The majority of the food was great. I ordered delivery. I paid $1.50 extra for raisin toast. That was the first of the issues. The toast was made with what appeared to be day old bread. It was not well toasted and was stale. If you order from here, get your own utensils. The knife didn't cut the steak and the fork broke into four pieces trying to just cut the steak. On top of it, I asked for Tabasco, and they sent everything but tabasco. It would have been nice to have a local place to get breakfast, but old toast and bad to go utensils is enough to keep looking. read more

Definitely not worth the money. I ordered a BREAKFAST SANDWICH with SAUSAGE. They cut 2 little tiny sausage links in half and put that on my sandwich. AND charged me $13 for it. Extremely disappointed in the quality of food. This was my first time ordering from them and all the reviews said they had good food. The food IS good which is why I gave them 2 stars. I used to love coming here but lately it has become a disappointment. The last three times I ordered eggs benedict, the eggs were over cooked and there was hardly any hollandaise sauce which made the meal very dry and unenjoyable. They changed their sour dough bread which is nowhere near as good as what they used to serve. This place is too expensive for what you get. I'm not sure if their prices went up or if I was just more ok with paying these prices when food was better but paying close to $30 with tip for breakfast for one isn't going to keep me coming back. I asked her to take both plates after finding curly hairs in the food :( and she only took one , then took drinks to other tables then she came back to charge and I asked her to take it and she was screaming that they took both off , and I was like .... I ordered 1 blueberry pancake, 2 eggs sunny side up and bacon. The pancake was big so I was only able to eat half of it but maybe I have a small stomach. This restaurant has been a family favorite every year we come down for a show at the Long Beach convention center. It is conveniently located maybe 2 or 3 miles from the convention center and there is a parking structure maybe a block away if you cannot locate street parking. Weekends are busy and there is usually a wait- but it's totally worth it. When compared to other breakfast/brunch restaurants this stands out for their flavorful meals, fair prices and friendly service. The only reason for 1 less star is the size of the restaurant(fairly small) and need for updates with decor, seating repairs and ambiance. On this visit I had the omelette with sausage and Italian toppings (sorry- forgot the name) . My dad got the vegetarian omelette and my hubby ordered their vegetarian chorizo and eggs. August 1, 2021 Stopped in here after a walk at the beach with my siblings. I've been trying to get here for years but never made it until today (08-01-2021) We grabbed a seat outside so we could cool off and enjoy the view and vibes! Good decision!! It was pretty huge and filled me up. I want to mention the sides are also amazing. We sat outside and enjoyed the morning. Service was friendly.
