This is adjacent the La Sierra Grocery and it has the most incredible burritos! The carnitas are extremely flavorful and I like the turmeric tofu as well. They allow you to build your own burrito, bowl, salad(there are 5 choices) then you can choose your protein(there are also five choices) carnitas, turmeric tofu... and they make incredible sauces as well. Then you chose your vegetable(we always get avocado). Top it off with a sauce. Try the red pepper sauce or the avocado ginger sauce or the vegan cream (they have 5)(we like the vegan cream). Love this place! So many options, as a vegan that's hard to find. I had the steak burger which was pretty darn tasty, especially with the dressing. The tomato on it didn't look too fresh but the other toppings were perfect. The fries could've been a little more crunchy, they seem like oven baked fries but they're not bad. On of my favorite place to eat when shopping at the market and you want to stay healthy while grocery shop. It's healthy and it's non gmo and gluten free. The first time I ate there I was reluctant to because I am use to fast food and not tofu mix but after I tried it I was hooked despite the price for the bowls it's amazing, filling, and mouth watering to have. I've been to tons of vegan places all around the IE and LA area and multiple beach areas... even in the OC and I went here today.... this is for sure one of my top places. I got a veggie burger meal (gluten free bun which was delicious- not dense or dry like other gf buns) with mushrooms and the avocado ginger spread, a side of lentil soup, and I also got a jackfruit taco! I can put away some food and after all of this (including a fresh and very delicious ginger juice) I felt great! I love food that gets me full but where I don't feel heavy and gross- you can tell it's fresh. It was super delicious too, my boyfriend got a smoothie and he's not veggie or veg but he liked it!! I decided to get their ice cream sandwich too and it's huge!!!! For what, $5? It's GIANT!! And delicious!!!! I'm not a picky eater but I do know good veg food when I eat it and this place is amazing, fresh, and well priced. I live about 45 minutes away and plan on making the drive again soon! Good vegetarian food with some gluten free options. Not that impressed with the menu change recently, we have been coming here for years (my boyfriend has for 10 years) and the menu before was great! The new menu is kind of confusing but once you go a couple times it's easy to understand. That's understandable with any menu change though. I feel like they took out a lot of food that was different in flavor and now they just have a bowl,burrito or taco which all kind of encompass the same essentials. The new sides are good we love the plantains but I'm an OG French fry girl so I'm really missing the regular fries with my burger haha! But I respect the healthy changes they are making. Overall it's good food, the best place To go for vegetarians in the IE. I give them Props for adjusting the menu for healthier options but I really miss some of the old items as well! This yummy and AMAZING cafe is located just outside the health foods store it's attached to. You walk up to place your order and you have the choice to dine outside on the patio or inside the food store, where they have several tables available, as well as complimentary lemon cucumber water. Stopped by for lunch with a friend and was impressed with what they had. We ended up getting a burrito with the tofu and it was really good! We also got the potato wedges on the side. I was impressed with the food and the different options they had to choose from. They had seating both inside and outside and they bring your food to you. The only complaint I could even have was that it was a little pricey, about $15 for the combo. The food was good though! Would go again. read more
