Our waiter & service was fantastic. Food was presented beautifully. Everything was delicious. We started with Tuna Tartare and a selection of warm breads. Our entrees were fabulous. Sea scallops with sweet pea risotto, and rib steak for my husband. It was a wonderful meal!

Everything was incredible except my steak, and since that was the main dish, I gave it 3 stars. I would like to shout out our server Frank out, he was so attentive, helpful, and overall made our experience better. What we ordered: -The cocktails: 10/10, expensive but beautiful presentations and tasty, my favorite was berries and bubbles. -Goat cheese ravioli: 10/10, 6 total, very delicious in a lemon cream with peppers and mushrooms -Bread basket: 8/10, pretzels were a little firm but everything tasted great and we loved the butter -Dynamite Roll, 9/10: good size for sharing, felt very fresh -14oz NY Strip *Oscar Style*(boyfriends): 10/10, cooked perfectly, Oscar style comes with Bernadine sauce, asparagus, topped with crab and Hollandaise sauce -16 oz ribeye (mine): 1/10, chewy, overcooked, couldn't appreciate any flavor because it was so painful to chew. -Sides: whipped garlic mash 10/10, Gouda tater tots 6/10 (could have bought these as frozen cheese curds at the grocery store) -Butter cake: 10/10, beautiful presentation, absolutely delicious.

Overall an up scale restaurant that had its good and bad dishes. King crab dish: market price was about $150. For such an expensive dish, it severely disappointed. The crab was dry and overcooked. Flavor was lackluster at best. Came with a few sticks of asparagus and potatoes Lobster bisque: creamy and smooth. However the broth and lobster ratio was not proportionate. At the end I was left with too much broth that tasted a bit too salty without anything to balance it out Crème brûlée: the only dish I'd go back for. Supreme texture and perfect level of sweetness and flavor

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. My daughter brought me here for mother's day and we had a great time. All the food was delicious.

One of the best restaurants in seaport. The service and food is always great. I would advise to always make a reservation as they can get very busy. Even if you have a reservation there is always usually a bit of a wait time. For an app I got a Caesar salad and point Judith calamari. Both were amazing! I got the filet and it was cooked perfectly and tender. I got a side of béarnaise sauce and it was good but overpriced for what it was. The warm butter cake was so delicious, melts in your mouth. The restaurant itself is clean and classy. You can't ever go wrong !

Prime Roll ($26) - Tempura Shrimp, Cream Cheese, Scallion, Beef Carpaccio Boyfriend: 10/10 * Me: 7.5/10 -- Rich, indulgent, and beautifully balanced. Creamy Clam Chowder ($12 cup) - Littleneck Clams, Smoked Bacon, Oyster Crackers 8/10 -- Needed more bacon flavor and seasoning; wished for more clams, but still better than Legal Seafood. Blackened Snapper ($57) - Corn Spoon Bread, Swiss Chard, Corn Emulsion 8/10 -- First fish was overcooked (they insisted on remaking it), and I'm so glad they did. The second was incredibly moist. The corn spoon bread pairing is unreal, and I usually don't even like snapper. Ahi Tuna ($54) - Mango, Avocado, Cashews, Spicy Sesame Soy Glaze 9/10 -- Fresh and flavorful, but could've used a bit more citrus to brighten it up. Bacon Creamed Spinach ($16) 8/10 -- Very bacon-forward, slightly salty, but delicious. Warm Butter Cake ($20) - Fresh Berries, Vanilla Ice Cream, Raspberry Sauce 7/10 -- Good, but not mind-blowing. Overall: Definitely expensive and a lot overpriced, but the atmosphere is upscale, business-chic, and perfect for a special date night especially if you get a back room. The waitstaff is truly next level: incredibly personable, attentive, and genuinely invested in the guest experience not robotic at all. One of the best service experiences I've had in a long time.

