Came in when it was super busy, but ordering was still really convenient. You order at the register, get a number, and pick your own seat. They have plenty of seating both inside and outside, which made it easy to find a spot. I ordered the Fried Chicken Caesar Wrap and a Dirty Chai. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the food came out quickly and the staff was friendly. The wrap was honestly so good. Great texture, size, and evenly filled. I still find myself craving it! The Dirty Chai was also not bad, pretty sweet in my opinion. Parking was easier than expected since there's a parking garage right next door that they validate, plus metered street parking nearby. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu.
Loved my experience at Olive & Thyme!!! Service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. They ran out of their freshly pressed orange juice by like 10am but I was lucky enough to try their fresh lemonade which was delicious. I had their egg white scramble and dirty chai latte which were both delicious. The egg white scramble tasted good with the cheese and sourdough toast additions. The portion was enough for two!!! I can't wait to try the rest of their menu. They also cater events if you're interested. Highly recommend Olive & Thyme for your brunch needs!!!
This is such a cute brunch place and truly enjoyed my time with my girlfriends. I got the green goddess avocado plate. It was refreshing going through this plate and like how there is a grilled lime to compliment the whole dish. The green goddess dressing was well excuted. My friend also enjoyed their dishes. I thought their latte wasn't too special, wish they house made their syrups. I opted for the sugar free vanilla and it was ok. The prices are quite high for the portion size. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Service was really good. Plenty of free street parking around the area.
Carne asada tacos were delicious. It had a thin crunchy shell. Carne was tender. It had a very fresh taste with pico de gallo, guacamole and pickled red onions. Tried an Oreo cookie and blueberry muffin. Probably the best muffin I ever had. Oreo cookie was perfect too. Slight crunch but chewy. Everyone there was super friendly and sweet. The staff immediately puts me in a good mood. The place is quite large. Lots of tables for 2, 4 or a picnic table for 6. The aesthetic was super clean and cute. When fully packed it is LOUD. I had to scream my conversation. NOT recommended for hard of hearing. Parking is a nightmare! There is no parking garage like I thought. I did go on Saturday, maybe it's open during the week. The restaurant is near WB. If you need ADA parking or are limited on mobility I do not recommend. Take a friend and have them drop you off.
I'm a regular here, but this was my first time trying their side of bacon, and it was perfection! Thin-cut, perfectly cooked, crispy, and deliciously salty. I don't usually compare bacon, but this was so perfectly suited to my taste that I didn't even feel guilty eating it. Every bite was better than the last! Avocado toasts are always delicious and the perfect portion. I love both of them, highly recommend!
Nice place, service was ok. Prices are a bit high for the amount of food you get, but I guess that's standard these days. I had a chicken sandwich. Ok..tater totes were delicious. Wife had avocado toast. It was good. Service was good. This place must be packed on weekends and lunch crowd. Small area that sells candles , kids toys ect. The lights in this area flicker which bothered my and my wife's eyes. So we didn't look too much.
Very cute breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in Toluca Lake area! Tables are open seating and orders are placed on the register. The person on the register was very friendly and we had a great time interacting with him. Unfortunately we forgot to ask for his name. The rest of the staff were very friendly and assisting. Service was pretty fast even though it was peak lunch time. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs and arugula salad. I absolutely loved the bright, tangy dressing on the arugula. It highlighted the arugula really nicely. The eggs were perfectly poached and the yolk was actually very vibrant. So much so that I had to pause and comment how vibrant it was. There were also red peppers under the egg, so if it's too much of a kick, feel free to scrape some off. I also had their lemon bar and their matcha latte. Good matcha, but the lemon bar won me over. Not too sweet, good crumble, it was a great dessert for a sunny day. Would be back to try other things on the menu.
This was an absolute out standing find! Like a step into a little Italian Market. Hope you get a chance to sit at the coffee bar for the best seat in the house. The staff were very nice and helpful. You order at the counter and sit wherever you like The food portions were not the best but the quality was amazing! I had the BLT and the sandwich definitely did not have enough bacon.
I absolutely enjoy the experience of Olive and Thyme. It has modern, cozy farm house vibes, the food is incredible, the refreshments/beverages/lattes are incredible, service is great and pricing is actually very fair for the quality and quantity of the food you receive. I ordered the Green Goddess Chicken Avocado plate and there's no way to describe how amazing this dish is! It is made with what i beleive is Tarragon which can be a new flavor to most people, but my friends all tried some of my dish and really liked it as well! My friends got the Crispy Chinese Chicken and California Chicken Sandwich which they all really liked. They also all ordered drinks, one got the Watermelon refresher, one got lavender lemonade and the other ordered a iced latte. Every one left very full and satisfied. The ambiance is so nice, though a bit cramped since it is on the smaller end of cafes, it still just feels cozy! We did come around 2:00pm which made it wasy for us to find seating, but I have come earlier and it is very hard to find a place to sit. The only complaint I have is the lack of parking. Please visit this spot, you won't regret it!
I love this place. I usually go for sweets for brunch, but the breakfast burrito caught my eye on the menu and when seeing it served to another guest. Alas, I passed on the scrumptious-looking Nutella Pancakes! The breakfast burrito had everything I love in a savory breakfast--bacon, scrambled eggs, avocado, tater tots, cheddar cheese, and a delicious green salsa! Being the condiment aficionado I am, I asked for a side of ketchup and mayo and boy did I have one of the best brunch outings in a while. 10/10. The coffee is robust and you get free refills. Win. Win all-around. Those sweet treats from the dessert case and the quiche are still calling my name, the latter looked heavenly from my friend's plate. Olive and Thyme, I'll be back!

