a bowl of noodles with meat and vegetables

My boyfriend and I ended up at Noodlebox when the ramen spot a few doors down had a 180 minute wait!!! I guess all the bad reviews are about take out, good thing we ate in. My bf's beef box was unmemorable but my butter chicken box with noodles was bursting with flavor. The noodles were chewy, the sauce nice and creamy served with chicken breast, delish! Still drooling about this dish. Anyhoo, I guess if you want to eat her, dine in and get the butter chicken with hokkein noodles. You welcome!

Bombay mac n cheese, med spicy with chicken breast. That is more like a curry soup with macaroni no cheese and no spice.

Terrible We ordered on their app got there and they had missed our order entirely so we had to wait 20 min for our order. I got the Bombay Mac n cheese with chicken breast med spicy. What I got was a curry soup with macaroni and chicken breast. No spice. Honestly beyond disappointing. Would not go back again. Would not recommend this location.

This is the original location. My firm has ordered from this place before. But I have to say take out seems smaller than actually having it to eat in. So came here with a friend and ordered the Teriyaki Noodle with chicken and mild spicy. The noodle smelled so good. It was quite delicious but probably because I was hungry. Only issue was that there wasn't a lot of chicken and I have to say it is more expensive if you compare the portion size and price to what you would get for the same price at an Chinese or Japanese restaurant. At the end, I did notice the amount of sauce floating in the bowl. Yes my teriyaki noodle with chicken is stir fried but is not dry enough. All sauces still left hanging at the bottom of bowl. My friend ordered the Cambodian noodle with chicken. OMG it smelled so good and looked so good too. I didn't have a taste but can imagine. There are could of tables and a long sharing table (can be used for big groups as well). There is free sparkling water or still water depending on your preference. I like sparkling water and not a lot of places offers it. But of course that is a plus. Decor is not bad here. Ceiling is quite high. Interesting artwork on wall. Bathrooms are clean. I do like Noodlebox once in awhile. Will come back.

Interesting place that Caucasians cooking Asian foods... It's nice noodle place but expensive for lunch. It was so quiet on Sunday noon, only 2 tables there. I found the reviews were pretty good on this place and really want to try it. Food was ok not impress at all. My hubby ordered medium spicy of chicken peanut sauce noodle, he didn't like the sauce coz a bit bitter. I ordered daily special - scallops and prawns linguine in tomato sauce, it was pretty good.

*You know you've written quite a few reviews when you go to update your review and realize you haven't written a review in the first place* Enter Noodle Box - my go-to place when I'm craving something that I can justify as healthy and loaded with peanut sauce: hence the five sexy stars. I may only come here to get my peanut fix but, I do love the spice categorization too. I'm a mild myself, sometimes I dabble in mild medium, but my tongue usually regrets it! One day my goal is to graduate to "American Medium" which I believe is a couple more spice notches down on the menu! I also *heart* that there is a designated area for separate your recyclables and compostables. Thank You Noodle Box for for being greener than most!

Such great value and freshly prepared. My favourite is spicy peanut with chicken. I call ahead and by the time I walk there it's all ready!

Small and cozy restaurant, with good vibes for a date night out! Shoutout to our amazing waitress. She was so sweet and welcoming. I wish we got her name!! I had no expectations walking in and didn't have any expectations. I was surprised that the portions were actually decent. My boyfriend's favourite was the jumbo prawns-- he liked the texture and flavour! It was the opposite for me.. I thought the outside made it hard to eat and it was a little too salty for me. Their salmon don and chicken karaage was superb though. Flavours were on point for both and I just really enjoyed them overall. We both agreed that the beef tartare was nothing special. Didn't really taste the freshness of the beef. This was a pleasant experience overall!

Dwenjang jjigae had an interesting twist. It was lighter and more radish-forward than the traditional version, which I didn't mind, but it felt a bit unusual to call it dwenjang jjigae. It came with mushrooms, radish, tofu, and thin slices of beef. Overall, it was light and very enjoyable. Soondae was different from the typical version I'm used to. Here, it's made with an innards casing and the filling was also different, like meaty with less noodles. It had a strong flavor and aroma that I didn't prefer but the texture was soft, not chewy, and it paired nicely with kimchi and radish. It was fine to try but I probably wouldn't order it again. We ordered a small, and couldn't finish. Side dishes were limited to three varieties (fish cake, kimchi, bean sprouts) and served in small portions. With the richness of the bossam and strong taste of the soondae, we needed more kimchi and pickled radish but it was hard to get our server's attention, likely because she was busy attending to all the tables. We enjoyed the warm ambiance, and it seemed like many diners were enjoying the army stew. We'll be back to try more items and for the bossam.
