Dinner was delicious and our server Merzek was attentive and provided great suggestions. My husband ordered the aged ribeye and I ordered the cowgirl cut ribeye with oscar and asparagus. We also enjoyed the lobster mashed potatoes. It is a little overpriced. The ambiance makes it worth it .... If I could give a three and a half I would overall. Service was a 5 !

I really loved the food here! We got the 10 oz steak with mashed potatoes. The service was amazing! We sat at the bar to eat and drink. The ambiance was great with the piano music in the background . We got the chocolate chestnut crème brûlée which was amazing! I did give it a 4/5 because I feel like the food is too pricey for what it is. Other than that, I really enjoyed the food.

Amazing ambiance and quick and lively service! Food to come next! As you walk into the bar you are welcomed with an amazing selection of whiskey!

We ate here last night and the food was fabulous. We splurged and got the 38 oz. Wagyu Tomahawk steak. Oh my! We love this place because the food and service are always excellent. But we were disappointed that the pianist wasn't playing last night. Luckily, we came back tonight for drinks and were entertained by FANTASTIC sounds from the piano! She should be playing EVERY night! I miss her when she's not there.

We tried old Hickory steakhouse belated birthday last night. Everything was amazing. Our server Tim was awesome and very attentive. Everything was cooked to perfection. I would say this is more of a tiny experience as we were there 2 1/2 hours. I didn't get pictures of the. Wagyu tartare but it was great. Pictured is the Wagyu filet, the lamb chops, cream, corn, mashed potatoes, crème brûlée, and the cheesecake. Everything was absolutely amazing. We were uncomfortably full when we left because we just could not stop eating. You can't go wrong with dining here. Oh, and the bread basket was awesome, fresh rosemary rolls, and french bread with incredible butter.

Mediocre steakhouse, that probably gets by on a clientele of tourists that don't get out much. Steak was undercooked - ordered medium, got rare. Same thing happened to another customer sitting next to me. I hate the idea if "put it back on the grill" - sure, just what I want is a dry steak. Just cook it right or offer to remake it entirely. Also the steak wasn't really seasoned at all - had to ask for salt to give it some flavor. This is probably why they pimp all the sauces. Side of green beans was ok - overly sweet, but fine. Justin cab is always good, but just an insane mark up. $22 for a glass of wine that costs $25 a bottle just ain't it. Two stars is because it's going on the expense account vs my personal card.

We started off with a round of champagne and a bottle of red wine for dinner. We tried a variety of dishes since we were told that the set up is family style: Hamachi Crudo: 10/10 one of the best I've ever had! Super fresh and the sauce paired well with it. Bluefin Tune Crudo: 8/10 It was really fresh and well prepared, but I've had better elsewhere. I typically prefer bluefin tuna sashimi or nigiri anyway. Tuna Crispy Rice: 9/10 This was such a fun and delicious way to eat spicy tuna! All of the seasonings made it packed full of flavor. Tomahawk Ribeye 9/10: This was insanely tender, and well seasoned. Tip: ask for lemon wedges to sprinkle some lemon juice on it--thank me later. Broccolini 8/10: well prepared, and I loved the lemongrass garlic chili that topped it East Side Shrimp 7/10: These were well cooked and well seasoned. Loved the salad placed underneath it. Wagyu Tartare 8/10: It was well prepared and loved that it's paired with nori and rice. Wished it had a bit more punch to it in terms of seasoning. Crab Fried Rice 8/10: this was delicious but still say it's a solid 8. Beautifully prepared! Korean Hot Wings 2.5/10: I could tell that it was well cooked, but it was insanely salty; it was practically inedible. Hurricane Fries 9/10: These were so delicious! You are immediately hit with the smell of truffle, which made my mouth water. Packed with flavor! Brussels 7/10: These were well roasted, but the sauce was a tad too sweet for my liking. I highly recommend trying this place out!

By the bar we got to see some of the dishes being made. Great date night spot. Limited parking. This is a tapas spot and our serve did a good job recommending how many dishes to get. The only reason Noko is not getting 5 stars is because the server said that they would time out the dishes for us, so it was best to place our entire order all at once. However, we got 3 dishes and then it took about 30 minutes for other two to come out. Maybe we were eating too fast but felt like we were waiting a while for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we ordered that I did not like. Some favorites include the burnt ends lettuce wraps and Korean chicken wings. The Sando, shrimp and tuna crispy rice was also spectacular. The tuna was so flavorful and refreshing on the tuna crispy rice. The sauce of the east side shrimp really makes the dish. I'm not a huge shrimp person but this was really good. This is a must go to spot in Nashville and would definitely want to come back.

