We had a reservation and were seated shortly upon arrival. I have to say out of the 2 dishes we split, the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are a must! I loved the subtle tanginess from the ricotta and lemon and it was the right level of sweetness with the maple syrup and ricotta sauce. They were thick, soft, and crispy on the outside. The Steak & Eggs was super mediocre. I would skip it. The steak lacks any seasoning and the romesco sauce didn't really help. The cornbread was dry so I stopped after a couple bites. I had passed by and was struck by how beautiful the flowers and greenery were at the entrance. I brought my wife there for dinner after an event down the block and fell in love with the place. You walk through an entry of arched trellises brimming with vines and flowers, transporting you immediately from the bustle of the city. We sat in the large dining room that was spacious, with a skylight that ran the length of it. The food lived up to the surroundings. We started with the tomato, mozzarella and garlic flatbread, then ordered the chicken pesto sandwich, bucatini bolognese and a side of fingerling potatoes. Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious! We ended with a fabulous strawberry rhubarb tart. This is a great place to come for brunch, lunch or dinner. Tables are spaced out enough that you don't feel crowded nor does the staff rush you through your meal. It's casual but elegant. Grand space with IG-worthy entrance decor, the eatery is a part of the hotel and you have to go around the lobby in order to access the establishment. Plenty of seating when we stopped by but we were placed at the front of the place where foot traffic is coming and going. We sat for a very long time before flagging down for service while other tables were getting water and orders taken quicker than us even though they arrived after us. We stuck with the standard a.k.a. pancakes and french toast. The pancakes were fluffy and great but the French toast was a huge letdown since it was too dry. I wouldn't come back for the food nor for pictures, but maybe the hotel upstairs is worth the visit? read more

Drinks: * Too Hot to Handle: casamigos blanco, ancho reyes chile liqueur, pineapple, jalapeño syrup, lime, habanero shrub - very strong! * Coastin: brugal 1888 rum, chinola passion fruit, cocolopez, lemon, cinnamon.   watered down, so not strong but enjoyed the flavor profile! * Immunitini (zero-proof mocktail): hibiscus, thyme, lime juice, ginger ale - at first wayyyyyy too much ice, esp for non-alcoholic, fresh drink. Tasted like water. After requesting less ice and additional juice, my server brought it back with just one huge ice cube and it was way better, very good! He didn't add flavor just made it new without the bottom to top crushed ice. The food was pretty good, tasty. Appetizers: We ordered the garlic shrimp and crab croquette appetizers. The shrimp was pretty good but to sparse for me, with only 3 shrimp. The garlic butter sauce was really good though, we saved and used it in our entrees. My counterparts enjoyed the croquettes alot! I didn't love them because there was too much squid ink for my liking. Entrees: * Half Chicken - VERY filling, I took half of it to go. But it was well-seasoned, the vegetables were perfect..I was happy! * Whole Trout - my friend enjoyed it with exception of some oon bones she had to pick out. * Mac & Cheese side was amazing! We ordered drinks and it took over 30 minutes to get them, mind you they were not busy, just too busy chatting with themselves. My steak got overcooked, they remade it and it still was overcooked. My potatoes needed salt and the poached egg presentation was sad. They also didn't cook the eggs right because normally they're runny and they were cooked through. I thought they were butters in the presentation shown in this review! This spot is inside a hotel and has a airy hipster aesthetic. I'd come back to try something else though. Come here purely for the aesthetics and not anything else. The food is below subpar, prices are insanely expensive for what it is (almost $20 for a salad excluding protein. Want protein? Add an additional $12-18). It's a beautiful restaurant that's incredibly Instagram and Pinterest-famous, but I would not come here for the weekday lunch menu. The brunch looks pretty good, but unfortunately, we were only in the city for a few days. I ordered a margherita pizza, and it came out much smaller than expected. It wasn't hot when I took a bite, and our food took a really long time to come out. It's hard to flag down a waiter even when there's barely anyone else in the restaurant, and you have to ask multiple times for them to finally bring out everyone's food and condiments. read more

