Good Thai food. It's not traditional Thai food but it's very good and large portions. The chicken hanian is a great dish here. Also really enjoy the pad thai! They have a very large restaurant great for large parties. They have plenty of parking also I like the drink selection too, the passionfruit green tea is great! They have a new Lunch special option, that also applies to takeout which is especially nice!

Horrible service, waiter was impatient when we tried to order. Gave us hard sticky rice that's literally built like a brick. Why is their coconut milk on the mango sticky rice salty? And why were we served ROTTEN MANGO??

This place has been here since I was knee high. I was dragged kicking and screaming, metaphorically of course. It is better than I thought it would be for a jack of all trades diner. The selection is mind boggling. For a fill me up place, it is great but if you looking for more this is not for you.

It's been a while since we were last here. We used to come to this place a lot when we lived a little closer. We pretty much ordered the same food we were used to ordering. But somehow it didn't taste as good as I remember them. They do serve pretty good portion. The garlic spare ribs was good but nothing special and not as tasty as I used to remember them. Beef steak was good but could be more tasty. The mixed vegetables with beef was actually really good! I don't remember having the beef panang here before but the soup/ sauce was a little too watery and the beef was kinda tough. The bbq pork wonton noodles was food. Service was good and fast. I remember before we always had to wait a bit for our table. Now the place is not as packed and we were seated right away! Ambience is very casual, light and a bit on the loud side but nothing that will bother diners.

Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 I haven't been here for a while and my family wanted to go eat here for lunch. We ordered noodle world fried rice, pad see ew, cat fish with chili sauce, spicy fried chicken, chicken satay, and grilled chicken. I noticed their food quality went down just by looking at some of the food. When I tasted it, it confirmed my doubts. Satay sauce was watery and the meat look weird. Spicy chicken sauce also used to be thick and full of flavor but it's very light now. I did not enjoy the food. We went on lunch time during the week and they didn't have much tables but yet when I ordered two drinks, it came about 10 minutes apart for each drink. They need to hire more servers or be efficient. Sad that one of my favorites restaurants going downhill. I won't be back anytime soon.

amazing value to portion! If you want solid bangers, go for these: -spicy spaghetti with beef -pork chop vermacelli -thai pan fried noodle ...these never disappoint!

Low price, plethora ration of food per order, and above all the quality of unique and exotic flavors makes this my to go place every time although it will take me average 1 and a half hour from Westlake/Agoura area. Totally worth every penny spent, and every effort to get here. We normally take home order so that we may continue snacking the leftovers for all days! The order takers are very patient, professional, helpful, & above all friendly.

sat ourselves had to wait for menus. ordered pork chop on noodles this plate had some veggies and cilantro and sliced pork chop. ordered pick chop and rice, this came with two pieces of porch chops and a lot of white rice and cucumber slices. Portions good we had a lot leftover to take home. We ordered two honey dew slushies with boba. Was good except was t sweet at all. should have had them add some sugar. Service was nice. Someone was cleaning windows and they had some small construction in the other dining room. Parking was easy 1 hr on street and they have their own parking lot.

They were okay. I took my picky mom here. She ordered a beef stew noodle. She didn't like it. My wife didn't like what she ordered. I ordered the Thai boat noodles. It was good. Service was okay. The waiter was the one who told me to get the boat noodles. I dunno. If picky mom doesn't like it, it would be tough for me to make a return visit.

It's been a while since I've been back, but the food here is still pretty solid. They still give pretty large portions which is great for this current economy. Service here isn't the best, but you just have to flag them down. The restaurant itself is huge and spacious. I usually order their pan fried noodles like the Pad See Ew and Pad Thai! They do offer a huge variety of dishes, if you're craving something different each time.

Un-Edible Mango from Noodle World Alhambra

When I tell you the service couldn't get any worse, it did. Our server came up to take our order and not only a few minutes later they had the nerves to say "Your not ready to order." and walked away. Food even took a while, we had to ask and ask and ask where the food was constantly so they could bring it out. If we never asked it would've never came. Not even the worst part. We ordered mango sticky rice and the mangos were all black and un-edible. If you can't even have the patience to check the food you're serving why are you even working. Since the mango sticky rice was un-edible we stuck with the sticky rice and it was hard too. If you come and eat check the mangos and make sure you have a lot of patience.

We got Noodle World for our coworkers to celebrate a birthday and everyone enjoyed the food. We got a wide variety of noodle and rice plates like pad see ew, pineapple fried rice, and etc. When I picked up the food, the cashier was very helpful and used a cart to help carry all the boxes to my car. The portions are really good, it was enough to feed more than 10 people. The flavors are delicious, the only downside for some people was that they felt the pad see ew was a little too salty, but overall everything was good! My coworkers and I would definitely reorder from here again for any future celebrations.

The Yellow Curry is pure comfort food; the broth is incredibly rich, smooth, and aromatic, with perfectly cooked potatoes and veggies. On top of the great taste, the portion sizes are very generous. You definitely get your money's worth here, with plenty of food to leave you full (and probably take some home). Will definitely be ordering from here again! Highly recommend.

