Large Bowl (32oz) with grilled chicken
    Erik V.

This was my first time trying this place and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised! The description to the picture is below: Large (32oz) bowl Base: salad Protein: grilled chicken 2 veggies: Brussels sprouts $ mushroom Toppings (unlimited): broccoli, pickled red onions, cucumber, corn, fried onion bits and sesame seeds The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I think a large bowl should have more than 2 veggie selections, granted the veggies were very well sautéed and were tasteful! I would definitely come back to this place if I want something healthy and quick!

Stumbled to this place after going to the Dollar Tree. Really clean restaurant, a lot of choices. Healthy alternative to fast food. Everything was fresh and had good flavor. The BBQ Beef was my favorite. The bowl had a layer of rice, protein, then extra additives like veggies and toppings. It's definitely pricey, 3 bowls & a drink got me for like $50. But I definitely recommend.

Regular bowl with kimchi rice, chicken, mushrooms and broccoli, kale, corn, cheese, cilantro, pickled onions, sesame seeds, fried onions, and creamy cilantro dressing. The perfect order. Thank me later

If you like kbbq and haven't ate here yet, what are you waiting for?!? Seriously though, they need a rewards program for their app with the way my family likes to eat here. Every ingredient is fresh and the veggies have a nice crunch. The proteins, specifically the spicy pork, are well seasoned and the sauces add extra flavor. They're always on time for pickup orders. There's not many locations in LA so please keep them in business!

What do you want for lunch , what do you want for dinner,....? ON + ON !!! Yikes what the heck!!? Why have I not known about this place? !! Came in hopeful left Happy and Full !! The Food is Gooooood!! I had the Beef bowl with lots of topping and half Rice half Noodle. All the toppings were cooked individually and very well. I like hot and cold foods together with a wide Variety of flavors. So this is right up my Alley- FLAVOR TOWN!!! Service is Courteous and Straight to the point!! The tunes playing are pretty Good actually, mellow chill stuff. Volumes perfect so as not to make you annoyed. The Place is smallish but big enough to hold 5 - two tops. Aesthetics are minimalistic and clean. I will be back again and again!! Nom Nom Nommm!! 5 out of 5 for Quick Bites To Go Korean BBQ Fusion.

Big fan of On + On I've been to their other location near Compton. And I had a really good experience. Here at this location was the same. Fresh food and Fast. The young lady that helped me wasn't all that happy. But it's cool. I ordered the build your own bowl. Bbq beef and other toppings. This was my first time trying the kimchi rice. It was good but too spicy for me. That cilantro sauce slaps! Portions are good and price is fair. About $14. But it's worth it to me. Thanks for the good food and good experience. See you soon.

Ate an early dinner here earlier with my sister and loved the food we got! It was my second time eating food from here but first time at this location and was my sister's first time in general to try it! I ordered the kimchi pork bowl and really loved the flavor and taste of it! It was spicy but still tolerable! I honestly loved the flavor of the kimchi rice as well. My sister ordered the bulgogi bowl and said she really loved her food too. We both opted to order the black sesame pudding (because we both love anything black sesame haha) and yall it was so good!! It wasn't busy at all and the staff were friendly and very fast in making our bowls and getting our orders to us. The space inside is pretty small and only has about 4 two-seater tables but have more tables to eat outside. Overall really enjoyed the food here and would come back to try other things or try out the create your own bowl options.

Seating is limited inside! Only about 4 tables that can seat 2 people each. There's about 4 tables outside that can seat up to 4 per table though.

Do they have vegan or vegetarian options?

You build your own bowl so yes. There's kale, mushrooms, brussel sprouts and any array of vegetables available.

We shared: - bossam pork belly wraps- so good. The sauce and veg it came with were delicious. - pork neck stew- spicy and good. - Since they ran out of lots of the pork bones they supplemented with a bowl of galbi jjim and it was so good/ very beefy and clear broth. Well seasoned and salted. - bibim naengmyeon- we asked for the spicy sauce on the side, but ended up mixing it in. So good and chewy and spicy. They gave us a complimentary bowl of the mul naengmyeon which was also so delicious and refreshing. - seolleongtang- it was so beefy and delicious. The banchan were so tasty. So this is my honest experience of this restaurant from my visit today at dinner time…read more It's not good. It about 60% full. Our food was mediocre at best. We ordered the galbi combo with spicy tofu. Soup was under seasoned and inedible. The galbi was the cheapest flaken cut you can buy at the Korean market. Its was fatty and full of gristle and was not cooked and was raw in the middle. The staff in Korean were bad mouthing and so sour working there it was sad. If you under staffed and unhappy then go to the back and scream and cuss but Why are you so sour and make sure the customers can hear you while passing by with the food and complain it's too busy ? There was one elderly lady maybe in her 80s with possibly her two daughters. They were sitting there for at least 45 minutes when the waitress came up and said I just want to double check your order that's when they realized that the waitress didn't even put their order in they were saying in Korean that please don't leave. Granny is here and we will get the food out as soon as possible and yet as they were leaving the table, you can see them with a smirk on their face. It was disgusting. The worst part is isn't actually even over there must've been a table of 20 across from us celebrating a birthday and they were there before we were and they must have been served at least an hour after us and the waitresses were so rude to them. I felt so bad for that party, but they looked so laid-back. I don't know if they really even noticed or cared. We ended up trying to pay for 10 minutes to get out of there and finally just got our own containers from the weight station a plastic bag and as they saw that we were leaving they finally took our payment Maybe this was an off night maybe there was a different cook in the back maybe they were so busy that they just couldn't pay attention to flavor any of their food or cook it thoroughly. Maybe they were short and someone called in for staffing. All I know is everyone with the prior reviews seem to have great service and food, but this is definitely not what we experienced and definitely not what the table behind us or the table in front of experienced This was by far hands-down, the worst experience. Hopefully this never happens to you cause we'll never come back.

