I'm not sure if they used bad cheese or milk or what, but everyone at the table tried it and we all agreed it tasted like feet. The steak & sea bass were tasty, but for the price point of this restaurant, I expect better food & more timely service. For a solid 10 minutes I did the slow, polite stalk along the back wall, scanning faces like I was in a low-budget spy movie. No client. No recognition. Just a growing suspicion that I had been ghosted in a very public setting. Text sent. Location confirmed. Mild embarrassment achieved. Twenty minutes later, we finally synced up at the correct BrickTop's. A lesser restaurant would have lost me right there. But then... The place hits you. Open. Airy. Spacious in a way that makes you feel like your table matters. Live piano floating through the room like it knows it's better than a Spotify playlist. It's the kind of atmosphere that says, "Relax, we've got this," even if your navigation skills clearly do not. And then the food shows up. I ordered the ribs.
