The dealership doesn't even charge you over $350 and I thought that was even high. It might be time to buy electric because this price gouging bs has gotten way outta control. On Friday July 1, 2022, I went into a NTB Location at 1770 Marketplace Boulevard in Irving, Texas. The Front Brakes and Right Front Caliper on my 2018 Jeep Compass Limited 4x4. After the car repairs were completed, the horn sound was low and the car wasn't realigned properly. I tried to contact the Store Manager to complain about it, but he (Greg) left early. The following week, I finally reached the Store Manager (Greg). to discuss the issue with him. I complained that my car's emergency brake kept engaging and the horn was too low. He (Greg) told me to come in to check the car. On Friday July 8, 2022, I brought my car back to NTB to rectify the problems. The emergency brake was resolved; however, the car alignment and car horn was not. Hence, I informed him (Greg) if there were any concerns or issues with my car; I was going to bring it back to get it checked out. Greg agreed. Later on, the car alignment and car horn was off. I brought the car back to NTB. Greg told me that the car horn was fine. I asked him if he could show me how they did the front brake repairs. We go to front of the car, lift the hood, and he (Greg) points to the the brake fluid container. He stated that is the only thing that mechanics touched while they were completing the brake job. Frustrated, I left NTB and I contacted its corporate headquarters to file a formal complaint about my 2018 Jeep Compass Limited 4x4. On Friday July 8, 2022, I spoke with Alex at the customer relations department. Alex listened to my complaint, but he never put in NTB's Computer System. On Monday July 11, 2022, I called the NTB Corporate Office to follow-up on my complaint. I spoke with another customer service representative, and she informed me that my complaint wasn't put into the system. Consequently, I had to file a second customer complaint about my car and Alex due to the willful failure and negligence of the NTB Company to care of its customers. Overall, I highly recommend that you don't use NTB Stores anywhere in the United States because they will mess up your car and leave you with the financial burden to get it repaired. This place sucks. I had a puncture that needed repair. So around 10:30 I got an appointment at noon. I assumed that since the appointment was already an hour and a half after contacting them they would get the car in and out immediately. Now it's 2 hours later and the car is still in the lot. I'm going to take my car and just grab a plug kit from Walmart and use my bike pump since that would literally be faster. Took vehicle to NTB for a swap for a headlight that was out. Advised them to check and see about swapping out the bulb. That ended up being a realignment of both headlights and a very high price. When I declined the service, they still ended up charging $29.80 for the labor to replace the headlight. Due to the miscommunication, there should have been no charge. The customer service rep agreed that it was not right for them to charge. Customer service offered a $75 voucher for use at another location. Refunding the labor would have been much easier. In my view this business attempts to wheedle any extra dollar they can from someone wanting a simple service. I would not recommend to anyone. read more

I couldn't figure out why one of my cars could start right up when I jumped it but wouldn't during a cold start. I assumed it was the battery but didn't want to take my chances. I dropped by NTB and Mike was there to help me. He brought out his battery tester and sure enough, the battery wasn't producing the amperage as needed. Out of an acceptable 770 amps, the battery could only pump 480 amps. Ugh! People were already in the waiting room and more were showing up even after I got the car checked in. Fast forward 20-25 minutes, the bad battery was swapped for a fresh one and they even tested the alternator to make sure that didn't go bad. While I'm always weary of taking any of my cars to big box stores, NTB still gives a neighborhood garage vibe. I would recommend heading there for your needs. They are solid and the work is solid. Both my husband and I have the tire insurance with NTB and we're always going to this location because it's close to our offices. Normally I have a great experience here (mainly when I work with the asian guy, I know it's bad that I don't know his name). However, this morning I was shocked by the service. Hubby and I got there to drop the car off in the morning for an oil change and we stood there for 10 minutes, there was only one employee up front and he was talking to someone about a bake sale. We didn't get any recognition, no "Hey guys, I'll be with you in a minute" it's like we weren't even there. Now, I know this isn't their normal business practice, but it really irritated us, and I feel like they're a little more expense than other places you could go to so they already would have been 4 stars. -1 star for a bad customer service experience, I'll do an update if they ever earn it back. read more

