Off the Hook Seafood Eatery is so so good! I tried the fried fish with okra, broccoli, and a lemonade. I came during lunch time with my toddler and we shared all of this together. My toddler loved the lemonade. It's pretty tasty. Everything else was too spicy for my little one. It is such a cute little place. If you glance you'll miss it. I never even realized it was there driving by all of these years. I have always tried it and I'm glad to get a chance to devour this deliciousness! The place with busy during lunch and a lot of people come here to meet for lunch for work so lots of people in work clothes when I went but the seating moved fast and we had a place to sit right away. Next time I want to try other things on the menu. The prices are higher for the portions you get but you get fresh cooked food with every order so who can complain! Give them a try!

Right when you walk in this place you know that they fry a lot of things because of the smell. That isn't appealing to me personally but was crowded when I went. The seating was a little odd butI guess you have to be creative when you are limited on space. I really did enjoy the flavor of my shrimp and coleslaw so if I were to go back I'd get something else grilled with that same slaw.

I've been a fan of Off The Hook for years, but this was my first time dining in since the remodel and transition to Off The Hook Eatery--and let me just say, they did that. The place looks amazing. Clean, fresh, and welcoming with a totally upgraded interior AND a beautiful outdoor patio that really makes you want to hang out for a while. The staff was absolutely top-tier--super helpful, funny, and just made the whole experience feel easy and fun. You don't always get service with personality, but you definitely do here. They are the best! I ordered the Blackened Chicken Salad and the Grilled Fish & Jumbo Shrimp Basket with grilled asparagus as my side. I also got a banana pudding that was to die for! Everything was made fresh, seasoned absolutely perfectly, and came out hot and delicious. You can tell they seriously care about quality, and it shows. This is the kind of food that's well worth the wait since it's made fresh. If you haven't been in a while, GO BACK IMMEDIATELY. If you've never been--go hungry. Off The Hook is still a go-to spot, and somehow, it just keeps getting better.

5 stars Off the Hook - Great Spot for Seafood Cravings! Stopped by Off the Hook for some seafood and it hit the spot. I got the fish and chips--crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, basically how fish should be. The fries were solid too--golden, hot, and not sad or soggy. Tried the Cajun-style fried pickles and wow, those had a bold flavor. Super tangy and heavy on the Cajun spices. I could only eat about a quarter of them at a time, but if you like strong seasoning, you'll probably devour them. Washed it down with a strawberry lemonade that tasted just like it should--nothing fancy, but exactly what I wanted. The place was really clean and had this cool 60s vibe going on, which made it feel super inviting. I'll definitely be back, especially for more fish, and next time I've got my sights set on the Cajun shrimp. Curious to see how spicy that gets.

Delicious and healthy seafood like grilled fish that is very flavorful with seasoning, grilled asparagus and broccoli sides and cole slaw. Excellent service via the drive-thru as well. Interior atmosphere also spacious. Highly recommended!

Food was FRESH, chef knew what he was doing!!! Spectacular fish; beautifully seasoned (as well as the grilled asparagus), tender, juicy, and steaming from being made to order in the kitchen you can see right into. If I could do 4.5 stars I would, because this place is casual and looks a bit like a hole in the wall and the cleanliness reflected that, but when it came to rating it 4 or 5 stars, the food tipped it over the edge. Because I don't care. The food is too good. The seasoning WILL get stuck in your teeth, so be prepared for that. Still worth it

Today they only had a limited menu. Which was disappointing because we had our eyes set on some specific menu items. Looks like their temporary menu is only for a week, so not sure how often this happens. Any who! The food was delicious! I had blackened Chicken Fries with fried okra. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The sriracha ranch they paired the fries and other toppings really complemented the whole dish! I would have never thought to add it. My friend got the Shrimp Po Boy said that it could have been more favorable, but the shrimp itself was cooked to perfection! The lemonades they have were great tasting and refreshing! Had my friend slurping on the ice at the end lol. The people working were friendly and helpful! I will definitely come back if I visit OKC again! Hopefully they will have the whole shebang !

Not tonight though! Was craving mussels & decided to DoorDash an order. Looked over the menu and went with two different kind - green and black; threw in a 1/2 lb of manila clams too. This spot has a variety of seasonings and heat levels to choose from. I always go with the 88 special because it's darn good but decided to try cajun on the clams. Wow, loved the cajun flavor and would definitely order this seasoning again (Maybe not the clams but probably because I favor mussels above all else). If you want to know about the mussels - the green is my favorite. Nice mild flavor, not too strong. I find the black mussels more robust in flavor and a little smaller in size. Really cant go wrong with either. Now when it comes to heat - you'll get absolutely nothing with a none or mild. A medium will give a little tickle and the hot will start to activate your sweat glands. Extra hot is some kind of will power I wasn't gifted with so I stay the heck away from it. Each 1/2 lb bag comes with one corn and one potato. I plated each bag so you can see the approx quantity you get with 1/2 lb (minus a few, I was so hungry). They have fries and wings on the menu which are yummy too. In my opinion I wouldn't say this is outstanding for seafood; a tasty, casual, run of the mill boiling house for family or friends. I recommend it for take out or dine-in. The employees are super sweet & the restaurant has always been clean when I have visited. Hot tip: bring your own disposable gloves if you want them to fit. They have a crazy big size that tends to make the meal extra messy. I would say decent pickings for a land locked state! ;)

