We stopped in Olga's for a afternoon treat. We thought about a doughnut but, then saw the Gingerbread Man Cookies and could not resist. We bought several and they were delicious. We'll go back but, next time it will be earlier in the day so we have better selections. They also serve a limited selection of sandwiches that we may try as well. read more

Sometimes I wish I hadn't found this place because I'm quite sure soon enough I will be carrying around a donut top instead of a muffin top because I live so close. The breadstick is the famous donut here which is definitely good but the standout donuts to me are the cinnamon roll and the Bavarian cream chocolate iced donut. Very small, quiet, out-of-the-way type of joint. I recently went in to get lunch and wasn't disappointed. There were 2 employees, but 1 just hung out in back out of sight. A small line formed, and it would have been nice if she chipped in, but it wasn't a big deal. I ordered the Cuban and it was pretty good! Seemed to be made from quality ingredients and wasn't too tough on the wallet. If I'm back in Dade City around lunch time I know a go-to spot now. read more

My grandparents and my aunts would drive me to Olga's once a week when I visited just to get my breadsticks!! Now, as an adult, when I visit, my trip isn't complete without a trip to Olga's!! I've been coming here since I was a kid but I thought I should take the time out to write a review on their customer service & quality. Their quality has never missed a beat which is why this bakery still does very well. Today we went back to order pressed Cubans like I have for the past three weeks now. Last week we ordered 8 Cuban sandwiches 3 of which had no cheese. Today we told one of the employees about the cheese missing, not expecting anything, just to let them know. They were sorry for the mishap and gave us complimentary breadsticks and donuts (which are A-MAZ-ING). Now you see... They didn't have to do that but that shows how inviting and pleasing they are. What a nice gesture! This is a reason this company stays on top in this community. They sure as h*ll have my family's support. Items at Olga's are so good we buy them to be sent to family in Orlando! Once you have an Olga's glazed donut absolutely raises the bar to almost impossible levels! If you ever craze a glazed, please, for your bucket list of amazing things get to Olgas and try the glazed. Be warned they know how to create the "scarcity model" and make sure to run out by noon, for which I am SUPER grateful! They never keep donuts longer than a few hours and never overnight. So smart.