Great brunch spot in the City. Upon arrival there a beautiful archway with flowers and wall arts. The restaurant is located inside Nomo hotel, with beautiful and spacious lobby. We were greeted right away by the hostess, who sat us down without. The waitress was prompt and attentive. My friend and I shared the salmon toast, very tasty. We also shared the lemon ricotta pancakes, foodgasm in the mouth. It was made to perfection with the berries. My friend had the steak and eggs, he loved it. I had the roasted tomatoes and basil flatbread pizza. Everything was good, the decorations inside is aesthetically pleasing with a beautiful chandelier. Very bright to the glass ceiling. Visited NOMO Kitchen for my cousins birthday on a Saturday for brunch. This spot is absolutely beautiful! The interior is just as beautiful as the exterior. If you love to take photos, you'll get the perfect lighting for sure. My cousin made a reservation ahead of time and we were able to be seated in less than 10 minutes. Anywhere you sit is a photo op. There's cute backgrounds and beautiful chandeliers. We were immediately greeted by our waitress who was amazing! She had a personable personality and you can tell she wore a smile through her mask. We decided to order mimosas; $20 for one glass and $65 for a carafe. CRAZY! I've never seen prices for champagne and orange juice so high EVER. Since it was my cousins birthday, we decided to order the carafe which gave all 3 of us around 2 mimosas each. Granted, the glasses were bigger than the normal champagne glasses but the price still isn't justified even for NYC. For my entree, I ordered the kale salad (kept it light) and my cousins ordered the fried chicken biscuit and the burger. Yes, I paid $18 for a kale salad LOL. My cousin had to send back her fried chicken biscuit because she wasn't sure if she would be allergic to the sauce on the chicken. They took the plate back and stated another one would come out shortly. After around 30 minutes, the fried chicken biscuit came out but the chicken was pink in the middle. We should've taken it off the bill but we were ready to leave. There was a long wait when it came to paying for the bill but it was understandable because our waitress was handling a difficult table behind us. Honestly, this place is nice for photos since the ambiance and lighting is A1 but the food wasn't all that and it's very expensive. Granted, we were dining in NYC. Just for my meal, I paid $55+ which included my portion of the $65 mimosa carafe, a kale salad plus tax and tip. I came to NOMO for Sunday afternoon brunch. The ambiance and aesthetic is SO gorgeous and instagram-friendly. I recommend making a reservation on Resy beforehand in order to avoid a wait, especially on the weekends. We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, eggs your way (turkey bacon, potatoes, eggs, and toast), and tomato & basil flatbread. The pancakes were delicious and super fluffy! It came with fruit and a glaze on top. The tomato and basil flatbread was good, nothing to complain about. Eggs your way was standard brunch food, not sure if I'd order it again for the price. The downfall of this restaurant is the service. It took at least 10-15 minutes to get a waiter to notice us each time we needed something. At the end of our meal, we had one of three pancakes left and wanted to bring it home for later. The waiter said " You want me to get a bag for THIS?" It was extremely rude and my whole party was taken aback by it. No one should question what you do with your leftovers, ESPECIALLY if you're paying for it. i think it's nice to come here once to take some pictures and eat but it definitely wouldn't be my go-to brunch spot due to the service. read more

Very upscale and stylish space and the food and drinks were really good. We started out at the bar with a drink since we were early for our dinner reservation. we were dining indoors at the height of Covid and they had all the protocols needed in place. There was a lot of space in between the tables and all the wait staff were masked. They made sure that we were on time for our reservation and they also gave us a warning when we had about 10 minutes to close up and go over to a table. So I will say that their customer service and wait staff is really good. We tried the fish as well as the soup for the evening. The menu changes fairly frequently but I will say all the food was very delicious and extremely well prepared. I will definitely come back again to try a few of their other options, it was just that we didn't have too much time to spend at dinner. come here for a lovely evening. read more

