Nothing Bundt cakes is my favorite. The cakes are amazing and very moist. I was there today to pick up a few items. Well the girl was very friendly, but it just didn't make sense what she did. She packaged up my items and put it in a bag and then put on a clean glove to take my money and give me change. She then threw the glove away. Can you please tell me why she would do that.? You think she would use a clean glove to get my items and package it up and Then use her hands to give out change and then use hand sanitizer or wash her hands after. Isn't that common sense? Also I Would appreciate it to be thanked for my business rather than me thanking them for my change or the item. When a cashier says, "it's not a problem" instead of "you're welcome" or "my pleasure" it makes it seem like it was a problem for them to give me my item or change. Mmmmmmm.....!!!! I was looking for a new and different treat with which to celebrate my mom & bro-in-laws bdays. After coming across Nothing Bundt Cakes, I decided I needed to give them a try. I am so glad I did! Friendly service from the moment I walked in the door. As a newbie, the counter person came around to give me the "tour" of their selections. Flavor of the month was "Chocolate Turtle" and the sample was yummy. Honestly, everything looked so delicious it was difficult to decide. I ended up going for variety. I selected the pre-packaged/ready-to-go "bundtini "dozen which includes 3 buntinis each of red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, lemon, and white chocolate raspberry. I also got a "bundlet" of carrot and the chocolate turtle. All were very well received. The cakes are moist and flavorful. I personally had a piece of the carrot bundlet and a red velvet bundtini. Both were super yummy and not too heavy. The white chocolate raspberry also got good reviews as did the chocolate chocolate chip & lemon. My sister wished the caramel in the Chocolate Turtle was more prominent but was still very happy overall. The presentation of the cakes is artful and appealing. Normally, the bundlet is intended to serve one person, but you can easily cut it into 1/4 or 1/3 pieces so you can sample more flavors without eating too much. The only downside to this store was the location. I got in & out of the store easily, however, exiting "the district" shopping area was difficult given the heavy traffic. As a non-local I didn't know the best way to get out and it probably took me longer to get back out to Jambroee than it did to buy my bundts! read more

I had a pretty awful experience at this location last week specifically with Jordan. I took home a snickerdoodle cake and realized the inside was vanilla instead of cinnamon. I called the location back and explained what had happened. Jordan was extremely rude, claimed that she gave me right cake and told me to swing by and bring the cake back for an exchange. I walked in the door and she immediately said "because you were not satisfied, here is the exact same cake." I asked her if they changed the snickerdoodle cake because I have bought this cake many times and she said no, the inside is vanilla and that she is not a baker. She also said that I must have gotten a different cake in the past which I know was not true. The 2nd cake she gave me ended up being the right one and Jordan told me that the baker just forgot to add cinnamon to the first one (hence why it was vanilla) but all while telling me this, she was not apologetic at all. Given my negative experience with her, I talked to the manager who was extremely sorry and offered to give me a free cake in the future. read more

The lemon raspberry was the same as the lemon cake but had a hint of fresh raspberry. You get bites of the raspberry seeds which I wasn't a huge fan of, but still very delicious. The cupcakes are great and they get 5 stars. The 1 star is for how the kids working in the tustin location showed me disrespect during the last mask mandate. I walked in and my mask apparently was just under the tip of my nose. Mind you, I am behind their glass shields. AMAZING SERVICE! I had placed an order online the day before (or so I thought) When I arrived to pick it up the next day turns out I never placed it. At that moment they were extremely busy and did not have any extra cakes. Normally they need at least an 1 hour 1/2 notice for the two tiered cakes. Due to the fact that the cake was for my mom and the drive to her is 2 hours away I couldn't wait long since I was already running a bit late.
