I love olive burger. They are consistent in customer service and with their food. There never any surprises. They season and prepare the meals very well. They never try to be cheap and stingy with ingredients. One of my favorites is the chicken avocado burger. I was hesitant to order at first because a lot of times when you order things with avocado, they are normally too overripe/underipe or they put very small amounts. Not with olive burger, my burger is normally loaded with lots of avocado in the perfect condition. Despite high prices on avocado, they are not stingy. All I can really say is that it was edible and reasonably priced. We drove across town to try the food. The hamburgers were a good texture but no flavor or seasoning. I got the mushroom Swiss burger but it was really plain. The fried pickles and fried zucchini were frozen and soggy. When we got home, we realized that we had not received the French fries. I will say that this was handled really well. The young man remembered me and gave me options to rectify the issue (I chose to get a refund). I went here for lunch and I got a chicken caesar wrap. This wrap is humongous. It's similar to a Chipotle sized burrito and it's filled with so much goodness: salad, caesar dressing, perfectly grilled chicken (and lots of it), parmesan cheese, and crispy croutons. Yum! I would have been satisfied just eating one half of the wrap but my fatass ate both and I was very happy, full, and ready for a food coma. Olive Burger is a no frills casual fast food joint among many new and somewhat swanky restaurants in the NW Plano area along the 121. Of course they serve burgers, as well as salads and gyro sandwiches too. The dine-in area is nice and clean, with plenty of seating inside. There is also a drive thru as well. This is a good little burger joint with friendly staff and tasty burgers. It definitely has an independent, family owned QSR feel to it. Ingredients are fresh and the burgers and sides are an appropriate size. If you're a bacon cheeseburger lover like me, it's important to note that it's a halal restaurant so they do beef bacon rather than pork bacon. I arrived just in time to beat a crowd that arrived shortly after me. Despite the crowd rush the gentleman that took my order also took his time in explaining the menu to me since it was my first visit. I ordered two Ultimate cheese burgers, a regular cheese burger, and a family fry. The ultimate burger was delicious. It had so much stuff on it I was almost deterred from ordering it. Avocado, cheese, jalapenos, mushrooms, grilled onion, lettuce and beef bacon. But the flavors meshed together wonderfully. It was so big I could not eat it all. The fries were fresh and hot. The best fries I've ever had. I'm not a fry person but they had a seasoning on them that was out of this world. My only complaint would be that the hubby's burger was a little pink inside, but he didn't mind because he likes his beef medium well. The only other thing that shocked me is the burgers had beef bacon on them. I've never even heard of beef bacon before now. I will be going back. We enjoyed our food. Tried this place after searching yelp for the best fries in Plano. Regular fries were good, decent portion but not overly large. Sweet potato fries were OK, not great. Had some hard burned pieces mixes in with good ones. The grilled cheese was a disappointment - the cheese was only melted along the very edges, while the center was actually refrigerator-cold. My son's grilled cheese was exactly the same. I won't return to this restaurant, but if you are a fan of grilled cheese, there were four slices of cheese on each sandwich, so if it had been properly cooked it would have been an amazing cheesy experience. Just ask for it to be extra crispy maybe. On the plus side for some. the restaurant is halal certified. read more

Ordered cheese fries, and seems like they use a cheap brand of cheese, ranch I got with it is blah......some watery stuff. Live nearby wanted to try it out, should've gone elsewhere. Country Burger, Rodeo Goat are better options. Fries are a lil overcooked too, kid working the register was a bit of a jerk, but what do you expect from a kid. I've been to both the RIchardson, once, and Plano, twice, locations. I like the Plano location best as it is more like a normal eatery and not so much a hole in the wall. The food at the Plano location might also be better. I had the cheese steak at both and the Richardson one was too salty. The gyro wasn't all that great. I was a customer at their Richardson location. I'm glad they opened in Plano. Great service, great fresh food, even the take out is great, it's still hot after you get home. We had a cheeseburger, onion rings, gyro, and a side of fries. M wife enjoyed the burger, and it was good. I had the gyro and it was massive and good. Bring your appetite. I will be visiting the location again. They were super busy the night I came in for take out and they still got me in and out the door in 15 minutes. We went in on a night that was busy. The cashier failed to mention that EVERYONE in the entire restaurant had just walked in... and that there would be a 45 minute wait. We would have come back another day. Instead, during our check-backs to see how much longer (after a reasonable 20 minutes or so) they kept telling us "not much longer" which means "another 25 minutes" to them. We weren't impressed with the food, either. There are PLENTY of burger joints around that taste better and have much better service. read more

It's been a very long time since I've had a burger this good, opined my wife. Like 8 years. Two basic cheeseburger's, a basket of family fries, a gyro and an order of cheese sticks used up most of two twenties and was way more food than three of us needed. But it was so damn good we ate it all. The gyro had great flavor and was overstuffed with meat. Occasional pieces were a bit over cooked, but not in anyway burnt. If I had to make a complaint I would say the sandwich needed more z sauce. The fries were outstanding. Perfectly crispy and soft. I tried a bite of the burger, yep it was outstanding. Even the American cheese had better than average flavor. We come to Plano a few times a year for lacrosse or hockey and will be visiting Olive Burger every time we do. read more

OMG!!! Just ate here a few days ago. Amazing!!!! Food is delicious! Burgers a great size tried the cheeseburgers with bacon. Ordered the kids nuggets with fries and super crispy fries and nuggets were so juicy. Also tried the lamb gyro. For once the wrap had more meat then vegetables. Very generous portion of meat. Extremely happy! .Prices are very reasonable. And of course the food cannot be great without the people cooking it. I always feel the people cooking it makes all the difference.
