This place is a must see. My mistake is I went on a gloomy rainy day and didn't get to enjoy the full beauty of this site, but I enjoyed myself nonetheless. There is a kitchen to get small foods above the bar area, along with a beautiful full restaurant and nice vintage shops to buy unique things. There is a record store that will be visited by me often. The liquor collection is impressive and the bartender serving us knew his stuff! If you love sitting out on a deck, overlooking the lake and enjoying good food and drinks-this is the place for you. There is also a large fire pit outside with seats around it. If you are looking for an overhyped spot, with expensive food and no service, you've found it. After spending $70 for two burgers and one side of fries, I tipped the bar manger, Brian, my usual 20%. I confirmed that he would bring the food to the table, and he said oh no, we don't do that, we are only counter service. Three guys stood behind the bar, the place was empty, and still they expected me to pay them 20% tip and walk up and collect my own food.... Wow. The food is mediocre, the service is terrible, the attitude of this team was shockingly poor. So that's fine), we ordered 3 items and they only gave us one and the guy took my call alarm and about to walk away, so I asked him where are my other two items, and he looked confused then asked me, else you ordered? So I told him what they were, and took him a minute to look around, and it was sitting right next to the first item, but he just simply looked confused! This brewery is located just above and to the side of the traditional oasis restaurant and is a great alternative to a sit-down dining experience without having to compromise on the view. Additionally, they have food here in case you're hungry and on the hot summer days there is plenty of shaded spots which help to create a barrier between the strong UV rays. We arrived around 6pm on a Friday and it looked pretty slow. We ordered a couple of beers, and a pretzel. The pretzel tasted like a day old pretzel that was left out, and then reheated in the microwave for 20 seconds. It was tough, and just barely warm. Yikes! Now for the beer - I got an orange pale ale, and it was okay. My husband ordered a Kolsch, and he said the same thing of his. I'm not as knowledgeable on beer as he is, but his quote was "they taste almost like the same beer. Kind of hoppy" The only reason we will be coming back is for the views. Just go! You won't regret it. Everything is was amazing! We had French fries and avocado dip to go with our beers. Fries comes with a truffle aioli. For the beers we had Grand Cru Dark Ale and Samurai Lager. The Grand Cru Dark Ale comes in a small cup. The server assured me that was a good amount unless I was really found of dark ale. Once seated, looking over the restaurant's menu we opted to go back to the Brewery. And we're glad we did. Hubbs got the K-pop chicken sandwich. I got the Ranger burger. We split the sweet potato fries. You guys..... The food was fricken amazing. If the owners are reading this. RAISE YOUR PRICES. (Sorry customers!) I'm as frugal as they come. Better than the Oasis but not spectacular. The view is great, but the food is mediocre and the prices are steep. I think this place is only meant for dudes who really appreciate beer, and I do not. The place is kind of hard to find in the Oasis plaza (go up a lot of stairs). When you get there, you see a very casual environment. Order at the bar, then find a seat outside. The view is the only reason you came here anyway. They have a lot of tables, but only a few right by the edge. We had to wait around for prime seats. I had the special: lamb poutine and a beer for $15. Way overpriced. Just a few fries, way-too-chewy chunks of lamb, covered in gravy. The beer was huge though. My daughter's kids meal was only $5, but boy was it tiny! They called it a burger, but it was really just a dry slider. Disappointing. We had a good friend from Chicago that came in for the UT vs USC tailgate/game. We wanted to show him around so we stopped by the Oasis, the area with a beautiful view. We went to the very top and stopped here. I had the Himly 2016 Rose. It was tasty and definitely the dryness is noticeable. A friend had the Crystal Blonde beer and they recommend it. For food, we all ordered something different. A couple had the special of a fancy grilled cheese with tomato bisque. They stated it's only average. I had the beyond vegan burger bowl & added cucumber. I was going to add an egg as well but didn't feel just to pay $2 for it. Lol The bowl was good overall but I will note that they should have diced the vegetables and the coconut rice didn't have much of a coconut taste. My hubby had the bibimbap bowl and gave it a 4 out of 5. They cost about $12-13 so the bowl can be bigger. The service was good. Staff were friendly and smiled. My husband had a question about watching a particular game and a person came out to explain to him personally that they don't have the NFL package so they can't pick and choose. That was a nice gesture to take the time to come out and talk to him. He might have been the manager. The food is of quality but the pricing is a bit steep compared to others. Aw hell. I don't want to review this place... as large as it is, the line to get in on weekends at sunset are getting longer. Yelp has been there for me so now it's my duty to share. Overcast or sunny, the views of Lake Travis and it's scalloped shores are great by anyone's standard. Hawks nest nearby and their flight is a show. In contrast to the tightly packed and kitschy The Oasis next door, the Brewery has a clean, laid back and very spacious look. It's also perched higher (third floor!) so the view is better. I agree with Jennifer that the signage on how to get there could be improved, but just keep climbing the stairs for three flights. The beers are award-winning and for good reason. The London Homesick Ale is my go-to but the Meta Modern Session IPA is a close second. I can recommend the fried chicken sandwich, too. It's a bit greasy (I like it!) with a yummy purple slaw. Haven't eaten anything else, but I sure plan to. There are two bars, so you won't have to wait long to get your brew, and misters for those hot days, though the breezes up there are glorious. Do take sun glasses and a hat that fits well (it'll take off if it doesn't!) if you're headed there on a sunny day. In summary, don't go. Hell no! Stay the heck away. This place is at the top of the oasis complex shopping/restaurant center. I feel not enough people know to skip the overrated oasis restaurant and go straight to the brewing company! Their food is really good. The sizes are fairly big. They had a huge selection of beer. And I'd you get there early enough you can snag the best seats next to the railing and watch the sunset. It is first come first serve. You can bring your dog! The service is always quick. I've gone on all days of weeks and weekends during all types of hours and I've always received the best service and the food is always good! read more

