Had dinner here with my wife and enjoyed it. The scallops were honestly very good and probably the best part of the meal for me. It is not a cheap dinner, but that was expected for the location and the type of restaurant. Service was good, the place looked beautiful, and the food felt like it matched the level. Expensive, but worth it for a nice night out.
The food here is absolutely excellent, and the service is just as impressive. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but you're in Beverly Hills, and you truly get what you pay for. Every dish feels high quality, and the overall experience is worth it. The truffle pizza is a must order. It's genuinely one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The lunch special is also fantastic and offers great value. If you're coming here, you have to get the pasta served in the cheese wheel and add truffle. It's unforgettable. This is the kind of place everyone should experience at least once. The atmosphere, service, and food are all top tier. It will always be one of my go to spots for brunch.
My friends and I had a wonderful lunch experience here. A beautiful place with elegant decor, beautiful furniture, and nice cutlery - everything here says refined luxury. But the $39 (at this writing) 3-course lunch special was a fantastic deal -- not just the super reasonable price, but the food quality! Since there were five of us, we had almost every combination of their (quite extensive) menu. From appetizers, to main course, to dessert, every item was impressive! Service was impeccable! Our waitress was cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was quite busy when we came but our orders showed up very quickly -- now, a lot of people (from the front line to the back kitchen) had to have work very hard for that to happen! And my hat off to them all. From my foodie friends who had been here many times, most of things on their menu are good, but the seafoods are especially good, which I can attest to based on the salmon tartar, seabass, and other fish we had that day. The desserts were phenomenal! See pictures... The burger-shaped Tiramisu looked great and tasted great. The lemon sorbet was rich but refreshing.... At my foodie friend's recommendation, we order an extra dessert -- the awesome looking and massive Napoleon! If you like to admire your food before you eat it, this one might please you. Overall, a great dining experience and I'm planning more gatherings there as I write....
Wow! Third time's a charm. My first visit was for a bridal shower where we rented a private room and had a pre fixed menu, which honestly didn't leave much of an impression. The second time, we stopped in mainly for drinks and appetizers. This visit, however, was all about exploring the menu, and I'm so glad we did. The bruschetta was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal. The truffle pasta was easily the star of the show, rich, packed with flavor, and a perfect portion size. The prawns were cooked beautifully, and the sauce elevated the dish even more. For dessert, we ordered the fruit topped specialty, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect way to end the evening. What continues to stand out every time is the service. From the busers to the food runners and servers, everyone was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The hospitality here is consistently top notch. The vibe is what initially kept me coming back, but now the food has officially won me over too. Looking forward to returning and working my way through the rest of the menu.
Novikov is a luxurious, elegant, impressive experience. When you walk in you'll notice white table cloths, olive trees, a fully decked out bar, a wine cellar, an open kitchen with farmer's market veggies for sale and a cosmopolitan crowd. It has a European feel to it. A place where you don't just eat, you "dine" and where lunch or dinner is an "event". The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. I felt well taken care of. The table we got was just perfect. Exactly what I had asked for when making a reservation. The music was delightful and a good, soft background volume. They played songs in different languages and also an oldie but goodie favorite of mine "Mambo Italiano". I was offered a purse rest for my purse. Such a nice gesture. I did not know such a luxury existed! I love that they offer this feature for the ladies. We came for lunch during a holiday weekend to celebrate a special occasion and the place was packed. We ordered from the three course prix fixe menu which is an excellent deal. I ordered the gazpacho soup which was one of the soups of the day. It was one of three soups that were offered. I ordered it because it had a vegetarian broth. The presentation was beautiful. It was served on a cutting board with a side of garlic bread. I'm so glad I chose this soup. It was delicious! My dining companion got the minestrone soup. It was served in a cast iron dish. A nice presentation. I was told it was also very good! For the main course I got the fish of the day. It was sea bass. It was served butterfly style. The fish was so tasty. I loved how perfectly cooked it was. It flaked when I put my fork on it and melted in my mouth. There was some tasty green sauce lightly drizzled on the side too. A perfect accompaniment to the delicate fish. I noticed a lot of people ordering this dish around me. My dining partner liked the branzino they ordered. For dessert I got the tiramisu and my dining companion got the lemon sorbet. The tiramisu is also a popular choice here. I saw it being carried around to lots of tables. It was soft and flavorful. I love the sweet coffee flavor and the spongy lady fingers. My dining companion's sorbet was also deliciously sour. It was served in a lemon which was a treat for the eyes! Both drastically different desserts. Both excellent. Overall, our visit to Novikov was fantastic! I had never heard of the restaurant before discovering the Beverly Hills location but apparently it is an international brand. I believe the original location is in London. Novikov is the last name of the restauranteur responsible for these restaurants. This is a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion. Also, of note, is that they have a party room in the back. Valet parking, street parking, and free parking lots close by.
