If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I came to look for a pricing quote on a pair of Oakley glasses and prescription lens. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. They refused to give me a quote without evidence of prescription, which I did not bring with me. The reason for why they couldn't simply look it up was even more ridiculous where they stated they can't provide me with even a range on the pricing because they would have to create a dummy account and it would be confusing for their staff. One of the staff even rolled their eyes which was extremely frustrating. I recommend everyone to stay away from this store. read more

My past two visits at the Oakley store have been great. The first time I went I bought frogsplash oakleys. The guy that helped me noticed the lenses had a scratch on them so he replaced them free of charge. The second visit I brought some old frogsplash frames and had old damaged lenses replaced with a different color. The lady that helped me was named Chao and she was really helpful. She has very good customer service skills. Truly made my shopping fun and easy. I went through about 5 different colors and thought I made my mind up until she made a really great recommendation. My first stop at any Oakley Vault store is their Clearance section. This held true for my first visit to this particular store at San Francisco Premium Outlet mall in Livermore, CA. A couple times a year we make the trek to the Livermore outlets. Like every trip my husband always stops at Oakley. He loses his glasses so frequently that a stop is always on the itinerary. Today was no exception. Upon walking in we were greeted by the store manager Mitch. He was so helpful and attentive. Not only did he help my husband find the exact glasses that he brought in damaged he also helped our son find his perfect pair. My husband liked the pair Mitch helped our son with, he got a pair too. I enjoyed chatting with Mitch about his home state of WV and some of the places we've all lived while their computer system slowly limped along. Very knowledgeable, patient and incredibly kind. This place seriously has some great deals on snowboarding jackets, pants, windbreakers, and hoodies. And I mean legitimately cheap, averaging of about 30-70% off. Check out the sale on goggles, you might find some good ones. Many of the shops in this outlet call themselves an a discount store, but their prices really don't reflect that; This store however does! I'm really happy that I can collect their older eyewear models at a discounted price too. I've also chatted with a couple of the employees, and they were really cool and outgoing. read more

Poor customer service. I spent up to $3,000 a year on Oakley products and the sales staff at this place is a lousy excuse for sales staff. Manager was not attentive. If you do not like your job, don't work there. A good way for Oakley to lose a valued customer. I would have given the place a zero if I could. What a disappointment. read more

Even though they were not on the shelf the Oakley Team Member was able to create some with the frames and lenses. Custom sunglasses that nobody else has. I like that uniqueness. While searching for a birthday gift for my husband I came across the Oakley Vault at Paragon Outlets. This was on the third day of the grand opening. I was warmly greeted upon entrance and had great service from the young man helping me make a choice on sunglasses. Two things keep this from getting more stars. The manager, I assume manager, took the time to lecture the salesperson helping me, while i was standing there, about locking the cabinet. I get you need to keep your merchandise safe. What I didn't like was how I felt like he thought I, the paying customer, was going to steal something from the case. Sunglasses range in price from about $80 to upwards of over $180. I like the gascan styles but the Pitbull ones were interesting too. Second was the grand opening VIP coupon 'good for any item' that was declined by the same 'manager'. He said it didn't apply to eye wear but I was free to choose apparel. What about 'any item' was he confused about? Eh...I got my sunglasses and left probably not to return any time soon. read more

I paid the high price for their sunglasses from this Oakley Vault believing that they would cover a stem falling off their expensive sunglasses due to a small pin breakage. But NO. The purchaser needs to keep the receipt. Who keeps paper receipts of all their purchases? They would do good to log customers into their data base to back up their guarantee. After loosing my first pair of Oakley sunglasses, which is easy to do, I paid the price for another pair thinking that they'd hold up but, their sunglasses not worth the price as there are similar sunglasses on the market for a fraction of the price of Oakley that hold up just as well. read more

I've been an Oakley sunglasses customer for years. I bought my last pair on the Vault website, and the value was very good. I had some interest in the physical locations, and I went to the location in Great Mall in Milipitas, where one of their sales people broke a clip on my current sunglasses, but was able to repair and clean them. Feeling a bit more conservative, I headed to this outlet mall location. I was greeted quickly, and the sales person was willing to learn what I wanted and showed me various sunglasses. He also let me know that I could buy one regular price frame, and get one clearance frame at 50%. In the long run, I bought one of the clearance sets. Instead of $220, the sunglasses came to $169.00. That's still quite a lot, and I never thought I'd be buying a set over $150, but it seemed a good discount. However, they came with two sets of lenses, the protective case, and bag. (It may be helpful to note that I've had my previous pair since 2011 and I still use the pair before that, which I got in late 2004. How long should they last?) At the end, he showed me how easy it was to switch the lenses. Also, I didn't get the sunglasses from the counter, but another set that had not been out. They also refilled my cleaning fluid, which is a lifetime service when you buy the cleaning kit. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Paid over 500$ for my husband to have prescription glasses done there by Chau. Receive an email 2 weeks later saying to pick up lenses only. We call confused and she is stating we took our frames home which we did not. Said she'd review video footage next day with manager so we were happy to be proven innocent. Only to get a call back 10 minutes later saying her and manager don't care enough to continue in a conversation to find a solution and we should contact corporate. Feels like a racially motivated hate crime against my Hispanic husband if your not even willing to do bare minimum of reviewing footage to show we didn't take anything but instead insisting he stole the frames and would have to pay again if we want lenses we bought to be inside a frame. This place sucks and we've given so much of our money to them over the years it's disappointing. Reported to BBB and are now in contact with corporate. Chau is a terrible communicator to high paying customers. Attitude, lying, and then to hang up on a customer? Don't recommend this store at all read more

