    Cinnamon Roll French Toast

I've been coming here since nursing school at Cerritos College, so almost 9 years now, and the consistency is honestly what keeps me coming back. No matter how long it's been, the food and service are always good. I usually stop by after leaving night shift, and thankfully I normally don't have trouble getting seated early in the morning. Weekends after 9 a.m. are a different story though, this place gets PACKED, which honestly tells you how good it is. My go-to items are the Belgium waffle, cinnamon roll French toast, home style potatoes, and sausage links. Everything always comes out hot, fresh, and fast. They also have a huge menu, so there's something for everybody. The service is always friendly, even when they're super busy, and they do a great job keeping things moving. Definitely one of my comfort breakfast spots over the years.

Tucked on a corner across from Gahr High School, this small café is easy to miss, but don't! The place is packed with families, groups, and solo diners. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs & bacon (pro tip: drizzle the side salsa on top to have your mind blown ) and a giant latte I couldn't finish but was offered a to-go cup, which saved the day. Fast-paced and bustling, not the place to linger, but the food and coffee are worth every bite. Definitely coming back!

Great sandwich!!!After years of always getting the same thing, this was a very well seasoned sandwich

Food here is fantastic! I had this place Yelp bookmarked for a while now and I'm glad I made it because everything was delicious. Hot white Chocolate Mocha's are superb, crispy hash browns, juicy chicken fried steak, super flavorful gravy, and eggs cooked to perfection. Inside was a little loud so we sat in the patio area which was secluded and quiet, and our service was excellent! Very attentive and polite this place is definitely a must visit.

My friend has been raving about this place for quite some time but also the reviews are great. Finally decided to give it a try. This place fills up quick so the wait can be a bit long. We waited for 40 minutes which wasn't too bad. They have indoor seating and an outdoor seating area as well. During the rain they have a patio cover as well. Our waiter was nice but I wish she was more personable. No smile and monotone. I did ask for a recommendation or if she thinks the ribeye steak & eggs would be better than their scrambles and omelettes . She stated " well one is just meat." She isn't wrong but I wish she was better at making a recommendation. I did end up order a ribeye steak with eggs, sausages, and coffee. I ordered for the ribeye to be medium and it was well done. The homemade salsa they seem to rave about was extremely watery and it did not taste good. Their food needs a lot of extra seasoning in my opinion.

Off Street Cafe is very off street. The cafe is tucked away in a sea of commercial buildings. Inside, the space is surprisingly large and bright. We stuck to the breakfast menu and ordered the following: -California omelette ($15.50): bacon, ortega chili, jack cheese topped with avocado + sour cream -the house skillet ($15.50): homestyle potatoes, bell peppers, bell peppers + onions, choice of protein, jack cheese Honestly, I loved every last bit of my California omelette. It was tucked and folded like someone's mom made it giving it homey vibes. The bacon was chunky and salty and perfect in omelette form. And the hash browns? Ten. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a nice buttery middle. My favorite thing I ate was probably the English muffin. It tastes homemade or in-house. Whatever the case, delish. Make it to Off Street Cafe before they close at 2.

Off Street Cafe is a local diner with great breakfast options. Wife went with chicken fried steak and I went with their spicy "Melecio", which was an omelet that blanketed carne asada, serranos, onions, cilantro, and cheese. It came with a ton of seasoned potatoes. I upgraded my bread for pancakes for only $3. The meal came with a nice house made salsa. I also appreciate that they've upgraded the decor and interior since I last visited. Overall, it's a solid breakfast spot and I'm glad that I was able to get flavors and spice with my diner-style omelet. The upgrade to pancake was a no-brainer for $3. Great local breakfast option!

This is a cute little brunch place in the area with plenty of parking. They have breakfast all day, very similar to a diner with many choices from scrambles, omelettes to classic breakfasts. I tried the Artesia scramble and it was really good along with hash browns with toast. The service was fast and attentive. I will definitely come again if I'm in the area looking for a quick breakfast grab.