There are great details in the furniture, the graffiti wall art, the skylight showing the tenement style houses nearby, and the local artwork on the walls. You can't help taking great photos here, especially during the walk in under the vine covered archway! Food: 3 out of 5. Meh. The 5 spice chicken was thin and over cooked, but the bacon and cabbage saved the dish. The chicken palliard was mostly lightly dressed salad with thin chicken breast meat and four tiny slivers of cheese. The apple crumb cobbler was ok, semi sweet and too much liquid. Drinks: 4 out of 5. We only had the cinnamon sticks reposado drink, but it was tasty! For $22, you would hope it would be a little bigger but if you imagine you are there for people watching and artwork, you won't cringe at the price. Service: 2 out of 5. Slow service and the food did not come out in any logical order. I got my 5 spice first, 10 minute later we got our palliard, and before we finished the palliard we got our cobbler dessert. The place was adorned with flowers and leaves and the interior was set in a greenhouse with chandeliers dropping from above. I ordered the brisket benny and a coffee. The Benedicts were HUGE. The English muffin was loaded with brisket, seasoned with onions and red peppers, which was then topped with a poached egg. The entire bite was super flavorful and the salad on the side paired perfectly. Usually I don't love Benedicts but this one definitely hit the spot. The French toast was great . It was thick but perfectly cooked not soggy on the inside and the sweetness was not overpowering. Came here for my friend's birthday brunch and it was very underwhelming. This place has all the nice aesthetics for pictures, but the food is below average. I got the eggs Benedict and my bf ordered the steak and eggs. My eggs were over cooked so it wasn't jammy and runny plus my potatoes were not crispy how I like them :/ Their potatoes are more like oven baked rather than deep fried. My bf ordered his steak medium rare but it was more like well done. Our friends ordered a burger with fries which looked really yummy. Our table also ordered some type of flatbread that was good. This place is Magical Located in the Nomo SoHo Hotel. This gorgeous restaurant is literally an escape from reality. From the flush green entryway to the glass ceiling with chandeliers...you feel like you're in a gorgeous greenhouse eating in an open and airy patio. If you think that they sacrificed flavor for aesthetics you're completely wrong. From my first bite of their garlic shrimp to the tender wagyu steak au poivre, everything was perfectly seasoned like a symphony in my mouth have to finish I have to finish this stupid report I hate getting reportslol. I was actually shocked by how fresh and delicious everything was. The drinks were delicious, the food was plated beautifully food and I ranted about all of it to my friends and family when I left . I think this is a classy place to celebrate or enjoy a day with great brunch and happy hour specials as well as the delicious dinner that I enjoyed. For my birthday my family and I decided to do brunch in the city and this was sort of within a hotel but had really nice decorations and a unique and crave inducing menu. We sort of decided to go here last minute and there was plenty of tables that were empty without having a reservation. Has a nice bar, they play some good music and with a glass roof it has a comforting and nice scenic view. The steak and eggs were amazing, juicy tender steak with eggs done anyway you want them. That little jalapeño bread thing was so good, a very light hint of spice but a nice moist bread with a light crunchy top. I got a little bite of the French toast and it was super good, the banana and cream stuff on the side was tasty and not too sweet. Honestly I would definitely love to come back it's just a little on the pricier end but really nice brunch spot. read more

The interior and exterior of this place is so lovely! They get so much natural lighting - perfect for photos! Had a reservation for the weekend and the place gets packed but I did not see any waiting lines. Food was pretty standard for brunch - nothing outstanding or memorable, though. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - 4/5 - Decent portion, flavorful, good texture. Good brunch item. Eggs Benedict - 4/5 - Cooked perfectly and served with a good sauce and some bread. Not filling enough for the price paid. French Toast - 4/5 - Sweet and made to perfection - just nothing special. Avocado Toast - 3.5/5 - Bread and avocado is delicious - topped with some sunflower seeds and pomegranate seeds that gives it a little sweetness. Good item to order but honestly nothing special that I would order again. I would definitely come back for the photos/ambiance, but nothing on the menu is memorable enough for me to return for the food. I would like to try the pizza/burgers on the menu if I ever return. The ambiance and decor are absolutely gorgeous. It's what drew us in. There's an archway leading into the hotel with gorgeous flowers along the side. Even inside of the restaurant is very cool with chandeliers, graffiti, heart art and a beautiful bar. The problem is the food does not match the decor. Very bland and mediocre. Steak was ok. Lots of photo-ops available in the Rose Garden, the walkway entrance and the dining area itself. Drinks are a little pricey but I found the food to be reasonably priced with generous portions.