Basically you start out with. They had a Wednesday special which was a pound of shrimp and a half pound of snow crab we add a half a pound of snow crab and we added two eggs. They brought that bag to about 53 $57 I believe yeah so a family of 4 boils and the Kids plate came to $300. FYI we had the calamari appetizer which was so good crispy and then some little squids with bodies was up in there as well. We did the crab Rangoon's order of 12 those were so delicious crispy made fresh. I love the little sweet spicy sauce dividend Yum chef's kiss crab Rangoon's are my guilty pleasure. I could've ate every single one of those. They also have different options besides the seafood boil which we went there for the crab legs. They have fried shrimp fried fish, fried chicken nuggies you know those options as well as oysters really beautiful layout. in there is a full bar where you can sit there and have cocktails drink Ladies Night today night really cool Asian decor inside. See my pictures. I posted. Server didn't come over about six or seven minutes that was disturbing I'm sitting there waiting and waiting she is like would you like something to drink? I'm like of course we would like to drink you know there's no AC and we are thirsty, but she was really pleasant once she got there, sweet tea was on point, diabetic Sweet, just enough yes! they bring you utensils to crackers the claws, the bib, the gloves she brought extra gloves out I went with just the butter garlic butter sauce, mild flavor I didn't want heartburn. The kids got the royal crab special, which is like a mixture of all the flavors. They said that they got the medium spicy and that was hot and they like spicy so be careful on the spice levels they're hitting with that. They got the Thai Chili's up in there. Yeah the food came out. Appetizers came out quickly once we got the order going then we got our boils, but my boil came out and she walked out the owner. I believe she was Asian. She was like your bag has extra claw in there and I was like huh and so my daughter was missing a claw basically a half pound and she was like can you open the bag? I was like what like she wanted to reach in the bag and pull the claw and put it on my daughter's bag and I'm like oh my God what anyways they messed up and they actually gave me an extra claw on my daughter was shorter the claw and you know I'm already in my bag digging yes starting to eat and she literally brought the bag out was like can you just give her claw out your bag I did but no ma'am excuse me you need to replenish that claw that is you guys mistake I've already started cracking claws eating on this and then you want me to hand her something out of my bag. I'm already digging in mind you I had one hand with the glove and one hand without a glove yeah my daughter, but if it was anybody else like I don't want their germs and they don't want mine that was a little bit of gross but you're that hard up for one claw nasty nasty. I hate to see the kitchen like for real if you actually dropped the claw on the floor. They're picking that shit right back up. I know you're eating what's inside of it but it's still just a thought of it. Just a thought of it anyways Parking is fine. It was never busy but I said it was hot the food 10 out of 10 Service seven out of 10 the lady asked me to get the claw out of my bag and hand it to my daughter zero out of 10 ma'am, no thank you

We walked in to a packed house, which is always a good sign, but were seated immediately. From there, the experience never missed a beat. Beverly took care of us and was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do, and it shows. We started with margaritas, and when Beverly said they were "perfect," she wasn't overselling it. Smooth, well-balanced, and served ice cold. We're both olive fans, so of course we asked for extras--and they delivered without hesitation. Going in, we made a deal: appetizers or dessert--not both. After hearing about the pineapple upside-down cake with vanilla ice cream, that decision was made pretty quickly. For the main course, Beverly walked us through the menu and the weekly specials: * Rainbow trout with roasted peppers and cucumber salad * 14 oz peppercorn crusted steak with mashed potatoes, broccoli & parmesan I know my wife--steak was the obvious choice for her. I went with the trout. Both dishes were excellent. The trout was cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful sauce that didn't overpower the fish, and the vegetables were fresh and well-prepared. The steak was cooked just right, full of flavor, and paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli finished with parmesan. What really elevated the night was the hospitality. Kirsten, the manager, stopped by to check on us and took the time to have a genuine conversation. She shared details about patio seating and upcoming live music nights, which we're already planning to come back for. Then came a surprise--she graciously covered our dessert. A classy move that didn't go unnoticed. And that pineapple upside-down cake? Warm, soft, topped with melting vanilla ice cream... absolutely worth skipping the appetizers for. The Bottom Line: Great food, exceptional service, and a relaxed but polished atmosphere right on Lake Hefner. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend for a date night or a nice evening out.