When cruising the outlets recently I saw a nice backpack in the window. Not a huge Oakley fan because I never felt a connection with all the over priced glasses and etcetera that they offer here. Went in to see if they still had the backpack and they did. The staff here were really nice and chatted with us while we checked out the backpack. I was disappointed that the prices of the outlet are not the best that Oakley has to offer though (a quick google search determined this). However they were able to price-match with their website, so this made me happy. Not sure when I will buy from them again since this is my first purchase from an Oakley store ever, but at least they train there staff well. read more

Terrible customer service and I feel duped! I went to buy my husband a gift about a week ago Aug 28th. I specifically asked them if I buy it and he wants to come back and check out the smaller type and prefers that could we swap it. They said yes as long as we brought it back within 30 days as purchased. I was very specific with my intention and got confirmation or I would not have bought it. I gave it to him 2 days ago September 4 for our anniversary still in packaging as purchased. He tried it on and we came to the store now 2 days later with the glasses "as purchased" and not used. When trying to swap it for the smaller version the lady tells us she can't because there was this tiniest scratch saying we dropped it or scratched it in my purse. We literally just bought it, it was still in its packaging and bag and we never dropped it nor carried it in my purse. This is how they sold it to me and I never checked when I bought it because I trusted they were selling me a new pair. She then goes on to say their employees always check before sale. How do I know they checked? How does she know they checked? They never specifically called it out or showed me them checking. They just gave it to me in the packaging. I'm so disappointed. I should never have shopped there. On a side note when we walked in all the staff were standing in a group complaining about something about Oakley in their region. How unprofessional. Anyway I didn't want to stand there and argue. They duped me and will defend themselves what can I do? Just think twice before shopping here. There are other option with better service. read more

The staff are awesome and super helpful. I was hunting for a new pair of sunglasses and this is one of several stores at the outlet mall that have a large selection of sunglasses. Unfortunately, I didn't exactly see any discounts on their sunglasses except for those that were on clearance. I wasn't expecting a big discount but I thought they would have a selection that was slightly less expensive than a regular Oakley store or oakley.com but that was not the case. Despite that, they have a large selection of sunglasses as well as apparel. I wasn't really shopping for clothing so I can't comment on the pricing there. read more

If I could give it no stars I would. All of the employees treated me as if I had no idea what I was talking about. The manager, on the phone, assured me that they had "plenty" of the sunglasses i wanted in stock. When I arrived after a 20 minute drive they said "oh we're sorry we actually only have displays of those if you want to buy them you can". They seriously tried to sell me the display glasses that everyone touches and try's on. The only thing they could offer me was a sorry for wasting your time but that's all they could do. Avoid Oakley like plague. Bought $200+ sunglasses from them and within 6months they have scratches and some weird bubbles on them. I took them back to store today and as per the store manager this is very normal behavior. Their iridium coating on sunglasses is sensitive to the sun. Customer is supposed to protect the sunglasses from Sun :) They get one star for creativity of explanation. read more

Was having problem with my Oakley turbine glasses went to talk to the manager about the rubber on the earpiece deteriorating he said yeah that's normal probably from sweat he had a really bad attitude about the whole thing over $10 earpieces which I had no problem paying for I asked if they would install them I bought new lenses about 2 months ago when I left it wasn't very sunny outside as there are awnings . But when I got in the car to meet the in-laws at the restaurant down the street I noticed there was a scratch on the inside perfectly in the center in line of vision there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that this was caused by the same person I believe his name is Cole supposably the manager I would not suggest getting anything from this store when I called back to tell him about this he said I did not scratch your glasses I did not scratch your glasses I did not scratch your glasses just like that. Went it there last evening with the intention of buying another pair of Oakleys' as I love my current one. While looking at the apparel on display, I casually asked the guy standing there folding clothes if they can tighten my current sunglasses (which other places like sunglasses hut or macys or any store easily do. ) and that guy looked totally uninterested in my question, on asking second time without even looking at my sunglasses he said they can't do it, they can only fix Oakley brand, and when I said mine are OAKLEYS then he got defensive and gave weird reasons for not doing it. In nutshell, poor customer service, as a result a they lost a perspective customer, who'll definitely advise his spouse and friends to stay away from that store, not the brand. Selected 3 pairs of sunglasses from their sales display. I had staff hold glasses while I went to ATM. Upon my return the price had been removed from one pair. They denied removing it and was charging $50 more than the missing price tag had listed. They also told me the price on one of the other pairs was wrong with the actual price $50 higher .
