As long established Nothing Bundt Cake connoisseurs and new residents to the ABQ area we were excited to find a location here. Our excitement was doubled due to the terrific service we received from Megan. Bar none it was the best experience/service we have had at any of the 4-5 NBC shops we've been too. In addition to her pleasant demeanor she struck up a conversation about college station TX when she saw our A&M shirts, was well versed on the different flavors (not that we weren't) and got us a NBC punch card which we had never been offered at any other location. In regards to the actual cakes I highly recommend the gluten free Cookie dough flavor (in not even gluten intolerant it's just delicious), the pecan, and the cinnamon swirl. My SO's favorite are the white white chocolate and the red velvet. No matter what they're all good and you can't go wrong. Ok! This place is much needed in Albuquerque, NM. It offers a refreshing take on dessert options in NM. Yes we all have that donut, cupcake or yogurt spot to go to...but do you have a Bundt cake spot? We do. I am really happy to say that I have tried these wonderful bundt cakes on two occasions. One being a wedding where I had 3 or 4 of these bad boys The other when I was craving that red velvety goodness and needed to grab a bite. Once I located this place I stocked up with several and took back home for guests to try and enjoy. We ordered the baby bundts so that we can try all the flavors; that way in the future we can order the bigger sizes of the cupcakes that we like. The order is a dozen minis. There were 10 flavors available so we took all ten and got two repeats. Our favorite was lemon, carrot, and turtle caramel. There was also one that tasted like cinnamon but not sure what it's called. Those are really the ones the stood out. I had high hopes for the red velvet because it's one of my favorite cupcakes but their red velvet disappoints. Although all the cakes are moist and soft, the red velvet lacked flavor and the plain vanilla cake was mediocre. We were satisfied with the cupcakes and will definitely be back. Nothing Bundt Cakes is Nothing Bundt Awesome! They have lots of sizes to choose from and their cakes are delicious. The frosting is just the right amount, and not too much. My favorite has got to be the Red Velvet but they're all worth trying for sure. Their location may be hard to find (kinda next to 5 Star Burgers) but it's worth the trip over. They're an addition to a competitive space with cupcake and sweet shops in general taking a whole new direction and they all are becoming very good. I ordered the 8" Chocolate Chocolate Chip on their website for pickup 24hrs later. When I arrived in store, the cake was ready and looked exactly as it does on the website. Also, the girls working there were so friendly and greeted me right away. The cake was absolutely perfect. So moist and full of delicious chocolate flavor. It had a small amount of chocolate chips mixed in for just the right amount of crunch. The frosting they put on their cakes is a creamy and delicious cream cheese frosting. I devoured 2 pieces within a couple of minutes and literally had to tell myself to quit and walk away. It looks like they have a few cakes available for quick purchases, but this is primarily a place where you should put in an order 24hrs ahead of time. Also, it is a bit pricey ($32 for an 8"), but this is a locally owned business. They need to make a living, I get that. I ordered a cake this afternoon and when I went to pick it up, was told the order online never came through. They did offer to frost, but needed to come back in 20 min. We went got coffee, came back. It turns out that online, cakes are 24hrs in advance, so the order was actually for tomorrow. I feel the online order system should bold or highlight the date as equally as it does the time, instead of auto populating it for you. They provided the cake in a box and a plain cake with only icing on it is what I received. I paid full price for a fully decorated cake, and received an incomplete product. Horrendous customer service. Placed an online order for pick up on Memorial Day. They called me the day before to tell me that they wouldn't be open (then why even allow me to place an order for pick up that day?), but said that if I could come earlier in the day they would meet me at the store. I arrived at the agreed upon time and they were nowhere to be found, they never even bothered to show up and they never answered the phone. This is after speaking to them and confirming twice that they would be there. Of course I was charged for the order and now I can't even get a hold of them to get a refund. Total fail on their part. When I came on my birthday, the cashier was super sweet and friendly. She was mopping, but stopped to service me. The shop was super clean and their was plenty of selection to choose from. This is a new chain in the Whole Foods shopping center. I was first introduced to this cake place when I was shopping for clothes in the shopping center and there was a sample platter sitting next to the cashier. They offered me a piece, and not being one to turn down cake, I of course sampled. Then I walked out the door and went straight down to the bakery (a few doors down) where I bought several "bundlets (individual sized cakes) and proceeded to eat all of them over the next couple of days. I LOVE this place, especially the chocolate chocolate chip and lemon bundlets. The cakes here are moist with a heavy dose of cream cheese frosting. The red velvet bundlets seem to be especially popular. I believe their cakes are made somewhere else then frozen but that doesn't take away from their deliciousness one bit!! Next time you are tempted to pick up dessert at Whole Foods or hit up one of the cupcake boutiques in town, I suggest you try Nothing Bundt Cakes. For a $9 delivery charge, he was happy to provide same day delivery and put together a great birthday package. Instead of getting one large bundt cake, I chose 6 bundlet cakes (there are 10 flavors all together). He bundled them, added a message card/flag, and a balloon package, and I had a sweet birthday present for my brother in less than an hour! What a success.
