Old Fashioned!
Lee C.

Just stopped in for a drink before I head to bed. The bar is nice and clean, had a quiet atmosphere. The bartender was super nice and friendly. She made an excellent Old Fashioned. Would def come back.

Amazing Cap steak! Incredible flavor!

OMG.. Server Milly and Chef Vilma were amazing.. The food and service was excellent. The chef cooked the best steak I have had in years. Thick and perfectly made medium rare.. The steak was called a Cap steak as I recall. The seasoning and sauce were out of this world. I can still taste it. I know where I am going for my birthday dinner. And then there is Milly.. bartender & server.. Sooo sweet and friendly! I must also say that the bar and eating area was much prettier than I expected.. Great Ambiance. I will be back to try the other foods on the menu!

Had the morning breakfast buffet. Food was decent for a hotel restaurant. Service was very good.

They have greatly improved their food menu. Great selection, and lots of options for happy hour. You know that you are in a hotel bar, but it doesn't feel like that. What kept it from being a five star is the service was not great - it was just good. Nice enough, but there's room for improvement there. Other than that, a great place, and a repeat place for me for sure.

The Salad Nicoise; very disappointing

The service was five stars. The Niçoise salad was a huge bummer. For real, they just dumped an enormous can of hard packed tuna on top. Whose idea was that? Dry-yolked, over-hard boiled eggs and flavorless potatoes. The green beans were great. The lettuce was bitter. Tomatoes were ice cold and flavorless. Olives were fine. Dressing was alright. Overall not impressed, a small portion of actual fresh or even frozen fish would not be difficult to find, adjacent to the airport in a seaside town. I'm very disappointed in you, Northwoods.

Western Bacon Cheeseburger

We were staying in the Hilton one night and did not have a rental car. We decided just to go sit in this restaurant. I am glad we did. I ordered the Western bacon cheeseburger and my wife ordered the regular cheeseburger. The burgers were huge and very juicy. The fries were crispy and had a good flavor. Overall it looks like they use quality ingredients and the wait on the food was not long at all. Our waitress was super friendly and gave us some tips for our early morning flight the next morning. I would definitely go here again if I were in the area and try some of the other things on the menu. This location is right across the street from the Bellingham Washington airport.

Food was great for an airport hotel restaurant. Service was friendly and relatively quick. Breakfast ambiance is exactly what you'd expect from a small airport hotel restaurant at 9AM. Everything was fine, nothing outstanding but would return if I was staying here again.

Prices are great. Food was good. It's clean and full service available. The staff who work here are helpful and nice. They're definitely under staffed.

Northwater Signature Burger with a side of soup (chili), $2 extra ($12+$2).

If you're flying out of Bellingham airport, this is an excellent location for a pre-flight meal or drink. Inside the airport terminal, the options are limited and overpriced. There's a bar (Scotty Brown) and a small stand after security and one more stand before security You can easily walk from Northwater to the terminal from in less than 10 minutes. The food and drinks here are very reasonably priced, and I thought the quality of their food was solid. Food: I'm not a burger person, but I thought their burger was very flavorful. Somehow, I ordered a side of soup (which turned out to be chili) for $2 extra, which was more like a meal of its own. Unless you have a huge appetite, you may want to stick with salad or fries. Ambience and service: It's clean but cold. I don't think it's romantic or intimate. As it's specious, it can accommodate large groups fine. The waitress was pleasant, but the service was on a bit slow side. ****************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit "useful" so that I can improve my reviews. Pretty decent spot for American food. It's connected to a hotel, so you do get the crowd if you are a visiting local.

I've driven by Sliced many times on the way to the mall restaurants and figured it was some sort of…read morefranchise and the food would be meh. Big mistake. Big. I decided to try it on a Tuesday. Arrived during the hottest day of the year so far to find a nice cool, clean, classy interior. Was immediately greeted by a friendly hostess who seated me immediately. Restaurant was moderately quiet. Water and menu obtained, I perused the choices and decided Pizza was the thing. The pizza prices were a bit on the high side for a franchise place but the descriptions were promising with some interesting ingredients. Then I spotted it on the bottom of the menu...the Fig Pig. How could I not try it! About 15 minutes later it arrived, I took the first bite and Oh My Lord...when they redo the menu, it needs to be at the top. This is my new favorite pizza in Bellingham. Salty, crispy, meaty and sweet. It hits all the hot buttons. The crust is actually tasty, the pork is perfectly done. It was freaking delicious. Even better, once I finished half the pizza...it was that good...and a box and the check were delivered...the pizza was half off. I called the hostess over to ask if it was a mistake and she said all pizzas are half off on Tuesdays. I now know my Tuesday dinners. I've told a bunch of people now and will be taking my neighbors next Tuesday. Oh and turns out it's not a franchise but a family run restaurant.and it was staring me in the face the entire time. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger...I'll be back.

The dining room was elegant yet cozy, with great lighting. The staff was also very friendly and our waiter was very helpful in aiding our choice. We ordered the Focaccia bread, the salmon momtadito and the tonnarelli as our entree. The focaccia was the only dissapointing item as it was very basic in my opinion, which isn't bad but just nothing exciting to write about. The appetizer, the salmon montadito, was probably my favorite item of the night. It was served on focaccia bread and drizzled with a truffle honey butter and sat upon a mascarapone yogurt. It was elegant and it was incredibly flavorful. The sweetness of the truffle honey butter was a great contrast to the salmon itself, and all melted together to make an exceptional appetizer. The tonnarelli was a pasta dish we split and was also very tasty. The pasta itself was a thicker spaghetti like pasta served with plenty of crab. It was tasty and it satisfied and I'd likely order it again as I will be back when my sister's visit. All in all, a great restaurant to spend a nice night right in the heart of Bellingham!
