The reviews said that the wait can be quite long here, but I was lucky enough to dine in with basically no wait. My aunt who came 10 minutes before me secured a table right before the morning crowd arrived. I ordered the Alfredo's skillet with wheat toast and my aunt ordered the ribeye and eggs with sourdough. I got white toast but I didn't say anything because it wasn't a big deal to me. However, the skillet was extremely salty. I was only able to get through half of it because of the eggs, avocado, and cilantro. The potatoes, chorizo, cheese, and bacon were almost inedible. My aunt, who has dined here before, enjoyed her previous visits. Although today, she did not like the rice that came with her order and that pretty much killed it for her. We also got the cinnamon roll because I heard great things about it. Unfortunately, it was super dry. The flavor was good, but I really couldn't eat it. On the upside, the iced tea was delicious. The ambiance was good. It was simple but inviting. Somewhere you would want to visit to feel warm and cozy while enjoying a great meal. It's sad that I didn't get that from here. Maybe it was just an off day or we ordered the wrong items. I don't know if I will try it again in the future. read more

Food was good. We went later around 1:30, they close at 2pm. The previous times we have tried to go in a Sunday it was absolutely slammed...means the food is good but didn't want to wait. I have the machaca burrito and my wife had the chicken sandwich. Both we tasty and we finished our plates. read more

Decent size parking lot. We parked in the back lot. My friend had chorizo eggs, homestyle potatoes, sourdough with an orange juice. His only complaint was there wasn't enough orange juice to fill up a soft drink cup with ice. For about $5 of orange juice, they should get at least a full glass close to the rim with or without ice. Ask for my corn beef has meal. It was almost perfect. My corn beef could have been more crispier as I requested to be well done. Pancakes were soft and sweet. Hash browns were requested well done and they were crispy and satisfying. My eggs were over easy and yolk added richness to my meal. I paid $16 for my meal and my server brought us our food, water, and cups of ice in a timely matter. It could get pretty loud if you sit inside or it could get cold if they sit you outside. My other friend ordered Off Street plate with Hash Browns, medium eggs, bacon, and sausage He finished his meal. read more

Portion sizes are huge so you can share a plate! Service was very quick. We ordered our food and drinks and they all came out faster than any restaurant I've ever been to well done. Even though the place is busy, they take care of you quickly and positively. I would go back again, but for sure share my skillet! read more

The cafe off the street is a top pick of mine for breakfast. I absolutely adore their French toast. Their hash browns are arguably some of the finest ever cooked and I love hash browns! the biscuits are always warm & fresh out of the oven. The waitstaff are truly the kindest individuals. There's a pervasive joy at every table, almost as if there's something magical in the food and I wonder what? I wholeheartedly recommend it off street when in Cerritos. read more

Off Street Care is nestled in a business complex, across the street from Gahr High School. Such a unique location, it's really hard to miss unless you know you are looking for it. It is a fairly large location with both indoor and outdoor seating. Upon arriving, you can check in via the tablet or with the host(ess). Came in on a Sunday morning around 8:30 and was seated almost immediately. Everyone was very polite and welcoming. I ordered the skillet, my kiddo ordered the pancake, egg, and bacon kids meal (which was fairly large), and the missus ordered the eggs benedict. Overall, the food didn't stand out too much. It was above average, but okay. I wasn't overall impressed. The coffee though was really good and tasted fresh. read more

Came here one morning right at 7am when they opened. We got to sit anywhere we wanted since we were the first ones there. Staff is friendly and bright at that time! We got seated right away, were given menus and waters to start. There's a lot I wanted to order outside of what we got, so we'll have to come back. We got pancakes with eggs, sausage, and bacon, and chicken & waffles, with a side of homestyle hash browns. I'm a big fan of breakfast, so I enjoyed everything we ordered. The pancakes were warm, fluffy, and perfectly sweet with the maple syrup provided. I got my eggs made over easy and the sausage and bacon were a nice crispy. I enjoyed the hash browns a lot more than I expected to. Overall had a great first experience here - the service was amazing, the food was good, and I have to come back to try their french toast and cinnamon roll. read more

This is an incredible breakfast spot that I recently went to. My sister invited the family there and we all had a great time and loved the food. It's super cozy and warm as soon as you walk in. Our server was incredibly friendly and accommodating even though we had a large party. I got the California Burrito with Chorizo. It was gigantic and delicious. I definitely recommend getting it wet with the sauce on top. The salsa is outstanding. The serving size was huge and filling so I left there very full and content. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here and would really like to go back and sample more of the menu. read more

Mrs. and I had a nice breakfast here. After a few months, Ian and I went back again since he missed out on a meal. haha. Spinach and Mushroom Omelette $12.50 Corned Beef Hash. $6.50. Side of 4 Links. $6.50 French Vanilla Cappuccino. $4.00. Melicio's Omelette. $16.00. Bacon & Pecan Waffle. $10.50 Service was good. Staff was responsive. Food arrived fast. Most of the items were OK. Corned Hash was actually very good. Parking could be an issue. Seating in the center aisle was a little too close to adjacent seats for our comfort. Ian did not care much for the Bacon Waffle. The longest wait time was for a table. Fast friendly and efficient. Restroom was nice clean establishment. Gets crowded fast be prepared to wait for a table. We waited 20min which wasn't too bad but we beat the rush which I was told there was a 2 hour wait after. Food was good not wow but good we will definitely be back to try more of the popular items on the menu read more

Love the food and I would order it more often BUT I don't think it is fair that they add automatically 15% tip on TOGO orders. They don't let you call to place the order, you HAVE to place it online. You go pick it up inside and they still add Tip. read more

