I only wrote Yelp reviews if a place is out of this world. Well, this is place is simply, and for multiple reasons... awesome. First, the food is excellent. The eggs Benedict is some of the best "classic" Benedict you'll ever have with rich, tangy hollandaise. The service is friendly, always prompt and on their game, and the food comes out fast. Another cool point- Every time I've come in here, the owner himself is the one making food. That says something about the personal care and attention to detail that defines this place. He's a very nice guy, and an even better cook. Finally, this is place is very affordable, and I always feel compelled to tip generously as the food, service and overall attitude of the place is so great. So if you come here, You get to eat great food, very cheap, and support a great local business that employs some genuinely very nice people. This is now my "go-to" local restaurant and everyone I've brought here shares the sentiment. Do yourself a favor and check it out. read more

Timing is paramount when you come here for breakfast during Christmas week. Our group of 8 arrived at 9:00 AM, and the restaurant was already near full capacity. Fortunately, we got there just in time to snag the last of the available tables. The prices are very fair and the portions are quite large, so you should bring your appetite. I immediately tasted the freshness of the ingredients, and they were seasoned just right for my palate. A bonus is the super friendly staff. They are on point with their service, and my coffee cup was never empty. I look forward to my next visit for breakfast with the family. read more

I am lucky that I live closeby. The food is soooo good, especially the waffles covered in fresh fruit. The sausage is the best I've ever eaten. The waitress and cook/owner are friendly and efficient. First time here, probably wont come back. Pretty sure everyone that came in today wont be coming back. Sat down at 10:10am got served at 11am FOR BREAKFAST!!! What possibly takes that long to cook? Waitresses were clearly frustrated and started to get rude. Food was all burnt. Hash had a weird fishy taste. It got to the point where they told new patrons coming in "we have open tables but were not sitting people until the kitchen catches up." How embarrassing. Delicious breakfast right outside of Lincoln RI. Parking is limited but we were able to find a spot being that we went at about 1115a on a Saturday. The waitresses were extremely nice and attentive, everyone was helpful in making sure our needs were met. I ordered the lumberjack and it was amazing!!! I added onions to the home fries and it was so good!! The only downfall of the experience was that there were no turkey meats only pork sausage and bacon. Other than that, I will definitely be back!!! read more

Expanding - More Seating - Special Place Because Ollie's is expanding their dinning room by opening up the wall into the space next door that was a barbershop, they have been closed during construction (since July 2nd - and as of the 12th they are still closed). We are hoping they will reopen soon because Ollie's is a special place, hand's down, serving up the best, friendliest breakfasts and lunches around and they always have an extensive, delectable specials board. My wife and I have our breakfasts there most weekends and have never been disappointed by the food or the friendly, efficient staff - and that go's for everyone from the busy waitresses and cooks to the dishwashers, and the legion of easygoing friendly regulars. We've meet and made several new friends at Ollie's so don't be afraid to join up with some strangers at the "big" table sometime. read more

It's a great little neighborhood place. 5 of us went for breakfast. I got the Little Ollie, essentially eggs benedict, but on hash browns instead of an english muffin. It was a tasty treat. Everyone got something different; pancakes with blueberries and bananas, poached eggs and hash.... and everyone enjoyed their meals. The server was efficient and pleasant. Found this place while in route home. We shared the waffle with fresh large blueberries and whipped cream-delicious! And a spinach, mushroom omelet with Italian toast and sliced seasoned potatoes! The spinach was fresh baby spinach and the mushrooms tasted like fresh sliced mushrooms! The only thing missing was espresso but the coffee hit the spot. If your looking for a quick, cheap and easy breakfast I would definitely come here. My husband got the big Ollie and he was very happy. I would not recommend the flavored coffee hence it tasted like water. My rating would be higher but I think the service could have been better. read more

This has become a favorite of my wife and me. The cheese omelet with corned beef hash cooked into the omelet is great and my wife loves the eggs Benedict! This is a great small establishment where the owner clearly likes to see and interact with his customers while he runs his kitchen. Great breakfast place close to home. Great service and excellent food. Make sure to get here early or else you will have to wait for a table. Open for lunch and dinner on Friday but have yet to try. This place continues to be a favorite. Our favorite dish is the Big Ollie and the little Ollie. Ingenious dish of hashbrowns, chopped ham, Swiss cheese, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Excellence flavor combinations. Hollandaise ins fresh made so it's gluten free--other places use package mixes so it's not GF. Best Reuben sandwich around. Also, the fries are good to the last one. This is a great local diner. Servings are huge, the home fried potatoes are incredible, and breakfast is served all day.

Just like all the other reviews, breakfast here is delicious probably the best place in Cumberland , but it's rare to end up here because parking is so tough and there are very few spots to eat inside. read more

Love this place. Always a line to get in on weekends for breakfast but the prices are great and the service is even better. I've only gone in for breakfast but they also have a lunch menu. We visited Here for the first time this morning. We will definitely be returning! Excellent food, wonderful service, very homey atmosphere. I ordered two sunny side up eggs, home fries and toast, my husband had the full breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries and toast. The bill was under $17.00!! The chef did not like how one of my eggs came out, so he made me an extra one!! I told the waitress that it was not necessary, the eggs were fine, but she said he had already put another egg on the grill. Wow!!! I can't wait to go back, what a great place!!! read more

Breakfast will fill you up that's for sure home fries are great and everything comes out as you ordered it, and don't forget to go there on Friday the fish & chips are great, and so are the clam cakes. Ollie's is the best breakfast place in Cumberland by far! It's small inside and parking can be difficult to find, but totally worth the wait because the food is delicious and every member of the staff is so awesome!! The atmosphere is great with lots of locals chatting with one another and they accommodate any substitutions you want to make with a smile on their face. Love this place for breakfast!!!! (never been for lunch) Been here twice and both times everything was delicious! 1st time was on a Saturday around 10 a.m. and we had to wait about 1/2 hour for a table (definitely worth the wait) Today we got here before 9:00 and got right in, but by the time we left there was a wait. the prices are vey reasonable. Both times I got the lumberjack special with 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, homefries and choice of 2 pancakes or French toast...all for $7.75. I am not a big fan of sausage links, as I prefer sausage patties, but these are delicious. really good homefries and I opted for blueberry pancakes for an extra charge. Way too much food but absolutely worth the price. I know it's kind of hard to screw up breakfast, but this place does it right and it's worth the 30 minute drive from my house. Start by saying service was good. Not as good as I expected but eggs tasted good. No one in my party liked the homefries. The way they were sliced, some tasted like crunchy chip-like. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet and got very salty lunch meat ham and very little cheese. French toast was ok. I would say it's a 3.5 out of 5. read more