Overall a pretty great place to grab breakfast. The place was pretty crowded and busy on a Friday morning. We expected it to be empty but was surprised that the restaurant was pretty much full & busy. The food was pretty good. We got the California breakfast burrito and the Alfredo skillet. Both great breakfast dishes. I also got their lavender latte and was happy with the quality of the coffee. Only real con was how busy it was. Everyone was moving about and it was loud. It was also hard to get hold of our server. I ordered the eggs on the Alfredo as scrambled but it came out over easy. I tried to flag down our server to fix the mistake but I could not flag her down so we just ate it. I didn't mind over easy eggs too much so it was ok but it wasn't what I ordered. We sat at one of tables next to the counter and by the kitchen. That probably didn't help with how busy it seemed and the noise. Next time I will wait for a booth. The 4.5 stars and the 3.9k number of reviews is justified. I will be back!

I visit Cerritos often since this is where I grew up, leaving when I bought a home in Orange County. Today my husband and I came with my Mom for breakfast. I came here regularly in the 90's and possibly in the late 80's with my parents when I was in high school. I remember getting a traditional breakfast and the menu offers the same reliable delicious food, and our family loved when we went before the pandemic.. today we enjoyed sitting in the patio, as it's close to the entrance and my Mom has mobility issues. The dining room at 8 AM was packed and I think we got choice of inside or patio table, before it was completely full house. The staff was really communicative and friendly including the hostess, buser, and our server. The buser confirmed the favorites and I decided to get the Alfredo skillet. Many of the items are named after those chefs that prepare the meals, and not necessarily what would come to mind for example, the Alfredo skillet is named after chef Alfredo and doesn't have Alfredo sauce or chicken. My husband got the chicken fried steak. My mom got the California omelette. All of our sides, and all of our meals were really good. My husband and I both got specialty coffee drinks. I decided to get the coffee butter latte, which is a special for the month and it was OK. I wouldn't get that again, but it wasn't bad tasting and was visually appealing, just was not for me. There is lots to offer here, and overall wonderful meal. Just like I always remember. Way to go Off Street Cafe, making good food for 40 years.

The evening started off strong, as we stopped by during Hoppy Hour (around 9ish). There wasn't a wait, and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. The front staff was nice and polite. She gave us the option of either a tall round table or a shorter rectangular table. We of course, opted for the slightly shorter (height-wise) rectangular table. Once we were seated, we were given the menu, and the waitress told us that we would be right with us. She stopped by to ask about drinks, and we opted for water. She dropped off water and came back with perfect timing because by then we were ready to order. I also love the simplicity of the menu. There really aren't too many options where you feel overwhelmed, but there are still enough choices to pick from. Shout out to the pastrami quesadilla, I didn't realize it had been swapped for a new menu item until I asked about it this time around, but I'll be waiting for its comeback! We ordered a few items: the mac and cheese balls, the Wagyu bone marrow burger with truffle fries, and a double smash burger with ribbed finger potatoes. We had to get the mac and cheese balls since it was Hoppy Hour! I also didn't realize that on Wednesdays, the double smash burgers are half off. I'll definitely remember that for next time. After we ordered, the food came out quicker than I expected. It was a nice surprise. I think the first item came out about 10 minutes after our initial order. The mac and cheese balls came out hot, which was great. The breading made them super crispy and gave a nice crunch that balanced really well with the softer, chewier mac and cheese inside. I was glad the inside wasn't too runny since that would have made it like lava! I didn't see a cheese pull this time, but next time I'll try again to see if I can catch one. It was a great start to the meal. The burgers came out shortly after we finished the mac and cheese balls. I totally forgot that the truffle fries came with sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side, but it wasn't a problem that it was added on top of the fries. It just made them get soggy a bit faster, but that's no problem; it just means I've got to work faster! The burger was good and came out super juicy. I asked for it medium, and it looked about medium, so no complaints here! I never realized before, but the bread was so fluffy... it was a super pillowy bun with a nice bounce to it. It definitely helped balance out the meatiness of the patty. The hint of tomato gave it a nice, refreshing bite and really helped cut through the richness of the meat. The onions also added a nice sweetness to the burger, which was appreciated. I also snuck a bite of the ribbed potatoes, and they were good as well. They were a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, with just a touch of saltiness. I also stole a pickle from the double smash and realized I probably should have asked for pickles on my burger, but I'll remember that for my next visit!

The Mexicali omelette had chorizo, garlic, mushroom, red onions, mozzarella cheese, jalapeños, ranchero sauce, and avocado.