Great tasty dishes! - even the salad was amazing! You can tell it was a simple dressing, yet so fresh and flavorful! Oh and don't get me started on the mushroom pasta- think I inhaled that dish! Drinks were also top notch! Kaz our waiter was so nice and attentive. I wish to request him next time I come back. Really nice decor; although it was pretty loud I understand my party was next to the bar.
It seems my 1st review was taken down. That's fine, here is my 2nd review and this time, they didn't turn us away at the door. Of course atmosphere is modern, clean, display of fresh veggies, and seafood. But did they execute? 21 Oz rib eye, ask for medium rare- came out medium well. Didn't bother to send it back. Flavor is good, but not something I would come back for. Langostines, we had them as appetizers. 5 pieces, pretty pricey, but wasn't cooked to correctly. 2/5 were cooked perfectly. The other 3 were mush. Just mush. No flavor, deff not worth $100 Oysters were good. Greek salad was prob the highlight of the meal. Drinks their spicy Paloma tastes like simple syrup. No spice, no citrus taste.
From the moment we arrived I got a great vibe from the outdoorsy Mediterranean scene. The place was packed with a lot of high end looking people and drinks were flowing and conversations and table side foods being made! We were seated right near the street on the patio. Ordered the eggplant parm tableside, salmon dish, the napoleon and a cappuccino! The service was outstanding! The food tasted great and the energy of the place was awesome. Atmosphere is chic and modern, bright and clean. Their coffee and cocktails are delicious, they have DJs during the weekend and special events. Our bartender Luigi made this hibiscus cocktail, it is refreshing and crisp with a tart finish! This review is for the bar and cafe, their cocktail menu is nicely curated with wide options. Alcohol here is not watered down, bartenders are helpful with recommendations.
Visited recently and had a fantastic experience. I had been to Novikov in Miami before and loved it, so I was curious to see how the Beverly Hills location would compare. It definitely did not disappoint. The atmosphere is upscale, glamorous, and a little bit over-the-top in the best way. It feels luxurious but still fun and energetic. By around 9pm a DJ came out and the entire restaurant turned into a lively party scene. The place was completely packed and the vibe was incredible. The food was excellent across the board. The $100 ribeye was absolutely flawless, perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The black truffle risotto was rich and creamy, and the asparagus added the perfect texture to balance the dish. The wagyu bolognese was also fantastic. The sauce was deep, rich, and perfectly executed. And the tiramisu? As legendary as its reputation, every bite completely lived up to the hype. Great food, beautiful space, and an amazing atmosphere. If you're looking for a high-end dinner that turns into a fun night out, Novikov Beverly Hills absolutely delivers
We've been here a few times now, and it's been good every time. The food is consistently tasty, the service is usually smooth, and the atmosphere makes it feel like a nice night out without being too much. Definitely not a cheap dinner, but for the location and the quality, it makes sense. A solid option when we're in the mood for Italian tood.
