    S10. Spicy Chicken
    Rashmi N.

Tried OK Noodles recently, and it's one of those small, casual spots with decent, simple decor--nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for a quick meal. Ordering is done via QR code, and the food is brought to your table, which makes the process pretty seamless. We started with the spicy cucumber salad, which was super refreshing and a great way to kick things off--light, crisp, and nicely balanced. Next were the house special wontons, served in a chili oil-based broth. The flavor was actually quite good--spicy, savory, and comforting--but the wontons unfortunately fell apart too easily, which took away from the overall experience. For mains, we ordered the spicy chicken, and this was hands down the highlight of the night. Juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and coated in just the right amount of spice--it was absolutely delicious and something I'd go back for without a doubt. We also tried the special hot oil noodles, which I've heard are one of their bestsellers. The noodles themselves were great--thick, chewy, and perfectly cooked--but the sauce lacked that punch or depth of flavor, making the dish feel a bit underwhelming. It might have just been an off day, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for us. One of the biggest challenges we faced was the menu. There are no descriptions of the dishes, which makes it quite difficult for first-timers or anyone not familiar with the cuisine to order confidently. We also didn't get much help from the host, likely due to a language barrier, which added to the confusion. Overall, the experience had its ups and downs, but the food--especially that spicy chicken--makes it worth a visit. I'd definitely go back, but I'd stick to what I know works.

Hand pulled noodles for the win!! The noodles were so bouncy and this felt like such a comforting dish. Super homey and felt like we were family! Things I ordered: Big plate lamb noodles: the noodles were this super wide and flat noodle. The sauce was tangy spicy and there were potatoes, green bell peppers and onions all throughout. The sauce clung onto the noodles super well and the lamb was tender and they were so generous ! Cucumber salad: refreshing garlicky and crunchy! Perfect for these hot days and as a palate cleanser. I love cucumbers so this was such a win for me! Beef noodle soup: the broth is so clean and the meat is just so tender. The noodles pair so well as it's thinner and not as thick as the other dish. Everything here is a 10/10!

Visited the new location on Abel, and haven't been since this restaurant was located in Fremont. Ordered the potstickers and braised beef noodle soup (mild spicy). The potstickers are not made in house: they're the Ajinomoto brand (you can get these from Costco - one serving is 6 potstickers) but they are fried well here. The beef noodle soup was a little light on the beef, but the noodles were the perfect QQ texture and the broth nicely seasoned.

Went to ok noodle for lunch around 1:30, walked in and we were the only customer which was odd. The gentleman helped us setup but you mainly order from your phone. I've seen from the search that everyone gets the chili noodles which I couldn't find on the app. I had to order it personally from the waiter which was weird. The food came out fast with my buddy getting the lamb which he said had a real strong lamb flavor that was overpowering. The chili noodles were okay, nothing special. The chili wonton which I was wonton in chili sauce but in reality it was wonton in a soup. Overall not the best place for "pulled noodles" but not the worse, I'll say it's OK.

Been here so many times because it's so yummy and comfort food. Service is great here and it's super easy to order online. Food comes out so fast and is always super tasty. Have yet to try something I don't like haha.

Great wide, hand-pulled noodles with a nice chewy texture. When they say spicy, they really mean it. We ordered the Big Plate with Lamb (non-spicy), which was delicious and came with a rich, tomato-based sauce. We also tried the Special Hot Oil Noodles. That one had a slow, building heat which is not my forte. Service was friendly and fast. You can order either by scanning the QR code or directly through the waiter. They also use these unique chopsticks with a reusable base and disposable tips. That is something I've only seen here.