It's flavorful and Ong Choy is nice and crunchy. Definitely a great vegetable selection. Pad Thai: the sauce is way too heavy and sweet. We didn't enjoy this as much as we thought we would. The first taste was good, but the more you have the saltier/sweeter it gets. The lime juice didn't lighten things up either. Don't really recommend it. Crab fried rice: there's a good amount of crab and egg in this dish. The rice is on the softer side, it's not dry and hard like most fried rice. We still enjoy it, the texture of the rice didn't kill the flavor of it. The flavor is very balanced, but quite oily. Tom yum seafood soup: There's a good amount of seafood in this soup. The flavor (sweet and sour) is well balanced. Sweet rice with mango: A great dessert option to finish the meal. It is not overly sweet. I'm not a fan of coconut, but the coconut is not distinctly sweet and overwhelming (so I was able to have some). The sweet rice is chewy and warm when served. And the mango is perfectly ripe and sweet. Definitely recommend it. The service was outstanding! The restaurant decoration is very traditional and unique. They are quite busy when we arrived on a Sunday night. I would give this place an overall 3.5/5 because they can definitely work on some of the dishes.

The papaya salad was incredible and had the perfect amount of sauce. It wasn't too sour & had the right amount of sweetness. The tom kha soup was extremely flavorful & came with a plentiful shrimps. My only complaint is that some of the mushrooms in the soup were undercooked. The cream cheese wontons had the perfect amount of crunch and crispiness. The chicken satay was cooked to perfection! I was genuinely impressed since most places that make this usually overcook their chicken making it extremely dry. The crab fried rice had a nice wok hey flavor and was very light. To top our meal off, we got the mango sticky rice. The mangoes were very sweet and ripe. The rice they paired with it was a bit too hot for my liking. Overall, I would definitely come back! I moved to the SGV a little over a year ago and I have been sorely disappointed by offerings this nook of LA county has to offer *ahem banana bay*. I found myself driving to the SFV or Thai Town whenever I was too lazy to cook Thai food on my own. I decided to take a gamble with this restaurant and I am so very glad that I did. It's so good and authentic that I have come out of yelp retirement (Yelp Elite 2016-2020) to leave this review. I ordered four things as take out: Issan Sausage, Pad Kra Pow Minced Chicken, Spicy Fried Crispy Cat Fish, and Drunken Noodles. I was told that they were out of the Kra Pow Century Egg and stewed pork leg over rice. Hopefully, I'll get to try it next time! Issan Sausage: Good portions. Flavor is very good, a little sour, a little salty, and a hint of sweetness. I think the flavors could be a bit more bold with the sour but overall the flavors profile is as it should be. Frying it also added a nice crispiness to it. Spicy Fried crispy Catfish: Flavors were really good. Sweet foods is typically not usually in my flavor profile, but this is one of the few sweet entrees I actually like. Catfish can be a bit more fried but that is moreso a preference on my part. Drunken Noodle Beef: Good char on the noodles. Flavor was really good as well. Not that much beef but the star of the show are the noodles. I was a tad confused on the egg in my drunken noodle but to each their own. I would probably order it without the egg next time because it does change the texture a bit. Pad Kra Pow Minced Chicken: Now here's where it gets interesting! Tantawan actually uses holy basil (Kra Pow). It's harder to find but it has a very distinct flavor that Thai-American cuisine has for the most part substituted due to scarcity with Thai Basil (Horapha). I don't think you can get more authentic than actually using the right herb. Funnily enough, I think it can throw off people that have never had authentic Kra Pow as my partner said it tasted herbally. Thai food can be very hit and miss even among the Thai community as we all have different preferences when it comes to the holy trinity of sweet, salty, and sour. I am personally on the spectrum of sweet should be hinted at and never the forward flavor. Tantawan with the dishes I ordered definitely held to my flavor profile. Very well cooked and good flavor profile. I didn't have to add any seasoning as everything was cooked just right. I called my take out in and they said it would be ready in 20 and it was when I arrived. Even as the food sat in my passenger seat as I drove home I could tell from the smell emanating from the take-out bag that the food was going to be good. Quick and courteous service!

The decor is upscale, the plating is beautiful, and the portions are surprisingly generous. The food itself tasted very good. To be fair, all of that elegance appears to be included in the bill. Compared with most Thai restaurants, the prices are noticeably higher--probably 20-30% more, sometimes even beyond that. I wouldn't have minded paying the premium if the service had matched the atmosphere. Unfortunately, it didn't. The restaurant was busy, and our table seemed to be forgotten more than once. Our final dish took over 30 minutes to arrive. Nobody checked in, nobody explained the delay, and by the end of the meal we were mostly just staring at the empty plates wondering whether the last dish had entered a witness protection program. When the check arrived, reality arrived with it. Three dishes, one coconut drink, plus tip. Just as expected, the bill marched confidently past the $100 mark. Still, none of that was the most memorable part of the evening. The most memorable part began approximately three minutes after I left the restaurant. As I sat down in my car, I noticed a faint disturbance somewhere deep within my abdomen. Nothing alarming at first. Just a small warning signal. A diplomatic message from my digestive system. Then negotiations broke down. Halfway home, my stomach launched what can only be described as a full-scale military operation. Every traffic light became a personal enemy. Every red light felt like a direct attack on my civil rights. At one point, I was calculating whether it would be faster to continue driving or start praying. I barely made it home. And when I say barely, I mean that with a level of sincerity usually reserved for survivors of natural disasters. To be fair, I cannot prove the restaurant was responsible. Maybe I have a sensitive stomach. Maybe one ingredient didn't agree with me. Maybe fate simply chose violence that evening. What I do know is this: Very few restaurants have ever served me a meal that was followed by a genuine sprint to the bathroom. The food looked fantastic. The portions were generous. The decor was beautiful. But the service was disappointing, the prices were steep, and the ending was far more exciting than I had hoped. I won't be returning. As for the salad, I wish future diners the very best of luck.
