Tonight is the last time that I will order from NY Pie. when I am paying almost 50.00 for a small pizza and some chicken wings, I deserve a hot pizza (not luke warm, have to reheat in my f**king oven) and hot chicken (have you ever eaten cold chicken wings? Because it's gross) and when I order BBQ wings, the BBQ sauce would be a nice addition - chicken wings are supposed to have messy sauce all over them right?! I used to love this place and their pizza - now they are mediocre at best. Once I heated up the pizza, I realized how greasy it was (and yes, I know, it is Pizza) - I soaked an entire paper towel with grease, just off of two pieces. I don't know what the difference is from prior pizzas and what I was brought tonight from NY Pie, because I don't know anything about making pizza, but I do know that I didn't order grease with a side of pizza crust. read more

We got a young kid as our server, who kept having to put his pants up every time he walked even though he had a belt on his pants. The pizza was okay flavor is decent. The one thing I saw was the parmesan cheese in the containers on our table had mold. I grabbed another one from a different table and that one too had mold. I went to the manger and told him quietly since there were a lot more people there at the time eating pizza about there issue. He went up to our server and showed him and our server just acknowledged it but didn't do anything about it. He later came and asked if we wanted any more cheese which I refused after seening mold. His excuse was the server from the previous night left them out when they should have brought them into a walk in fridge which is a lie. Mold does not accumulate in one night. Who knows how long the cheese was there and how many people have gotten sick. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. read more

I've tried almost every pizza joint in the area (I try to keep up with as many as there are) and NY pie does it right! When I think of pizza, I think of the Ninja Turtles or Home Alone 2 Lost in New York when he orders the pie to the hotel room. THIS is that pie! Thin crust and so delicious. Not to mention the staff. I heard this place was supposed to be good. And MAYBE it is the best place in the area. But make no mistake about it, this is not good pizza. NY style, or otherwise. It's major flaws: 1) It was too cheesy. 2) The cheese was flavorless. 3) It was undercooked (great pizza is slightly burnished). 4) The crust was too thick. I wish there was something good I could say about this place. The food didn't make me sick. It just made me sad. I want the 30 minutes of my life back that I spent eating their sub-standard pizza. Don't order the dare wings...they used to be good years ago. They're like, green now? They're nothing like they used to be. They should just rename them since they're not using the same sauce at all. This place has lots of street facing , floor to ceiling windows. So, if you drive Brookwood you can't help but notice this place always has plenty of people dining there. Well played NY Pie, well played. I can't say we were surprised by the product. It's pizza as you expect it. The crust was neither thin nor too thick, typical toppings. We opted for old school combo style. Salad was a bag of aging iceberg with a few old tomato slices thrown on top with olives and boxed croutons. We got out of there for $48 for a small 12" combo pizza, 1 shared large garden salad, 2 bottled mineral waters, and including the standard tip. I guess that's the one thing to note. I would have expected to place my order at the register & get a number to set on my table, but they really roll out the red carpet attentive service--even if it is with paper plates and plastic forks. We arrived on a Thursday around 6pm. We took the last table available. The singularity of the patrons struck me as well although that could have been an odd coincidence. Aside from one family and a departing couple, every other patron was a hard working dude aging from early 30's to maybe late 40's. I would have guessed we stumbled into some kind of organized labor meeting but no. NY Pie has found their target demographic. I travel the world for a living and love to try new places... I almost paid 5 bucks for A slice of pizza. And we waited for almost 10-15 mins on just ONE slice of pizza. We put in our order for a Hawaiian slice pizza. For some odd reason they made a new Hawaiian pizza the same time we ordered our one slice of pizza that came out faster then what we had order and set it on the counter. And I was thinking to myself, "that whole Hawaiian pizza came out faster than just our ONE slice of pizza?! And they set that on the counter?! I have never been to New York, but this is incredible pizza. NY Pie truly has some amazing pizzas to offer. The atmosphere is great (when you can eat there) and the ability to get pizza by the slice is awesome. I've had NY Pie delivered many times and almost every time, it comes before the anticipated delivery time. The delivery drivers are kind, efficient, and never call asking where my house is like Doordash drivers tend to. The beer selection is solid as well as the wings they offer. Haven't had a bad pizza at this place, ever! read more

I used to go in here YEARS ago and they really cleaned it up. A nice selection of beer on tap (if a bit mainstream -- you will not find out of the mainstream -- Racer 5, Little Sumpthin', Great White, etc.). I did not go during happy hour but they have $2 happy hour (I think it is every weekday. The pizza tastes just like you expect from a NY pizza place. Thin, big slices -- the kind you can fold over and still fit in your mouth. I went because I had the late night munchies (8 p.m. is late for me) and ordered a beer (Lagunitas IPA) and a slice of cheese pizza. The bar tender was super helpful and the slice came out in about 5 minutes. $10 later, with tip included, late night munchies satisfied. Love it! read more

Decided to try this pizza parlor for some takeout after reading the great reviews. I got acknowledged by staff as soon as I walked in the door. Felt comfortable as I took in the room, dough being tossed in the air out of the corner of my eye. We ordered the Central Park, juicy artichoke, cooked garlic and tomato on top of a pleasantly crisp crust. Really enjoyed the pie, a tad on the moist side because of the artichokes and tomatoes, but not to the point of soggy aqueousness. Really looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu and trying other pies on my next visit. Cheers to staying open late until 3am some nights, awesome for pie seeking night owls. read more

The sauce is flavorless and watered down, the cheese is rubber, the crust is always undercooked and bland, and you will die of hunger before you get your pizza, because even pick-up orders take 45 mins or more! You can literally taste the lack of effort. I've always enjoyed NY Pie's pizza, but I was extremely disappointed and frustrated to see that they were not enforcing mask wearing for their customers, and the employees were either removing their masks regularly to talk or allowing their noses to be free out the top. I was walking to this place and met a friendly young woman. She told me good things about this restaurant. I was thinking, "Wow! This place has a great reputation." It turns out she works there! She was walking to work. Luckily, everything she told me was true. The pizza is great, the staff friendly, and it's a fun little place. I was waiting for my pizza and the employees were very busy making pizza in the back. They seemed to be having fun having fun at the same time. They were joking around and throwing crumpled up balls of paper at each other. It's good to see a restaurant staff getting along. It usually means they work well together. If their pizza is any gauge, they work very well together indeed. The hand tossed crust was light and delicious. The sauce was tangy but didn't overpower the other ingredients. The cheese was delicious and perfectly melted. They didn't skimp on the toppings either. There were plenty and-they-were-good! I've never been to New York City. I think this pizza is great. I would agree with one of the reviewer's that the blue cheese is amazing! Not creamy but thick and tangy. I have been to Buffalo, New Yorkand I love NY pie's buffalo wings. The hot is amazing. I don't see how anyone could eat the habanero ones, but there are insane people everywhere...
