Came in a Saturday morning while visiting Cerritos. Was able to be seated pretty quickly but it does seem to get busy! There were a lot of menu items that sounded delicious so it was hard to choose! I opted for the avocado toast which came on a thick cut slice of sourdough, and a healthy portion of eggs and avocado. My husband ordered the melicio omelette, which I didn't have an opportunity to try because he finished it so fast! The potatoes were slightly undercooked and could have been a bit more crispy. The interior is decent, with a cozy patio area. However, the tables are a bit close to each other, which can feel a little cramped. Even with an early start, there was a 15-minute wait when we arrived around before 10am. I ordered the waffle and sausage, which was good. Registered at the front, gave our numbers so they can sit us via Text message. It was a few more minutes what was promised the waiting time would be. As we enter, Ambience was just okay. It was buzzing because its crowded. Ordered Caramel Latte and Avocado Toast. The Latte was the worst presentation I've ever seen. Doesn't look appealing. Idk what was the person trying to imply on that appearance. For $5.50 it was mediocre at best. Avocado Toast was also Mediocre at best when it comes to taste. It's hard to get a 10 out of 10 but his place deserves it. Everything's was perfectly thought out ... the aesthetics, the service, organization of supplies, pricing, the most important part, the food ! We all ordered different items from pancakes to omelettes to Machuca burritos to the their signature, The Off Street, all perfect and great tasting. All the butter and REAL maple syrup you want. Our server was efficient and checked constantly with us and our coffee cups were always full. I balked at the $6 seasonal muffins until I tasted them and saw their size. Order them and share with the table. Totally worth it. The food came out fast and hot and perfect. The service was fantastic for one. I got seated outside expecting to not get checked on very much but our server (Missy) was really attentive. The food was good I got the country fried steak which came out so quick. The potatoes had a great texture dense and waxy (in a cool way lol). The biscuit also was fluffy and the gravy was also delicious. The coffee was also so tasty. It was roasty with a deep flavor. My dog is super happy when I order take-out from here They give a lot of food. I started giving one of my eggs to my dog as a treat. I request that they separate the eggs because my dog cannot handle the country gravy. They put the eggs in a separate container for me. Also, their take-out is ready in like 10-15 minutes. We had already waited about an hour for a table of 7, and with hungry kids, going somewhere else wasn't an option. So we stayed and ate. The wait took some time but I can u deans for a Sunday morning with pretty big parties in front of us we still got sat within the time frame of 30 min for a party of two. The food was so good it came out so fast. We had time to look at the menu beforehand and had an idea of what we wanted and they came out within minutes of us ordering them.