I'm not usually a brunch/sandwich spot kind of person, but the sandwiches they have here are tops. They get the "bread - greens - protein" ratio just right in my opinion. I usually get the spicy chicken sandwich but I got the tuna this time around and it was great. The service is always good here too - the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. read more
What an adorable cafe! Love the French inspired decor and all the goodies to peruse. I found the menu to be limiting, given my dietary goals, and opted for the shredded chicken omelet with spinach and a matcha latte. Both were good. Cashier was hilarious and did a great job of putting smiles on faces. And, clean up was swift and friendly. This place would be perfect if they had more healthy/lighter options and some music for ambiance. Will definitely return, though. read more

Very cute spot! I had time until my appointment and came across this. I hadn't been here before but great find. They were busy but fast and efficient. I didn't get to try their food, but will be back for it. I had the iced vanilla latte and it was good. Not the best, but good. It was too milky for my taste, I do wish the coffee was a bit stronger. I'll be asking for an extra shot next time. I recommend trying it! read more

Hi!! Actually the taste of the food is totally 5 Stars!! But dang it's so pricey!! My Avocado & Barrata Toast $18!!!! But fortunately it was filling and tasted great!!! I only did Take Out...and I phoned in my order 45 minutes prior to picking this up and I told the person on the phone it will be for 12:30pm pickup, and when I arrived, I was told 2 more minutes, apparently I ended up waiting additional 10 minutes, while I see people picking up their food and go. I had to remind the guy that rang me up, about my food!!! So, I have NO Comment on the service because it can be a fluke on my service today, but I was definitely not happy with it. Inside the restaurant was nice a bright. Because I work near here, so I walked. I think parking may be hard, or you can park in the garage next door. read more

Not really sure how to feel about this place. For starters the menu is a bit misleading. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and in the pictures online it was pictured with a side salad but the menu mentioned nothing about a side salad. But you had the option to add a side of fries or tater tots for $10!!! (I thought was insane) I ordered just the sandwich to see. It was a bit small in size, it had a little spice to it but it was pretty dry for a sandwich. So I didn't really enjoy it, and it also came with nothing. My friend ordered the green goddess plate and it just came with an overload of chicken. It came with a shredded chicken in a green sauce, then with another container in the box, and then a side of plain shredded chicken so we were just kinda confused. My friends that ordered the Chinese chicken salad and the kale salad were happy with their meal. read more

Wonderful staff - so kind and go above and beyond. The interior is open, cozy, and intentional. The line to place your order runs smoothly and efficiently. Feels cozy and warm while also fresh and new. My dad says the grilled cheese is revolutionary and we went back just for that. I am a big fan of the avocado toast and the arugula with lemon vinaigrette on the side is simple yet fresh and light. A great place to stop in for a quick bite!! read more

We ordered the rigatoni sausage pasta, brioche sandwich, and breakfast burrito. We also had the banana Nutella pancakes, maple cold foam matcha-cano, and crème brûlée latte. The standout items are the rigatoni pasta, breakfast burrito (though it's small for the price) and maple cold foam matcha-cano. The vibe is nice, but it can be loud inside. Ambiance was really cute and casual. Had a little store on the inside with trinkets, knickknacks, books, etc. Service was exceptional Food was okay but pricey, considering everything is al la carte and portions are small. read more

The cutest place for Saturday morning brunch! It was a bit on the crowded side when we visited, but they had ample indoor and outdoor seating options! We ordered an iced vanilla latte, iced lavender latte, the short rib sandwich, and the spicy chicken sandwich. The two lattes tasted a bit milkier than we would've liked, but not so much so that it drowned out the flavors. The sandwiches were really filling and tasteful! Added a fifth star for their amazing staff! They were nothing short of being the absolute sweetest people! We were routinely checked in on (despite sitting outside). Came here with my mother on a Monday afternoon. Was surprisingly busy for a weekday but I think it's traffic from local businesses at lunch time. The atmosphere and design is super cute. It's a very loud restaurant though so don't expect anything quiet or intimate. Both my mother and I got sandwiches which were delicious. I kept seeing other peoples salads getting brought to their tables and they looked amazing so I'll have to try those at some point. Also an open faced tuna dish that looked excellent as well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. There's free street parking all around. I do wish the outdoor seating had more cover because otherwise you are roasting in the sun but otherwise a fun afternoon at this place. read more

Visited this well established eatery for the first time today. From the moment we entered we were welcomed. Tyler who noticed us trying to figure out where to sit or get served, waved us to him and explained how to order our food. I was so pleased with the quality of food, the atmosphere, the amazing customer service and the decor. We shared the kale salad, the raw veggie sandwich, the squash couscous salad, potato salad, dirty chai, and house lemonade. Everything was perfection! I don't often give five stars but this was absolutely well deserved. There's no better place in town. The cost was so reasonable and well worth every penny. Please, don't hesitate to go when your in town. It's a must! I can't wait for the next time. I'm now a big fan. Just for future visitors: You order cafeteria style. There's a line, you order and take a table number, and then a courteous server brings your food. You find your own seats. There's plenty inside and out. Tyler was kind enough to find a seat for us! Definitely one of my "go to" spots in Toluca lake! Love this place over and over...the food here is superb. From the salads to the sandwiches to breakfast. Matching innovation with comfort...while feeling familiar at the same time. We had ten avocado toast this time with the poached egg, hot honey and a bunch of other deliciousness! The coffee is excellent. I really like this chicken salad and the hummus is great. The decor is super fun and cool... very French with some LA mixed in for accents. Ima huge fan of the sweets as well...baked goods are crazy good. The service is always friendly and hip..making you feel like you belong. read more

Today we had a sit down lunch date at olive & thyme! Service was fast and seating was available inside and outside. Amazing oat latte! Espresso was so smooth and tasted perfect! I enjoyed the miso salmon bowl. Great spot to sit down for breakfast or lunch! read more