I had high hopes for this spot Not sure if it was the day we went but once we came in, it was dark and it smelled a little off (kind of like the restroom ). I ordered the chili oil noodles with wide noodles, but it came out with regular noodles. I was like it's okay because it's the flavor that matters, but I found the flavor to be underwhelming We also ordered the braised beef soup noodles with wide noodles, and it did come out with wide noodles but the flavor was also underwhelming. Lastly, we ordered the potstickers which our server seemed to forget about, and it didn't come out even we were finished with our noodles, so I just took it to go. I have had this spot on my list for soooo long but was disappointed

I'm a fan! The noodles and food selections were "ok" (full pun intended) but very flavorful and quality. Speed of service and quality is great as well. Definitely a solid 4/5.

Their wide hand pulled noodles are some of the best I've had in the bay! They weren't too busy on a week night and the orders came out within 20 minutes. The beef hand pulled noodle soup was incredible, the broth flavorful and the noodles thick although there was not enough meat. The other order we had was delicious with minced beef and we loved the noodle texture. It was a bit spicy.

Chili oil noodles w/ round noodles

Great place to get your noodle fix! I tried the chili oil noodles and beef noodle soup. Both round and wide noodles were cooked perfectly. If I had to choose, my preference would be the round noodles. Wide noodles can be a mouthful (highly recommend using the scissors to make it easier to eat). Both dishes have good flavors. The chili oil noodles, given its dry style, is more savory & you'd taste the spicy kick more (there's chili oil on the side for you to add extra). Pork is cooked well with it. I'd recommend the beef noodle soup if you're craving soup. Broth was drinkable, generous amount of tender braised beef. I always like the crunch from the bok choy in these dishes. Cucumber salad is really good. Nice refreshing and crunchy appetizer to have on the side. The owner/manager is friendly, gives a warm welcome once you walk in. He'd go around with water refills. Decent sized space! Good for solo, pair, or group dining. It's located in a plaza, so plenty of parking (nearby parking can be a hit or miss but it's nice to get some steps in after a good meal here)!

Parking: huge lot, super easy Interior: Clean, decently large inside with plenty of tables. Good for large groups. Wait Time: None - i came on a weekday for dinner and there were only 2 other groups inside. Food took about 10-15min to arrive after ordering. Items Order: 7/10 Big plate noodles with lamb $22 - very misleading lol the plate itself is large but the amount of food is actually regular size. Not worth $22. In addition, my food came with metal scraps. Luckily I did not bite into it otherwise this would've been very bad. They replaced my meal but still not a great experience with the lost appetite. 8/10 Spicy beef noodle soup $17 - actually not spicy at all. Quality overall was good for broth, noodles, and meet so I would recommend this one. Update: got food poisoning, would not come back

    S5. Lamb Noodles
    kim d.

All three of these dishes were genuinely amazing--the flavor, chew of the noodles, and the meat to noodle ratio was perfect! Very much a mom and pop shop! The lamb noodles were ratioed perfectly with the lamb being tender and extremely flavorful. The chili noodles were my favorite! The meat was super tender as well and flavorful--I don't think it was spicy, so I loved adding extra chili oil on top. I do wish there was more bop choy, but that's just a personal preference. Definitely marked to go back again!

It is in the same plaza as the popular porridge place and New China Tofu (where they used to sell Stinky tofu - but that is for a different story). The place is roomy and clean, the service was decent, friendly enough but we had to ask for sharing bowls and spoons. The order is the usual QR code so you order online, but pay offline. They have plenty of selection, but since it was just the 2 of us, and based on the name, noodles should be must orders. We had a soupy version (hot and sour fish) and a dry version (spicy ground pork), with a side order of cold appetizer (shredded tofu skin salad). The cold appetizer was a bit salty, but the overall flavor was pretty good. We added more chili oil that is available on the table. There was a wait between the appetizer and the next dish, we finished the appetizer before the first noodle arrived. Hot & Hour Fish - we selected the hand-cut noodles. The noodles were thick with just the right amount of chewiness. The broth was amazing with just enough kick, not too spicy. The fish was tender and the tofu was wonderful. The only "veggie" was the pickled/perserved mustard greens. We really enjoyed this one. Dry/Stir spicy noodles with ground pork - we selected the thick flat noodles for this. The presentation was beautiful and we could smell the chili powder and it was wonderful. A bit oily, which i understand as we need the oil to get the sauce mixed and noodles do not all stick together. The kick for this dish is actually less than the fish noodles, and not too salty, which was great after the salty appetizer and the strong flavor of the fish noodles. We did not finish and had to bring them back home. And we know we will be back!