Expect about $300 per couple for a dining experience that offers many unique twists! For instance, the bread service comes with a candle made of beef tallow which turns into a dip as the wick burns down. The tomahawk is seared table-side with a torch, as is the crème brûlée! And it's a rare place that offers the elusive Chateaubriand steak. They even have four-pound loaded baked potatoes. And that's not to mention Nashville's most expensive dish, their signature $1,800 extravaganza for two including a tomahawk steak and a rare cognac. Harper's is undoubtedly a one-of-a-kind restaurant. The calamari is a highlight, a little salty for my taste but one of the best versions in town. The French onion soup is worth trying, its Havarti and Swiss combination beautifully finishing the top! Knowing the countless steak options were all solid choices, I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried elk for the first time since Harper's offers such exotic choices. And it was pretty good. But there's no question the Argentinian Chimichurri saved it. The beef tallow fries are also decent. And yes, the crème brûlée is magnificent!

Coming in by myself on a weeknight, while in town for business, I sat at the bar and the staff at the bar took great care of me. The piano man on top of the bar was playing great music. The venue is nicely, eclectically decorated too! I started with a Kettle One up with a Twist and it was great... Some of their shrimp cocktail to go with it was a great pairing! The shrimp was huge and prepared perfectly! The cocktail sauce was very nice, but I like extra horseradish, which they happily provided. Next up was their Prime Skirt Steak and the sides I chose was their creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to a perfect temperature and the chimichurri was so very tasty with it! The mashed potatoes were nice. The creamed spinach looked beautiful and the texture was spot-on, but it had slightly too much nutmeg in it - Still, I enjoyed it. I wanted to save room for dessert though because I was yearning for their Butter Pie, which I ordered eventually. The butter pie definitely didn't disappoint! I enjoyed my experience and will continue to seek out and enjoy Jeff Ruby joints when I travel!

This she did drink cause we had already sent back the other two Items. Our server Aubry was great and so was his assistant Will. My fiancé and I are getting married next week, and they surprised us with complimentary champagne, which was such a nice touch. We started with the lobster bisque and the Caesar salad. The Caesar was your standard salad, nothing that stood out, but the lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights. They also had a great selection of cocktails and beer to choose from. For our main we split a NY Strip with mashed potatoes. Now I'm usually a ribeye guy, but I have to say this steak was cooked to perfection. It melted in your mouth, and the butter they used was spectacular. The mashed potatoes were a touch dry for my taste, though my fiancé loved them. The best part might be the atmosphere. The bar has two hidden TVs that you can only see when you sit at the bar, which is such a cool touch. It keeps the space feeling upscale without sacrificing the ability to catch a game. The overall ambiance is great, and the music is always at the perfect volume for an easy conversation. The drinks have been consistently excellent. We've tried both cocktails and wine, and everything has been delicious. The wine is a little overpriced in our opinion, but it was so good that I'm glad we still ordered it! On our most recent visit, we started with the burrata. It was very good, but I do wish there had been more sauce and more cantaloupe. The sauce felt more like an accent than something that really tied the dish together. That said, the perfect bite was definitely the burrata with the prosciutto and cantaloupe! For our entrees, Jonathan ordered the pork chop, and I had the piri piri chicken. Both came with broccolini and patatas bravas. I was expecting traditional Spanish-style patatas bravas, so when whole baby potatoes showed up, I was initially a little disappointed. Don't let that fool you, though--these potatoes were incredible!!! Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and packed with flavor! They ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal! My piri piri chicken was fantastic! The portion was much larger than I expected, and the piri piri sauce served on the side was absolutely lick-the-plate good. I found myself dipping the potatoes and broccolini in it because it was just that delicious. Piri piri isn't something you come across often in Nashville, and The Finch absolutely nails it--and at a really reasonable price. Jonathan's pork chop was cooked perfectly with great flavor. It wasn't an over-the-top, show-stopping dish, but for around $30--including both sides--at a more upscale restaurant, it's hard to beat the value. One more recommendation: get the volcano rock shrimp. We had it on a previous visit, and we still talk about it! It's easily one of our favorite dishes we've had here. The Finch has been consistently good every time we've visited, and that's what keeps bringing us back! Great food, great drinks, a fun atmosphere, and solid value for the quality. We'll definitely be back again!
