drink in my glass. I started out with the Immunitini cocktail, which was so good! I love ginger beer, so pairing it with blueberry and blackberry gave it a nice touch. The candied pistachios were delicious, and I would honestly come back here just for the pancakes again. The salad was nothing special. It wasn't bad, but didn't stand out to me. I requested that my egg be cooked completely and there was no problem with that. The dish was enjoyable, however the piece of steak was quite small, especially compared to the potatoes. It looked like there was more potato than steak. Besides that, the steak was very tasty. It was a tad on the toiugh side, but overall, wonderfully juicy and the chimichurri sauce that covered it was incredibly well seasoned. It went perfectly with the steak and elevated the yumminess. The potatoes were pretty good - Flavorful, soft, fresh. My friend had the lemon ricotta pancakes and I was able to try a little. Absolutely delicious! The pancakes had a cake-like consistency and served warm with powdered sugar, maple syrup, strawberries, blueberries and a sprinkling of candied pistachios. They were extremely fluffy and didn't need any additional syrup. For brunch, the prices are decent and perhaps even a little below standard prices in the area. Service was solid. I had brunch here when family was visiting, and it was pretty terrible. The food was bland, service was abysmal, and the whole place seemed to be operating like a glorified cafeteria. A waiter dropped a glass right near our table and shards of glass went all over between my legs. He walked away without cleaning it up, and a few minutes later, someone else came over with a broom, practically moving in slow motion sweeping. I had to pick up pieces of the glass from around my shoes and place them on the table so they wouldn't get embedded in the soles. Not a fan of beets whatsoever; however I did not mind this salad At all. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was! The octopus was good too! For my main entree, I had the pan seared salmon which isn't anything to rave about other than it was cooked well. The vegetables were quite bland. It's a very large space. We sat inside which was perfect since most diners sat in the garden so it was intimate. It felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Wandering around the area I stumbled upon Nomo Kitchen. Gorgeous space. I stopped in for dinner so I can only imagine what a pretty summer day looks like. I sat at the bar and ordered a Daisy Cukes and Nomo Burger. Everything was underwhelming. The burger had to be the most bland burger I had ever eaten in my life. I ate a few bites and gave up because no amount of ketchup or garlic aioli could save it. The bun was thick and dry, I asked for it cooked medium and that's about all they got right. Regardless that wasn't enough for me to take time out of my day to write a review. It was the lack of service or even an attempt to recover me as a customer that left me flabbergasted. When Emma the bartender eventually waltzed over to me 30mins after I got my food and asked if everything was ok, I told her exactly how I felt and her response was simply "I'm sorry about that" before she waltzed off and went over to have a conversation with another employee for about 20mins. I eventually asked a server to get her attention so I could pay and leave. As a hospitality professional myself I was very disappointed.