The inside is nice and spacious, a little dimly lit and clean. The worker was very friendly and service was quick. We asked for his recommendation and he suggested we try any of the yukgaejang. He brought out two sets of banchan - fish cakes which were firmer and more seasoned with sesame oil than some other place which was pleasant, a nice sweet fresh kimchi, and some chive kimchi, as well as the condiments for our dishes. To split, we got the small bossam, the rice cake and dumpling soup, the mul naengmyeon, and the yukgaejang with fresh pasta. Everything was super flavorful, large enough to split between the 5 of us, and delicious. The standouts are definitely the yukgaejang - the fresh pasta may sound weird but is a nice chewy thick noodle and the broth is rich and flavorful with just a bit of spice - and the bossam - at a lot of places the small bossam is still huge, and this was a good size so that we still had room for other dishes, and the meat itself was more flavorful, tender and nice and warm on the steamer that it came out on! The rice cake and dumpling soup and the mul naengmyeon were also solid. I'll definitely be back at Yuk Dae Jang for a warm comforting bowl of yukgaejang and bossam with friends :) Bonus, you don't have to go to ktown!

Instead of showing any understanding or hospitality, the owner told me to leave the restaurant and wait in the coffee shop next door. I was shocked because I had every intention of purchasing food. I wasn't causing a disturbance or asking for anything unreasonable. The way I was spoken to and treated made me feel embarrassed, unwelcome, and honestly as though I was being judged before I was even given a chance to order. I left feeling humiliated. Customer service is about treating people with basic kindness and respect, and unfortunately, that was completely missing during my visit. I won't be returning, and I hope the owner learns that a little compassion can make a huge difference in how customers are treated.

So during the warmer days, you may want to weigh out whether you prefer cooking your own food or if you want air conditioning. The food here is very delicious! We had the moo package which is primarily beef. There were various appetizers to try and the package was more than enough for 5 of us. Ambiance is pretty relaxed, you get your usuals or people new to KBBQ. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, happy to explain anything so you don't have to be a KBBQ pro to dine here. The service is good, better when it's busier since they check in more frequently. When it's slower you may have less check-in's from the staff, probably due to less staff during slower hours. There IS parking in the rear but the spaces can be kind of tight so finding parking truly depends on the time of day you go. Overall, I am never disappointed here and I recently brought someone here who wasn't a fan of KBBQ and this experience won him over. I even got promised to be brought back again! Definitely worth making a visit, highly recommend.

Beef belly - 10/5, my favorite cut and they have an excellent balance of fat and meat. Brisket - 5/5, good! But chewier than the beef belly since it's a lean cut. Garlic Pork belly - 4/5, delicious but the garlic burnt on the grill. Pork belly slices - 5/5, more convenient than pork belly since the slices are thinner and cook faster. For about 35-40 minutes, no one checked on our table, our grill wasn't changed, and we weren't able to place any additional food orders until we flagged someone down. That level of communication and service is very unprofessional. To make matters worse, an automatic 18% gratuity is added for parties of four or more. It feels like there is little incentive to provide good service when the tip is guaranteed regardless of the experience. Overall, the food quality and service have both gone downhill. I'll probably spend the extra 15 minutes driving and go to GEN or another Korean BBQ restaurant instead. Very disappointing experience.

It was a busy day for Mul Naeng-Myeon but they conveniently had a couple tables for us. They can get busy, and there was a line forming as we were eating, so it is understandable if the service can seem a little pushy at times, and this comes out in very subtle ways (i.e. There's no AC, only a small fan. If they want you to leave, they'll position the fan away from you). Cold water is also only available upon request, as well as extra napkins. Otherwise, you'll be wiping your mouth with a one-ply napkin the whole time. The banchan was great. I especially loved the onions and perilla leaves. The kimchi tasted fresh and tangy, but the radishes were a bit too sweet and cut very clunky. The Naeng-Myeon was good; it tasted very heavily of sesame, and not much else. The meat was also pretty tough to chew. Very filling, but expensive for the amount of meat you get. Definitely made use of the vinegar and mustard, which they eventually took away to give to another table. I'm thinking I just ordered the wrong thing and came on the wrong day. I saw what other people ordered, and it looked delicious, always served with enthusiasm. Next time, I'll have what they're having.
