I always get the Carne Asada Street Tacos, they are so incredibly flavorful and I love all the toppings, sauces and salsas. I have visited this new location twice, and it has been a great experience both times. The customer service is always great and the food is very good too. My last time visiting, I tried the super nachos. They were quite good, but I do wish that after putting the cheese on the chips they would toss them in the oven to melt the cheese. It's hard to be overly excited about a bunch of corn chips with melted cheese. That being said, the toppings were excellent and the nachos were still very tasty. But come on, seriously, nachos need melted cheese! Maskadores Tacos Ordered the 5 street taco plate, one with fish and one with carna asada, barbacoa. The barbacoa had quite a kick and enjoyed the carna asada. The fish tacos were okay, out of all the 3 tacos, I would reccomend the carna asada tacos. Would recommend giving them a try first on taco Tuesday and seeing which ones you enjoy and then going back once you determine the ones that are your favorite. Greeted warmly as soon as we walked through the door, despite how busy they were. Menu options were explained in a friendly but still fast (never holding up the line) manner. Even taste tests given! Simple menu with lots of meat options. Sort of a "build your own" in that respect with plenty of fresh ingredients for toppings. Taste? Amazing. I love tacos but seldom go somewhere again, due to multiple excellent options in the City. My husband and I both immediately said we'd be back. Only irks... $2.75 for chips and salsa. VERY few chips. Told salsa was on the salsa bar. Ok...so I paid $2.75 for a few chips? Come on, now. Note the tiny sides of salsa for my paid order of chips and salsa!? Questioned what there was to drink and cashier just kind of motioned to the cooler behind him. I purchased a bottle of regular coke (yuck-sugar water) bc it was the best of the bottled options. Didn't know there was a soda fountain as I wasn't offered that or told there was water (which you need in addition to drink choice bc the yumminess is spicy!) This place is legit. Clean bathrooms. Food tasted so good! We had tacos, quesadillas, and chimichanga. It all tasted fresh and delicious. The service was fast, they were friendly, and patient with our kiddos. Overall awesome. We don't go out to eat often anymore (with 3 small kids), but we def agree that we'll come back soon! I am a huge fan of other Maskadores locations, I had some of the best rolled tacos ever at the Tempe location. When I saw this location was opening up I was all too excited.. although it is dangerous for my wallet. After seeing that it is now open, I rushed on over. While a smaller space with room for only a few tables, this location is awesome! Nice and new, lots of blue, all of the tables were clean and the environment welcoming. They have their menu on the wall, you order and allow them to build your tacos/burrito/etc. then pay at the register at the end. They have a solid selection of meat, toppings, and sauce/salsas. I got the rolled tacos (they are potato filled) with carnitas (meat on top), ensuring I got their jalapeño cream sauce on top along with my usual toppings. It is addicting.. truly. My girlfriend got the chipotle chicken four tacos with cheese on top. These are some of her favorite chicken tacos around as the flavor stands on its own, even without salsa or toppings. Again, the best rolled tacos I think I have had. The staff working were super friendly and available for any questions. They even brought us chips and a sample of guacamole and jalapeño cream on the house. The chips were awesome... thin and crispy and hot! Yum. They have a soda machine in the back plus a salsa bar in the front. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the mood for tacos. I know I'll be visiting way too often... read more

The staff are always super friendly and the place is very clean. The meat is prepped for cooking, but is heated right when you order. All the toppings and meat are fresh. Usually you are only allowed two meats for the taco plate but the employee said he would do one of each (for all 4 tacos) since it was slow when I came in, what great service! Make sure to ask what meat and toppings are spicy since it's not listed. Everything here is delicious! I have tried the tacos, tacodillas, and quesadillas, and everything is juicy, flavorful, and tender!! The toppings I got on my tacos were pico de gallo, onions, cilantro, cotija cheese, and cilantro crema. The rice and beans are smooth and delicious with the tacos. I'm only judging off the meal I got... service was good and store presentation was good ... but this review is about the #17 Sopes I choose chicken for my meat, and enjoyed the fact that I could also choose what other ingredients to put on top of my chicken sopes I fell in love with chicken sopes after a visit to this food truck in my neighborhood, and have been on the hunt for the valleys best sopes. HOLY. GUACAMOLE. So delicious. I'm excited for my next visit, whenever that will be! I really, really enjoyed my meal. I usually go more in depth with why I enjoy the food so much, but I feel like it's more respectable to let the sopes speak for itself. No clue what other menu items are like, so maybe if I ever feel like trying something new this review will need some editing. read more
