Meatball appetizer should be skipped as it was very ordinary. As always, the truffle bread was pretty good. We went as a group for a birthday party and they were able to seat us in a quieter area so we could all hear each other! Our server was very patient as we were a large table ordering multiple things from different ends. Our appetizers came out very quickly as well as the drinks we ordered. The white truffle garlic bread comes with 10-12 pieces and was enough for our group of 10. The calamari was fried expertly and was crispy but not too oily. The spicy broccolini was a side dish but just be careful, it's decently spicy! Our main courses arrived not too long after we finished the appetizers and they made sure to bring them all out at the same time. The portions were generous and we even took some home to go. The restaurant was also kind enough to hold our ice cream cake in the freezer and brought out cutlery and plates for us to serve with. They also included candles, which was a very thoughtful gesture. I've only been here once before for brunch but dinner was just as excellent! Will be back to try more items on the menu, as some (like the anolini) are seasonal. Our group of 4 was celebrating a birthday, and we decided on North Italia's Sunday brunch. The main dining room is open and bright, with high ceilings and a view of the kitchen. Also available is outdoor dining, and covered outdoor dining. The brunch menu has an ecclectic mix of usual breakfast fare, and pasta dishes. We opted for fried calamari for the table. Interestingly, they do not bring bread for the table, but you may order this as an appetizer. The pasta dishes we had came in huge bowls, enough for everyone to have a taste. I have to rave about the beautifully presented salmon dish. What a treat!!!! Perfectly done, and presented on a bed of pea-sized green pasta, with broccolini and green cauliflower... delicious! We also had the short-rib lasagna, not a layered tomatoey dish, very different. This was served in a small casserole pan, with a molten white cheese sauce, and tender short rib meat. This was a heavy dish, probably more suited to share on a cold winter day. Our server Demitrius took great care, was so friendly and efficient. Food was very delicious not the best I've ever had but I liked what I ordered a lot. The wait for the food was a little long but I think it felt extra long because I was so hungry . Staff was very friendly and filled up my water as many times as I needed. The whole restaurant was very pretty and in a lovely area. Wow- I have not been here in a long time. Before the pandemic maybe? They have up their game so much. First our waiter was AMAZING! His name was Zion (I think) he was so knowledgeable of the menu and was so attentive with us. I came with my 2 bbf's and we all had a blast and loved the food. We closed the place down on Saturday night. We shared apps and a pizza. We had the burrata with heirloom tomatoes- delish. The ricotta/truffle bread- WOW!! Tears! And the prosciutto/fig pizza that was perfectly cooked and the flavor was on point. My friend had the Sicilian margarita and said it was a strong drink- which is a good thing. I had one of their pinot noir and my other friend had their pinot Grigio. Everything was perfect. The ambiance was so cool. We reserved a table in the middle of the day but it took us 2 hours to get the tab. If we had a waiter that would have come by more than 3 times over the entire time it would have gone much faster. We had to go to the bar so some of our party of 6 adults could get a second beverage. The food was overcooked and average at best. We were ready to go after an hour, they could have turned the table twice. The manager came over and told us that they put an automatic gratuity on the tabs that have a party of 8 or more, we had 3 kids with us and each couple paid their own tab. She gave us our options and said she would take the consensus. We all always pay 20% or more. One person in our party said 20% so she walked away. We never complained but she knew the service was super slow so she tried to make sure we left a good tip. We have been to restaurants where they automatically add 18-20% and I have no problem with that but to walk up to a table of 6 adults and randomly give us our options was crazy. We frequent this location often and have been coming here weekly for years without having issues. I was shocked at the service that we received when we came in to celebrate a birthday. My friend checked in (on time) with the front desk for our reservation, letting them know we were here and was told "And?". What do you mean, "And?", this is the check-in desk. She was then rudely told to move out of the way and wait to the side. We had a larger group and when we went to sit down, a waiter told us to "just sit down!" because it was taking us a minute to get situated. We have someone in the group that has a knee condition that takes them a minute to get around. What was supposed to be a nice celebration was soured by this warm welcome. It was the right amount of spice for me and also perfectly creamy and smooth. Loved this pasta. We got the seasonal vegetable pasta to share as well. It was very hearty/healthy. I think the Brussels sprouts could have been cut smaller. The kale was well massaged and not too tough. I liked the addition of sweet potato and the dressing was great.