I've been wanting to try a specific food combination for a while now and I've finally got the chance to craft it here at Off Street Cafe. The previous time I've been here, I tried their brioche french toast and I ended up enjoying that so I ordered that again, but with the chicken from the chicken and waffles (chicken was a side order). With these two items together, I decided to make a french toast chicken sandwich. This was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made in a while! It turned out amazing just as I expected. It was only around $20, which is great because I thought that it'd be around $30. If you're ever feeling curious and want to try something different: here you go. A friend recommended I try this place and I'm glad we did. When we got there, there was a lot of people waiting outside. Wait was estimate around 35min however we only waited for 20min. We ordered the chicken fried steak, carne asada and eggs and machaca breakfast burrito. We loved everything we ordered and the chicken fried steak didn't take like it was a frozen patty. Thick cut carne asada was flavorful and they did not skimp on the hash browns. We even got a coffee to go which was really nice of our waitress to offer that! read more

This cafe is so cute! I had a pleasant experience here for lunch. I ordered a simple lunch, the BEST BLT on squaw bread. The sandwich was made to my liking and I would love try other breakfast and lunch items on the menu. I forgot to get photos of my meal The ambiance was nice, although busy, the customer service was great. Our first time at offset cafe and won't be the last! It's nestled in the middle of commercial buildings, you can miss it if your not looking for it. The inside is so cute I love the iron coverings on the doors and windows and the rest of the interior. Service was very fast and super nice! The food was was very good, we had the California burrito, the steak sandwich and the cinnamon roll French toast. We had a cold brew coffee with sweet foam and a cappuccino which was already flavored! Great experience would definitely do it again! read more

We totally beat the crowd at 8 am, no wait and got seated right away. Really cute decors and ambiance with bar stools counter seats. Ordered chicken fried steak with hash browns over easy egg and a side of English muffins. Delicious..... and very happy with my choice. My fiancé ordered the California omelette with Serrano peppers, side of fruit and sourdough toast. Also, order orange juice and it freshly squeezed. I've been here a couple times now and am decently satisfied each time. This restaurant has a nice ambiance and is kept clean. Most of the staff is very kind and helpful. I do have to say that I don't understand the cheese in the turkey sandwich... really threw me off. But that's just me?! My boyfriend said the rib-eye was "alright". The sweet potato fries are so good! Next time I do want to go back to try the cinnamon roll breakfast. Yum! Overall, I feel they have a nice variety on the menu. I'd definitely recommend coming here on a nice day, sitting out on the patio and enjoying a warm cup of coffee with some home style breakfast. read more

walked in and said "good morning" -- not a single response from anyone. I didn't even realize the guy in front of me was taking my order because he just stared at me. No "Are you ready to order?" or any kind of greeting. When I got my food, I said "thank you" to the lady at the counter -- nothing. I repeated it again, and still no acknowledgment. The silence and lack of basic courtesy from both employees was extremely unprofessional and made for a very unpleasant experience. I will not be returning. read more

Man, I hate to give only 3 stars because their food is so good, but I was really turned off by their phone order service charge. It's 15% charge when you place an order over the phone and pick it up yourself. I understand an additional charge for placing an order on a 3rd party app, but charging customers for placing an order and physically getting in the car to pick it up is unheard of. read more

I believe they don't do reservations. They would have a waiting list. I've gone on a Saturday around noonish and waited an hour to be seated. It gets very busy on weekends but I'd say it's worth the wait.

Shout out to the pastrami quesadilla, I didn't realize it had been swapped for a new menu item until I asked about it this time around, but I'll be waiting for its comeback! We ordered a few items: the mac and cheese balls, the Wagyu bone marrow burger with truffle fries, and a double smash burger with ribbed finger potatoes. We had to get the mac and cheese balls since it was Hoppy Hour! I also didn't realize that on Wednesdays, the double smash burgers are half off. I'll definitely remember that for next time. After we ordered, the food came out quicker than I expected. It was a nice surprise. I think the first item came out about 10 minutes after our initial order. The mac and cheese balls came out hot, which was great. The breading made them super crispy and gave a nice crunch that balanced really well with the softer, chewier mac and cheese inside. I was glad the inside wasn't too runny since that would have made it like lava! I didn't see a cheese pull this time, but next time I'll try again to see if I can catch one. It was a great start to the meal. The burgers came out shortly after we finished the mac and cheese balls. I totally forgot that the truffle fries came with sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side, but it wasn't a problem that it was added on top of the fries. It just made them get soggy a bit faster, but that's no problem; it just means I've got to work faster! The burger was good and came out super juicy. I asked for it medium, and it looked about medium, so no complaints here! I never realized before, but the bread was so fluffy... it was a super pillowy bun with a nice bounce to it. It definitely helped balance out the meatiness of the patty. The hint of tomato gave it a nice, refreshing bite and really helped cut through the richness of the meat. The onions also added a nice sweetness to the burger, which was appreciated. I also snuck a bite of the ribbed potatoes, and they were good as well. They were a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, with just a touch of saltiness. I also stole a pickle from the double smash and realized I probably should have asked for pickles on my burger, but I'll remember that for my next visit!

We went with the Silver Set, which honestly comes with everything you really need. It includes access to the Australian wagyu, unlimited meats and sides, plus a one-time seafood & sashimi platter and a specialty dish. Even though the seafood & sashimi platter is limited to one order, the portion is huge and more than enough for the table. For my specialty dish, I chose the bone marrow and WOW. It was so rich and decadent, and I loved that it came with crispy toast to balance out the tenderness. Ordering was super easy since each table gets an iPad to continuously order meats, vegetables, and side dishes throughout the meal. Between that and our very attentive server, everything arrived quickly and we never felt like we were waiting on anything. I also took full advantage of the self-service sauce bar, rice station, and ice cream bar. Mikiya is part of the Chubby Group, so you can earn and redeem points through their app if you're already dining at their other concepts.
