The Walmart manager refers me to JR's. I go to JR's and I'm worried they won't install the tires since I got the tires elsewhere. Nope. JR himself gives an amazing warm welcome, gave me a more than fair install price per tire, and started on it immediately. No waiting. The guys are now my only stop for tires and wheels. I'd just bought a new set of tires for my car from Costco, but they don't do wheel alignments…read more Looking on Yelp I saw Tire Outlet in Fullerton and all the positive reviews they have, so I decided to give them a try. I made an appointment online for 2:00pm on a Tuesday. When I got there, I learned that they were a bit backed up and it would take between 1.5 and 2 hours. I understand how things like that can happen, but I didn't want to wait that long so I asked when might be a better time, and they said at 8:00am I'd most likely be at the front of the line, so I arranged to be there the following morning. Sure enough, the alignment only took about 30 mins. Tony gave me a printout of the measurements before and after for my car so I could see exactly what had been done in terms of camber, caster, toe, etc. for each wheel. Overall, I was very pleased with the whole operation, thanks to Tony and Miguel for their helpful and friendly assistance. I'll be sure to check out Tire Outlet the next time I need new tires!

A few month back, they advised me they couldn't properly perform an alignment because the tires on our car were too worn. Other shops might've just done the job with an "oh well"attitude. Even though the car was near needing new tires, I was not pushed to immediately buy them (that's happened with a different car at a factory dealer). Recently, I was researching new tires for my SUV and was offered a few choices. Honestly, whoever is in charge of their customer service training needs a promotion. From the second I walked in, every employee I interacted with was incredibly polite and professional. They all wear sharp polos with their name clearly marked. Refreshing was that there is no sketchiness or feeling like there was a catch. They did offer a tire warranty, which I skipped for one of my cars. But I actually bought it for my EV since electric cars are nail magnets, and I'm already at the break-even point after just one claim. There was no high-pressure upselling at all. They thoroughly explained every cost detail, and when I brought in a competitor's online quote, they matched the out-of-the-door price with zero hassle. The waiting lobby is actually nice to sit in, too. Plenty of space, workstations, free Wi-Fi, coffee, and water. Plus, the location is easy to get to right off the freeway. Service is fast, especially compared to Costco where you basically have to leave your car for the entire day. You also get free rotations and flat fixes. They have a sign on the wall from the founder, Bruce T. Halle, about being honest, working hard, and paying it forward. Usually, that stuff is just corporate lip service, but these guys actually live it. Their professionalism really shines. Highly, highly recommend!

There were no cars behind me, and the location didn't appear to be particularly busy. Despite that, the employees working inside completely ignored me. They were too busy singing along to music and goofing around to acknowledge that a customer was waiting for service. Eventually, someone told me, "My guys are busy right now, but we will help you," while walking away. When I pointed out that they seemed more busy messing around than actually helping customers, someone finally came over. Once someone did help, they filled my tires to the PSI I requested, so I appreciate that part. I had just driven back from the desert after off-roading and needed to adjust my tire pressure. I could have done it myself at home, but having a tire shop handle it was simply more convenient. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't worth the hassle. To make matters worse, the employee who helped us forgot to put the valve stem caps back on my rear tires. I didn't notice until I got home, so now I'm having to purchase replacements for something that should have been put back on my truck in the first place. It's frustrating because this could have been such a simple interaction. Acknowledge the customer, provide the requested service, and make sure everything is put back together before they leave. Instead, I was ignored while employees joked around, and then the job wasn't even completed properly. For a business that specializes in tires, I expect better attention to detail and much better customer service.

