Located off of Artesia Blvd and Studebaker, across the street from the corner of Gahr High School; and conveniently located off the Studebaker exit off the 91 freeway. You can put your name on the wait-list, but if you come early, then no need to wait in the long line which usually is the issue on weekends, gets very busy especially in this part of town so plan accordingly. I often order the chicken fried steak with overeasy eggs, home style potatoes, and salsa on the side along with a biscuit and gravy. It is delicious, definitely a hearty meal to start your day. I had the hot beverage which was a mocha coffee and it's not overly sweet, yet still retains the coffee flavor, almost like a hot chocolate poured over coffee with whipped cream and chocolate sauce drizzled on top. The service is fast and efficient and the ease of paying was helpful whether if you are in a rush or may leave with ample time to enjoy your breakfast. This is an excellent choice for breakfast and a much better choice than a Denny's or IHOP. So don't delay and make your way to the Off Street Cafe! read more

This place was cute. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and seated immediately. Someone took our drink order which arrived quickly and another took our food order which arrived timely too. The menu looked good. We wanted to try everything. We were on the hunt for local businesses and we found this gem. The parking lot was full so we immediately thought that we had to wait, which we weren't opposed to. We were sat immediately which was great. The aromas were amazing. The service was efficient and attentive. We were sitting by the breakfast bar so we got to see everyone work. It was impressive seeing how the staff communicated and helped one another. All of the customer needs were taken care of and everyone was helping with checking in on all tables. The food and coffee was great. The hash browns could have used more flavor but still overall great. The restaurant was clean and well set up. I visited this restaurant recently and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. My coffee was served cold, and it took quite a while for our waiter to return to the table. The outside seating is good too because they have heaters for the cold weather so I never mind being seated outside, especially if it's packed. Well, I gotta say I really like this place, Food five stars service five stars the reason for the negative star is it can get really busy and wait times can be long. I've been coming here for years and never reviewed this place before like I said it does get busy, but if you sit at the counter, never really a problem. The service here is first class, their attentive, and you never have to ask for a refill on coffee or water. The food here is great. You can't go wrong with any options on the menu as everything is really good. My last trip. One of my favorite breakfast spots. It's tucked away in a business plaza but there's plenty of parking. They have indoor and patio seating and use Yelp wait-list. They offer traditional breakfasts like omelettes, steak and eggs, and eggs Benedict. My go to are usually the Alondra omelette or chicken fried steak and eggs. Most breakfasts come with choice of hash brown, brown rice, fruit, and biscuit, tortilla or toast. The biscuit is my favorite. Huge and fresh and hot from the oven. Also, we were guided and did not have to wait a long time to be seated once we arrived and sat down in our table. We ordered a chai latte tea, which was amazing.