I remember this place used to be Chef Chengdu, but recently closed down and rebranded to become Super Potato. Here's my take and my experience on this place, as a first timer thus far: - The food was honestly out of this world, and when I say the portions are BIG - they were actually enough to cover the container (and even more). That's how much they have. I got the beef tripe with Chinese broccoli and rice, and while I had wished they included more Chinese broccoli, the sauce of the beef tripe was SO pungent and aromatic that I was able to sauce up my rice and enhance the flavor of my plain white rice. - The hospitality of this place was quite well - the waitresses are very attentive to each detail. I came here on a Friday evening with my friend to grab dinner around 6:00 PM. The wait was around an hour, so be very prepared if you're coming during the dinner rush. This spot is located where the majority of the Asian restaurants are in Milpitas, so it's safe to say the parking can get a bit hectic and intense. The interior of the place is very bright, modern, and clean. There is a lot of seating for a small space, but the reason they are so busy has a lot to do with the number of people wanting to check this spot out. When you sit down, you scan their virtual menu via QR code and order there instead of through a server. You have the choice to order on one phone as a group or separately. Between my friend and me, we ordered a beef mint salad, fried tofu, confit mushrooms, and truffle mushroom rice. I will say that when we first got the fried tofu and confit mushrooms, we were quite surprised by the small portions compared to the price. That said, they were delicious, but skippable if you're trying to find the best bang for your buck. What I absolutely would recommend is their truffle mushroom fried rice. This might have been my best bite this month. It was so savory, the mushrooms hit perfectly, and the coating of butter on the rice was supreme. It was $28 for a bowl, but it was a good value to split between two people. Overall, this place had great, fast service (our food came out in under 10 minutes), a nice ambiance, and fresh, flavorful food.

Milpitas is the spot for Noodles…read more.. In the last couple of years there are a decent amount of Chinese Noodle spots that have opened. Each one of them are slightly unique, and they're all really good! If the high ratings weren't a accurate indicator, then the packed venues are definitely a conformation. Henan Noodle isn't the biggest venue, it's actually on the smaller side; small mom & pop operation. The place is charming, clean and inviting with a minimalist decor. The restaurant is located in a small plaza off N Milpitas Blvd. I forsee challenging parking during peak times; the lot is not that big either. The service was fine. Everything necessary was already laid out on the table, well organized and ready to dine in; bowls, chopsticks, cups, napkins, soup spoons and cold water. Scan the QR code on the table and place your order. Food came out in a timely manner. I'm not sure if lady running the place (at the time of our visit) speaks English; she gave us instructions in Chinese, I'm guessing Mandarin. We had no clue what she said, but were able to figure out what she was telling us...basically the condiments are self serve, small station in the corner against the wall. #SendNoods Braised Noodle 烩面: ~ Pickled Cabbage & Black Fish with Lamb 酸菜黑鱼羊汤烩面 - 5/5 Brilliant flavor. Well balanced, not too salty, gamey or creamy. Just perfect! The pieces of fish were so tender, good amount of noodle and that pickled cabbage...just brilliant! We didn't feel the need to add anything. ~ Lamb Stew Noodle 羊肉烩面 - 4.5/5 Another banger! The broth on this one was a bit bland, while it tasted clean and healthy we thought it was lacking a bit of flavor. We added a bit of Chili oil and walah!!! Perfection... lol. At least to out pallets. Everything else was perfect. The dishes are very filling, even though they don't look that intimidating at first. I can't wait to try some of the other dishes. I'll be back!
