Our group ordered the chili oil noodles ($16.99), spicy and sour noodles with pork ($16.99), house special lamb chop ($21.50), and cucumber salad ($9.99). We weren't aware that the noodle dishes we ordered came with regular noodles by default, we thought we'd be getting the wider noodles. Our server didn't ask us if we had a preference and it didn't say we had to request them anywhere on the menu. We heard them ask another table if they had a preference, so definitely voice your preference. We still enjoyed the our bowls of perfectly chewy noodles. Both bowls came with generous amounts of pork and were well seasoned. The chili oil noodles weren't that spicy so I think someone with a lower spice tolerance can handle it. The cucumber salad was garlicky and refreshing. The house special lamb chops were tender and flavorful, but I don't think it was a good value since the portion was small and mostly bones and onions. The fresh wide noodles were al dente, had a bite to it, and was good. I just wished this was served in a bowl instead because the sauce splattered everywhere. I should have mixed the noodles so it can get incorporated and submerged in the sauce before I started to inhale it. The lamb? Super tender!! The potatoes, onions, and bell peppers? It was firm but soft once you've taken a bite out of it. The sauce was divine, It reminded me of the feeling I get when I eat spaghetti. So filling. This would be good for 2-3 people or 2-3 meals. Great chili oil noodles! I've tried both the chili oil noodles with wide noodles, D7 cold noodles (not the liang pita), and the liang pita, and all of them were good! The chili oil noodles are my favorite out of the three. The wide flat noodles were very QQ, bouncy and just the perfect texture. Prob some of the best flat noodles I've had! I felt like I could smell pickled mustard in the dish, but I didn't taste it. They give you a good amount of meat in the dish as well, though I do wish there was some more bok choy. The D7 cold noodles come with thinly sliced beef and cucumbers mixed in a sauce that tasted like hoisin sauce. The noodles for this dish are the thin noodles. The liang pita (or pi) is more of an appetizer dish. The noodles are more stiff and elastic than regular noodles and the sauce was vinegary with a little kick from spice. Service was good! Whenever I've gone here, the owner will always fill up our water cups frequently without you having to flag him down. This is the epitome of an authentic Chinese mom-and-pop restaurant, complete with small child crying over her math homework in the back. It had a nice spice to it as well, and the noodles were also chewy. The cucumber on top added a nice crunch!!! Would recommend. Lastly , I had the beef noodle soup. This was ok! I noticed a lot of places around the Bay Area serve somewhat of the same beef noodle soup flavoring... Service was very attentive. The waiter followed with us early and answered our questions. Definitely friendly! :-) It was a slow day when I came but the place was pretty spacious. It also looked like someone celebrated their birthday with balloons hanging there! I almost want to gate keep this place to keep the wait time low but this place is seriously one of my all time favorite spots in the bay for some noodles! I come here so much the owner knows exactly what I want each time. The service here is 10/10 for me, so sweet and always checking up on us for water and anything we might need. Their chili noodles here are to die for!! So freaking flavorful, the noodles are the perfect bouncy texture. I love that if you want to peek into the kitchen, you can sometimes see them hand pulling the noodles! I get these noodles at least 2-3 times a month! The big plate beef is also delicious, it has a more tomato-y based broth. The beef that comes with this is sooo tender and delicious. It's tucked away in one of the many plazas at McCarthy ranch so there's always plenty of parking which is great. This restaurant has become a staple for me and my friends and I love it so much! read more

Met a friend at OK Noodle and it was more than OK! Solid, no frills restaurant with friendly and attentive service. We arrived shortly after they opened and the restaurant was not very busy but eventually did fill up. We started with the house special lamb chop and cucumber salad and both ordered chili oil noodles, sub with wide noodles. Everything was delicious. Feed meimei from YouTube brought me here! We came for chili oil noodles, got the chili oil noodles, and devouuured the chili oil noodles lol. They were so good! Upon walking in, OK Noodle gives total mom and pop, no frills energy. We seated ourselves and a few moments later were given menus by one of the servers, who was literally the nicest person ever! We got two orders of chili oil noodles (as expected): one with the thick noodles and one with the thin just to try both! For both - the noodles were bouncy, chewy, and you can tell that they were handmade which was great. I ended up liking the thin noodles more since I felt like it held the sauce a little better. The flavor in general wasn't as spicy as I had anticipated - just the right amount of numbing flavor! We ended up paying a little under $40 for two which felt like quite the steal since we were stuffed and had leftovers to take home! read more

I think OK noodle is fine. It's not so tasty that I would think about going out of my way to come here, but also not bad enough for me to avoid it if I am in the area. I suppose it's a good work lunch since it is convenient and pretty fast. They mostly just have noodle. Not a very extensive appetizer or veggie menu. So it is very easy for everyone to just order their own noodle dish. read more