They told me I needed a new set of tires so I should just replace them all. I told them I just got my tires 2 years ago from the dealership. They said the dealership sold me tires that were in storage for 2 years before I got them (pointed to the date of manufacturing) and that warps the tires due to being in the sun and whatnot. Lucky for me they had a great deal on 4 tires for $1100. Why didn't I question any of this? The guy seemed very nice and I was so stressed from having a flat tire and blocking traffic for 30 minutes and very frazzled so I just agreed. After about an hour the guy tells me I need new front brake pads as they've worn down to 1mm. I told him I just got new brake pads one year ago. He shakes his head and tells me whoever installed them must've given me poor quality brake pads or I'm an aggressive driver. I tell him I'm not interested but he keeps insisting telling me if I didn't replace them now it would cause "metal on metal" and destroy my rotors and I would be causing way more serious damage which would become costly. Did I want to pay a few hundred dollars now to replace the pads or thousands later because I didn't do what I was supposed to? I don't know anything about cars. Don't even know what brake pads look like at this point and he's talking fast and showing me the pads and acting extremely concerned about my welfare and last thing I wanted was another big expense so I agreed. I asked him to take pictures of my pads with my phone which he did and while they're fixing my car I called up the place that originally did my brakes and of course they defend themselves. Who am I to believe? I Google some pictures of worn brake pads to compare to the pictures of my own and what I saw on my car, and it really looks to me that my original brake pads look quite new! I estimated that the part I'm actually supposed to measure was about half an inch just based on what I actually saw in person while he was talking fast and taking the pictures, which Google tells me is actually equivalent to 8mm! I get upset and ask them to bring my old brake pads out and I want them to measure and show me exactly where it's 1mm and of course they bring out pads that look nothing like my picture. I told them these don't look anything like what's in my picture- they're not my pads and also not 1mm- they were 2 or 3 but still way thinner than what I had just seen on my car and in the pictures. It also took them a long time to find my brake pads even though they just took them off. It was at that point I realized they were complete liars and I wasn't going to get anywhere with them at this point and I was made a fool. Then they tell me they're getting my new pads from some warehouse and it'll be here soon. Of course before I signed the papers they told me all the parts were already there and should be done quickly. I asked them why are parts being delivered when they said all were in stock?! Oh because they meant the parts are here locally in Southern California. Lies after lies. I can go on but I'll stop here. It isn't just the fact that I got scammed into getting new brake pads and possibly new tires, but also the fact that I probably had legit pads in there already and they might have replaced it with $hitty ones because at this point I would expect no less from this place. They prey on women and elderly (I saw an elderly man in a walker come in crying about having paid for 4 new tires but they only replaced 1 and left him with 3 old tires. I don't know how and if that was resolved so won't comment more on that). I also notice there are some five star reviews here from people who came in to get a new tire but also left with new brake pads much like my own situation. They're probably giving 5 star reviews not knowing they were talked into replacing perfectly fine brake pads. Save your money headache and the feeling of being gaslit up your a$$ and go elsewhere. I specifically told this place to CHECK MY TIRES and told them my situation. I told them i have been driving my car with around 2 months with psi around high 30s already so the light would not just turn on all of a sudden especially after I hit something on the freeway so I wanted them to check carefully because maybe its not the tire pressure. ( after they told me about the PSI being too high ) they did not do something alternatively or try to lift it up or put it in the water to see if there is any leaks. They kept telling me its too high PSI and they helper me lowered it. Fine I trusted them and now it turned on again and less air on one of the tires because it was slowly leaking air. Its funny how they are still defending their actions lol. Come on dude, you guys effed up, own it and try to do better next time. I dont mind paying tor service or whatever because my purpose of going there is to finding the problem instead of "GUESSING" the problem. If i'm not that of a professional and I already suspected and told you it might not be that way, maybe you guys need to reconsider your knowledge or effort on running the sshop" ************************************ I came here a couple of days ago trying to get my tires check out because of "low tire pressure". 30 mins prior to the light came on, my car's front hood was hit by a flying metal piece and I don't remember running over anything. I went to the gas station after the light came on to check the tire pressure for all 4 tires. All 4 tires are at 40 psi ( should be 35 based on my cars setting ). I have driven for 20 years and i never had my warning message on because the psi was too high. Obviously I know it is recommended that the psi should be at factory recommendation but again, more tire pressure shouldn't trigger a "low tire pressure" message to come on. I drove to King's auto repair & tires because it was the closest to my location. A gentleman came out and greeted me when i parked in front of the store. He was super nice and he told me to drive to the back and check it out. I drove to the back and explained everything to him. I stated i want to see if any of my tires have any nails or are leaking. A coupe of workers came out and beginning to help and checked out the tires pressure. The workers there checked and found the tires pressure around 40 ( what i already knew because i checked at the gas station ). The gentleman that works there ( maybe hes the manager or owner ) was speaking to me about the issue most likely be because of too much air. I stated to him that it doesn't make sense at all. All he told me was the same thing. It might be too much tire pressure so they lowered all 4 tires to 35 psi and recalibrate it. ( in my mind, I could've done the same thing if this is what you are helping me with. All i wanted was you actually lift it up and check my tires or do something more than just check the tire pressures. ) Anyways, since they are the "professionals", i respected their advice and feedback and drove it back home. After 20 minutes of driving, right before i drive onto my driveay, the light came on again. . The good thing was, now i am able to take my car to the shop I usually take my car to. I really do appreciate their help especially they did not charge me money at all. They are super nice so i can't say they are bad. But lets be honest here...there are so many ted flags here and they still gave me an advice that was not very helpful or professional.