I always have a great experience when I come to this NTB. The staff is professional, courteous, and helpful with all questions. I always come to this NTB because it's the only place I can trust to do the job well. When I've gone to other places (clay Cooley) the staff is rude and they don't fix the issue. If they make attempts to fix it they don't check to confirm that it's fixed. I've actually had to bring my car to NTB after going to Clay Cooley because there was still something wrong with my car. NTB scams big time. They don't provide any warranty on Tire Thread Wear. My Tire has 60000 Miles warranty. Also i bought additional Road Hazard Warranty Certificate for 20$ each tire. 17000 miles driven. 16 months only passed. 2 tires completely worn out. I keep rotation, balancing every time i go for oil change. Also i do Wheel Alignment every 6 months. Out of 4 tires, 2 tires completely worn out. This is manufacture defect issue. NTB gave weird answers, saying that they don't ask customers to really go by Product Warranty like miles. According to them even if u just drove 5000 miles and thread is worn out, they don't feel product is defective. Some nonsense. There answer is buy very expensive tires and hope for best. Bottomline is if tire worn out, doesn't matter what tire, what price, what product miles warranty, u r out of luck. They say, if there is issue with buldge, cuts etc, then they can use hazard and give prorate. But if anything happens to thread wear , u r out of luck, even if u just had for 6 months and drove 5000 miles. U can still buy 75000 Miles and 250$ tire, but thread worn out, NTB washes there hand. First off let me begin by stating that I have never been more disrespected by a business establishment than what I experienced here, not only by an employee but by there direct general manager. I dropped my car off for an oil change & tire rotation. Rec'd a call that my car was ready to be picked up, went paid, retrieved my keys. Upon approaching my car I noticed that NTB had damaged my wheels, so I walked right back to speak with the GM who then came out to see the damage. We then proceeded to the bay and he asked a worker about the damage and work done to the car. GM asked the worker on the "process" of how he performed the rotation, after stumbling through words because of nervousness the GM then "told" the employee how he performed the job. The worker clearly looked as though he was hiding something and couldn't look at either one of us in the eye. The GM Greg Leblanc then tells me, "no we didn't do this". I tell him the wheels are dusty and the only place they aren't dusty is where the exact damage is. He then walks off rambling and flipping me off. I told him that I could not believe that NTB had him representing their company. I've contacted their customer service team with zero resolution. I've gone to The Colony and Carrollton locations for years and always got great service, so after moving I decided to give this location a try. I made an appointment and came in to get an oil change service which always includes a tire rotation. After the mileage check, the guy comes back and rudely says, "Yeah we're not rotating your tires, you need new ones". I asked why and he continued on that, "We aren't doing a rotation because it's pointless." Firstly, my tires have plenty of tread and are fine. Secondly, who tells a customer what they aren't going to do? Any other business with a shred of customer service would suggest any other services they felt were necessary and let them decide, not tell a customer that they aren't getting a service they are paying for. NTB- Irving, TX I had the brake calipers on my Acura replaced here in May of this year. The brakes failed while I was driving on the highway a few months after that. I had Grubbs Acura (GREAT service) look at it and they told me the calipers they installed failed. Acura fixed the issue. I took the NTB caliper back and Josh the service manager (who lacks an ounce of customer service knowledge) essentially told me too bad too sad. Worst experience at a NTB ever. NTB in Dallas at George Bush and Coit is wonderful. I should have driven there but I pull a 41' goose neck and I knew I had 2 tires with nails and they were leaking. The guys knew I was in a hurry for work and told me they would get right on it and it would take 30 to 60 minutes 2 hours later they told me one was un patchable. But the other was. 30 minutes later they've pulled out my truck. And told me they were born unrepairable. TAKEN IT OFF THE HOIST AND PARKED IT. Not called me, with alternatives, like BUY a new tire. Wow, just wow. Two times I've come here. Two times the same guy is rude. I came today to see about a state inspection. My truck failed which I understand. But the technician had NO idea why it failed. Could not tell me a remedy why. I have a newer truck that recently was tuned and I know why it failed but he couldn't give me a reason himself. Don't think by having an appointment that you will get in and out. It took over 1 1/2 hours for a simple oil change. Unbelievable! My vehicle sat in the parking lot for 40 mins before they ever moved it into a bay then 50 mins to change the oil. No reminder sticker in the window to let me know the day/mileage for my next change and the mechanic left oily foot prints on my floor mat. Even the quick oil change places put down paper mats. Today I took the same car to a different tire company to check for a nail because of a slow leak. No nail just a crappy pack job, completed by NTB, that was leaking. The person that I spoke to today asked if I'd taken my car to a gas station or had a friend patch the tire. The packwork was that bad! Mike Husak was my Sales Associate and he was very accommodating when scheduling my appointment (the day before) for a tire balancing and alignment. I arrived early for the appt and he was professional and acknowledged me when I arrived. The lobby was full of people and Mike gave each person gracious and immediate service.