Really fun date night and first time here. It was a busy Friday night, many people dressed to the 9s, super lively atmosphere, service a little slow due to it being busy but very pleasant waitstaff. It's a beautiful restaurant: light and airy with a bold elegant vibe too. Exhaustive Italian wine list, fun cocktails, food was delicious too. The highlight for me was the Lobster Catalana salad, see picture. It was juicy, silky, fresh, but still a nice winter night delicacy. I enjoyed it with the Pornstar Martini which was a lightly sweet tropical take on the martini and it also had prosecco. We enjoyed the steak as well but I forgot to take a photo. I would come back but maybe midweek so it's not as busy, but if you're trying to party, this is a good place for that! read more

First time coming here, and it was during a Venetian themed night. So they had dancers and performances during the night. Beautiful decor, massive indoor dining space. Completely packed for a Friday night. They had live classical musicians, not sure if this is a regular occurrence, or special for Venetian night since the musicians were dressed up. Around 10pm a DJ takes the place of the live string band. The switch to the DJ makes it quite loud and really hard to have a conversation. The vibe also completely changes. Food was fantastic. Not sure about their regular menu, since we were there for a set menu birthday party. It's Beverly Hills, so expect very $$$$. Staff were great and attentive. Went here with a group of friends on a busy Saturday night. We were seated at a nice round table situated in the indoor/outdoor section of the dining space. For a restaurant in this location and at this price point, we were expecting much better service and higher quality drinks and food. We ordered cocktails off of the menu and all were mediocre except for the Espresso Martini. Usually when we see a tomahawk on the menu, we order it as this is one of our favorites everywhere. The Tomahawk was very disappointing. Chewy meat and cooked unevenly, although the presentation was very nice, we filled up on the potatoes and vegetables. Our waitress noticed we were disappointed and offered to take 50% of the price off of the tab. At that point, I knew this was not the restaurant for us. This was a one and done. We passed by here Mulitiple times already, but we kept changing our minds to dine-in or not due to the negative reviews we read, but we were craving for Seafood and it seems this restaurant has a lot of them, plus it was just a few steps away from we where we at. So we went in without a reservation and since we were not sure what kind of experience or food we were gonna have here, for a safe option we chose their specials for the day. Before I continue with my Review let me tell you that everything Negative we read about this place was NOT what we experienced, the FOOD was FANTASTIC! The service from everyone we encountered in this restaurant was EXCELLENT! GLAD we came here. So we went without a reservation and we got in, but since we had no reservation I was worried we were gonna be placed on a bad table spot, but we got a good seat, we can see the Bar and saw the whole inside where we are seated, and it was a very comfy spot too. So here is what we had: *BAKED EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA *OKRA KING SALMON *BRANZINO FILLET *WHOLE FISH of the day *PORN STAR COCKTAIL *PANNA COTTA *GREEK STYLE TOMATO SALAD *TIRAMISU *TORTA Cioccolatino *NEW ZEALAND SALMON TARTAR The Complimentary bread came with my PORN STAR cocktail which was very smooth and delicious. FOR our APPETIZER we had the EGGPLANT, NEW ZEALAND SALMON TARTAR, and the GREEK STYLE TOMATO SALAD. I really like Eggplant so I got that for my Appetizer and it was Delicious! The tomato sauce is not overpowering, the Eggplant was very balanced and I will order this again on my next visit here. My SON had the NEW ZEALAND SALMON TARTAR, it has a yogurt dressing and quail egg, the Salmon is prepared nice and fresh, this was also amazing. My Husband's appetizer was the GREEK STYLE TOMATO SALAD, this one has FETA CHEESE and it's also very good. All our Appetizers were delicious and came in a good portion! For our main course we decided to get all Seafood since the 3 of us were craving for seafood. I got my FISH of the day butter style which is a Branzino, my Favorite one to get in any restaurant. The Branzino here is also pretty good and not dry at all. My husband had the BRANZINO FILLET with dattarino tomatoes, olives, and spinach. This Branzino Fillet was also delicious, it has Crispy skin and the meat of the fish was very soft like it melts in your mouth, it's a delicious one. My Son's OKRA SALMON FILLET came with a nice Grilled Salmon and Tzatziki sauce which is so good with it. For dessert we had PANNA COTTA, TIRAMISU, and TORATA CIOCCOLATINO, I will make this simple, all 3 are soooooo good, get them! Over all, our experience here was great, the service, the food, and the ambiance. We like it here and I will make sure this is our first stop to dine in again when I'm in the area. read more