The service was wonderful, we walked in without a reservation and were accommodated quickly. The truffle popcorn they serve with drinks was great. We sampled some of the potato dishes and filets. Everything was delicious

Ocean Prime absolutely delivered a birthday dinner to remember. From the moment I walked in, the dim elegant lighting and soft music created an inviting, luxurious ambiance. The restrooms were spotless before the meal, and that little detail made me feel like every part of the experience was thoughtfully considered. To start, we dived into the bread basket, warm Parker House loaf, crackers, pretzel bread, all served with whipped butter. The mix of textures and comforting warmth was the perfect opening to the meal. I also indulged in their Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, served with sweet and sour slaw and horseradish mustard aioli, which was a lovely balance of richness and tang. Then came the mains: My Blackened Snapper came plated beautifully with corn spoon bread, Swiss chard, and corn emulsion. My husband's Teriyaki Salmon was superbly paired with shiitake sticky rice and soy butter sauce. On the side, we had the Mac and Cheese, made with whole Maine lobster and Tillamook cheddar, creamy, indulgent, and decadently rich. We also enjoyed a side of Roasted Brussels Sprouts that were crisp, flavorful, and perfectly done. For drinks, I chose the mocktail version of Berries and Bubbles. It was gorgeous, refreshing, and full of flavor, a perfect surprise for someone who does not drink. Usually I feel like I am missing out when skipping alcohol, but not this time. The service was the crown jewel of the evening: attentive, warm, not annoying, and truly aimed at making the night flawless. Every moment felt intentional and elegant. All in all, the evening was a feast for the senses, with beautiful ambiance, thoughtful touches, and exquisite food. It was one of the best birthday dinners I could have asked for. If you want a spot that makes you feel treated, seen, and celebrated, Ocean Prime is it.

Excellent food apps are very tasty = ravioli, eggs were exceptional, and service was top notch, great view of the seaport area as well.

Came for Dine Out Boston, a good deal. Cushy place with good service. I enjoyed the French onion soup, pairing well with the complimentary bread basket. My main, however, of Chilean sea bass was bland, and the lobster in it was kinda rubbery. Couldn't finish. Finally, the butter cake was a delicious dessert but maybe even too rich.

Ocean Prime's version of Fillet Mignon au Poivre.

Had dinner at Ocean Prime last night with colleagues. Ordered the au Poivre Filet Mignon medium rare with the loaded baked potato. The steak arrived medium well and the potato ice cold. They promptly took back the dishes to address. Everyone finished their meals as mine returned. Temperature this time around was perfect, the sauce not so much. I'm no expert, but the au Poivre didn't seem prepared right. Service was great, meal was disappointing especially at that price point. They did comp my meal though.

Lisssssssten here. We all love ocean prime, no question. However, as a girl who has tried every seafood dish on their menu - this blackened snapper reigns supreme! In fact, I went back 2 weekends in a row just to confirm. The corn emulsion is so savory. The fish? Cooked to perfection. Light, airy, seasoned.. I mean, come on. The spoon cornbread underneath is delightful when it comes to adding texture. (I did modify the veggies b/c I wanted Brussels) -- and it's a hit! Last time I went, I also got the teriyaki salmon and it was divine. I loveeeeeed the sticky rice, salmon was cooked so nicely, and the sauce was the star. You can't leave without the warm butter cake. It's melt in your mouth delicious... like something your grandma would make. (I'd get the core cream on the side) to ensure the cake stays warm! As for the service, wonderful. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. 12/10.

10/10 would recommend. This place is great for an elevated date night or celebration. We started off with the lobster bisque which was delicious and had nice chunks of lobster. For dinner I had the 10oz filet and added on shrimp scampi which were huge and cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious! I'm still thinking about this meal days later.

Their menu online looked great and we were able to walk in with no reservations early on a Friday night, although they were starting to fill up more as we left. The crab cake was delish & my baby devoured most of it. The salmon salad was tasty but the salmon itself was very salty, salt was literally all I could taste. The lettuce was very crisp and fresh and everything else was good so I didn't feel the need to complain also with the consideration that the chef intended to make the salmon salty to pair with the rest of the dish. The vibe was nice, a bit elevated. My server Michael was great! I would definitely order the crab cake again and try many other items on the menu that all looked superb. Thanks Moxies!

It was a Sunday night and we didn't feel like going far for a meal. That's when we put the voucher to use as the Capiz is in the lobby of the hotel. We went for an early dinner. Walking into the restaurant, no one was there to greet us and there was no host stand. Finally, a server (who also turned out to be our server) told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose a four-top table. When it was time to order, we were dealing with a limited menu. I chose lobster quesadillas, which were listed under "appetizers". My husband chose the fish and chips. The quesadilla was sloppily made. Some pieces had hardly any cheese or lobster in them. Other pieces were overloaded with lobster and cheese. While it was all edible and the lobster was properly cooked, it still was underwhelming. My husband said the fish was well prepared, flaky and crispy at the same time. There were too many French fries, making the plate a bit messy. In a pinch, Capiz did fit the bill as we didn't feel like going far for a meal that day.