The last time I was in this area, the Oasis restaurant (the guys next door) was just finished building out and opening their doors. Fast forward to last weekend, a friend of mine told me Oasis is now a little village with more shops and more restaurants. Crazy how things change over time! Parking is nearly impossible so arrive early. I highly recommend the parking garage as the regular parking lots fill up quick and people literally fight for spots. There is no waiter service here. You walk up to the counter and order your food and drinks there and then they bring it out. Their beers are excellent and food it outstanding. Definitely rivals the restaurant next door as I don't remember anything totally mind blowing from them. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my friend ordered the duck me that's good (poutine). We decided to go splitzys on our meals to get some variety with our meals. Chicken sandwich was awesome as were the fries. I would recommend to eat the poutine first as they can get a bit soggy. They allow our furry family members to join us on the patio and by the end of the night, our puppy was getting restless. I don't normally write 1-star reviews, but this place deserves it. I've eaten lunch here several times, and every time the food has been horrifically bad. What broke the camel's back for me was my most recent visit when I ordered the Salmon Chimichurri. I wish I had taken a photos of the "salmon", but it was the size and shape of a rectangular hash brown, but even thinner and just as burned to a crisp. There was less than a thimble of Chimmichurri sauce on it. Horrible. On top of that there are signs all over the place saying there is a mandatory 20% service fee. This is a place where you order at the counter, you pick up your own food at the counter, and you are expected to bus your own table! They literally do nothing for that 20% tip. Outrageous! On this 3rd visit I only had one beer and a poorly made salad on site, but I still decided to purchase a hat, koozie, and cheap plastic shades. They applied the 20% tip to the merch as well, and my bill was closer to $120, larger than my downtown hotel rate. Didn't even get to see my receipt before they charged my card on file. Located on the hill overlooking lake Travis the Oasis Texas Brewing Company is an awesome concept with lots of bars around the property as well as restaurants. You walk up order your food and drinks and grab a spot outside overlooking the lake or you can also sit inside. We were here for a quick lunch before a wedding and had some light bites but they did not disappoint. We got the Bretzel which is a giant pretzel. The kimchi brat which was oh so good and the truffle fries. The food was delicious and greatly paired with a nice cold beer. The views is certainly what makes this place worth the visit. Overall great service. Great views equals a great time and perfect for day drinking and some fun as they have corn hole and games outside as well. Way to go Oasis Brewery. Most people say when they travel they want to go to the less touristy places for all the usual reasons but this place is different. Not to be confused with the Oasis Restaurant where indeed, the food meets the expectation of a tourist place (bad). On the contrary, the Oasis Texas Brewery is this badass place that has badass food with a badass view of Lake Travis and all the houses you can't afford. It sits higher than all the restaurants and isn't jammed packed during lunch. It is the busiest during sunset but there's so much space and viewership I'd still recommend. Live music sometimes, fireplace during the colder months. . . . The Wagyu Burger is juicy and cooked medium rare. It has a special sauce on it and although I don't typically like arugula but with a bit slab of juicy meat it'll do. The bun is just a regular bun though, would've been better if it was toasted. They also have Poutine! Have you ever had? Well this is the best fat kid dish that is Canada's main jam. It's a pile of crispy French Fries with fatty stuff on top. In this case, they make it with Duck Confit, with Duck Gravy and Fried Egg on top. They brew their own beer, afterall it s a brewery, and if you have enough friends (like just pull together one will do) you can pretty much have a flight of all the draft beers they have on hand. read more

This place could be great - but they don't want to be. The redeeming qualities are the breathtaking view of Lake Travis with its north facing outdoor deck and its rustic interior. It's clear that there's ample room for live music and the exterior has a number of fans blowing mist to keep you cool on a hear The service at this venue, however, is terrible. There were scarcely a dozen customers and it was mostly manned by a very young workforce that wasn't very professional. We had a number of people who ordered separately, the staff put all our orders on one tray, and when we asked whose order was on the tray, the employee acted annoyed that we were asking as if we were automatically supposed to know. I was there with my family and mom asked for sugar at the counter. They pointed her to sweetener, shrugged and said "that's all we got". Either this place is poorly stocked or the staff is too lazy to care. Maybe they were all just stoned. The food was underwhelming as well. We had the creole chicken sandwich with a honey sauce which would have been great if they didn't over-fry it to oblivion. We also had the Bretzel, which was cold for some reason and scarcely better than what you get at a ballpark. The veggie burger was forgettable as well. The beer menu reminds me of my California buddy's fridge - riding on the assumption that a couple hop heavy IPA's and lackluster light brews will carry the party. Outside of the hops forward items. We also had the Cavier Lager and my wife had the Strawberry Kiwi Gose, but wouldn't order them again. Their beer menu totally lacked the dark beers that Texas is on the map for. Do the brewers think it's wiser to compete against the West Coast brewers? I can't think of a single SoCal brewery that fields worse beer than this.