Came to celebrate a birthday with the girls and had a great time! There are few times a restaurant has both good ambiance and delicious food - this place hit the mark. Slightly overpriced food with a little sneakiness from the waiter - the "appetizer special" of scallops with caviar and truffle (the caviar and truffle was $100 add-on to the scallops app) We also got the melon/ham app but they ordered 2 of them for 4 girls! We didn't ask for 2. And it was definitely left over. But I digress, as everything was delectable. Mushroom truffle pizza was also great. 21oz bone-in ribeye was good, but nothing notable. Desserts were also good, the napoleon was the best I've had, and the apple tart is 100% worth the wait. Tiramisu you can probably skip, and the chocolate "cigar" was also yummy. Was here in a Monday and service was great. Had the oysters from Pacific Northwest. Mignonette was too sour and cocktail sauce didn't have enough horseradish. Wasn't a clean finish and biting some shell left by inexperienced shucker didn't help. The branzino was excellent as was the sea bass. Tiramisu was really good. Not worth the $400. I came into Novikov with very high expectations, but unfortunately the experience fell flat from the moment I walked in. The hostess at check-in barely acknowledged us because she was mid-conversation with someone else and didn't bother to check us in promptly. Not a great first impression. Once we finally got seated, it took what felt like forever for a server to come by and even ask for drinks. The service throughout the night was honestly some of the worst I've experienced. No one checked in to see if I wanted a second drink, no one asked if we needed anything, and everything we did get felt like we had to work for it. I asked for a second round of bread, and it didn't show up until after I posted my initial Yelp review--never a good sign. Then the biggest disappointment: the oven was broken, so we couldn't order pizza at a place known for it. At that point the entire experience felt off. I really expected much more. Honestly, I've had more attentive service at Denny's. I dine around Beverly Hills regularly, and all I can say is Novikov should take notes from Craig's in West Hollywood. They actually understand hospitality. As for the food? It was just okay. Nothing memorable. My spicy paloma was also just oka drinkable, but not something I'd reorder. Fun fact: I heard that Jennifer Lopez celebrated her managers birthday here recently . Overall, I won't be rushing back. Disappointing from start to finish. read more

Came to Novikov for dinner with my wife and overall had a really good evening. At the beginning we had to wait a few minutes, but it wasn't a big deal and everything after that went very smoothly. Loved our meal at Novikov! Stopped by for lunch today and had an amazing experience. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious, and attracts a good crowd. More importantly, the food was spectacular. We did the lunch special and loved everything we got. The hamachi crudo melted in your mouth. The Greek salad was super fresh. The Branzino was perfectly cooked and very meaty. And the Jidori Chicken was one of the best I've ever had. The cherry on top was their delicious coffee. I highly recommend ending the meal with it!! Service was also great. I came here to celebrate my birthday. Some desirable things and some not so much... The ambiance is beautiful inside! They have a great lunch special that goes thru the wknd and late, 5PM. Which this is not usually and especially in BH... The food was pretty good overall. There were few things for me which were either too salty, or when you order pasta with truffles and spend that hefty price for truffles, I'd expect a good amount of truffles. Well, not this place, only 8 pieces for a plate of cheese wheel pasta and a $100 price tag. Il Pastaio has the best tasting homemade pastas with a lot of truffles, they are not shy with their truffles! I have compared so far with 3 restaurants that served the exact same pasta with truffles, prices ranging from $100-$150. I will only ever get this pasta at Il Pastaio! Food: *Hamachi served on a block of Himalayan salt- beautiful presentation but way too salty since it's on a block of Himalayan salt. Maybe needs more orange citrus to help break up the salt a bit more... going it more of that refreshing and sweetness to help break up that salty taste. * Greek salad with feta cheese - good, big chunk of feta cheese *sea bass- good *pasta with truffles - very good but could use more truffles since I did pay $100... (only 8 truffles) *lamb - good - have had it better at other places. *pappardelle bolognese- good, have had it better at other places Dessert: I will have to say both of their desserts were amazing! I would likely come back for their lunch special or maybe even skip food here and just order desserts! Probably one of the best desserts I have ever had. And, I usually lean more towards to chocolate deserts.., but wow! I think their lunch special is a very good portion and great prices compared to their regular menu. I would skip their truffles since they seem a bit stingy on the portion of truffles. Service can be worked on. When I asked the server a question regarding if the pastas they make at the restaurant, if it's made with Italian flour and "00". I have gluten intolerant and dairy intolerant. I can ingest very little and I know what I can eat or avoid. The server laughed at me! I did not find this funny and put the serve in his place, told him how rude that was! What's so funny to laugh at a customer when inquiring about the ingredients in their menu??? So, do I think the service was 5 stars, absolutely not! Maybe 21/2-3 at best. Once he saw I was upset, he completely changed and went and asked the chief. The service needs a bit of training of how to present themselves professionally in a high-end restaurant. Would I I try this place again..? Maybe.., but, not anytime soon. There are so many Greta restaurants in BH and surrounding areas. read more

We believe we were subjected to racial discrimination during our visit. We are Asian customers with a reservation. Upon arrival, we were told that wearing a hoodie was not allowed and were asked to leave and change our clothes. We complied immediately and returned as instructed. After coming back, we were told to wait over an hour, and were asked to stand and wait to the side. When we finally sat down on a bench while waiting, a staff member told us that we were not allowed to sit unless we ordered drinks. This was shocking and unreasonable -- what kind of restaurant requires guests to order alcohol just to sit while waiting for their reserved table? Meanwhile, other guests who arrived after us were seated without issue. Notably, those guests were not Asian. This unequal treatment strongly suggests discriminatory behavior. The front desk staff showed no professionalism, no explanation, and no apology throughout the entire process. This experience was disrespectful, disorganized, and deeply upsetting. I feel like the reviews for this place are unnecessarily harsh, and I can't understand why. I was pleasantly surprised. The ambience was absolutely gorgeous, the service was also really good. We absolutely loved our oysters and our Cacio E Pepe pasta served tableside. They made interesting and delicious drinks for us based on our request. We went for dinner, but as it got later, it started to turn more into like a nightclub vibe, definitely a pick up spot for people but it was definitely fun and you can kind of pick the vibe you want depending on what time you go. Wow. This place is amazing. It was my first time dining in this restaurant, it didn't disappoint at all. Food was amazing. Every thing tasted so good. I would suggest to check out the restrooms since they have Hermes lotion and soap. lol Service was amazing too. Our server was very attentive. She kept checking on us and asking, if we needed anything. She also made suggestions on what to order and wasn't pushy at all. This place gives very good vibes and it is located across from Maestro's Steak House. I would recommend reservation since it can be busy on the weekends. This place is a whole vibe. Once in a blue moon, I like to treat myself to a chic night out in Beverly Hills, and Novikov absolutely delivered. The energy is sophisticated yet fun, perfect for a girls' night. We started with the truffle pizza, which was pure indulgence, and the bruschetta con peaches, coops & favo di Miele, honestly, a work of art both in flavor and presentation. Every bite felt like it belonged in a glossy magazine spread. I did venture off-menu for a drink (a Shirley Temple with rum, yes, I took the risk) and, while it wasn't my favorite, that was entirely on me. Everything else was flawless. I highly recommend this restaurant for many reasons. Not only is it a beautiful and clean establishment, the staff were super attentive; every waiter that visited our table was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. It was the perfect time to visit as the whole place was decorated, and tastefully so, for Christmas. There were several Christmas trees in different sizes adorned with different color schemes of ornaments on each one. The whole place felt festive but in a classy way. We had the privilege of being an activation for a company party celebrating at this beautiful restaurant and were treated as guests the entire night. I had some concerns about my dietary restrictions and the staff were so accommodating and brought us dishes I could enjoy. I have to say I'm not sure if the dishes that were brought to us are on the menu, but they were delicious. All of the ingredients were so fresh and seasoned to perfection. Simple yet so memorable. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or go on a date night. I had the best experience on my first visit. I hope to revisit someday. read more
