The only thing I would've changed was that I should've gotten a large red velvet latte inside of medium, trust me I won't make that mistake again! What a fabulous find on our way to airport. To be honest we were not expecting such an awesome coffee and food place so were extremely pleased once inside! It's fresh and spacious with modern decor, comfy sofas and tables w chairs. Staff amazingly friendly and patient as we browsed the drinks and food menu which is extensive. We went for fresh brew black coffee and a cappuccino, barista took her time preparing and even explained the process. In a United States where coffee is readily available at every turn, it is nice to have a new café that serves both caffeine and community so close to me. I like my latte iced, with no flavoring. I want my coffee to taste like coffee, and that's exactly what I get here. Not to say that those who like sweetness do not have options here. There are syrups for your drinks and delicious pastries as well. My banana nut loaf was warmed and delicious. This has been my fourth visit, and I am looking forward to trying some of their other food options next time. The café is spacious with plenty of seating and a nice coastal feeling decore. The music sets the mood, and they even have a small kids' corner, which I imagine is helpful when you want your boost and your child wants everything else. What makes this place most special is Rebecca and Adolfo. They are friendly, attentive, and all-around cool people. They are always taking time to get to know their guest and make sure their customers are satisfied with their purchase. Their staff is just as friendly and attentive as well. Came to leave a review about the food being decent, the ambiance being cool and the coffee being pretty good, but reading the owners response to some of the negative reviews was quite baffling and made me feel like the concept of "one love" was not supported here despite the name. Seems very unprofessional to attack people's opinions and make assumptions about their beliefs just because they are different from yours- that goes against the one love movement entirely and left a really bad taste in my mouth. Would be worth the owner taking in some of the constructive criticism vs. bashing guests that have spent their time and money at her place or business- no one is trying to tear down a small business but everyone is entitled to their opinion and that is sole purpose of Yelp. read more

I got an iced matcha latte, which didn't taste like matcha at all. It just ended up tasting like sugary milk instead. The cookies and cream latte was just okay, according to my boyfriend. It mainly tasted like a plain chocolate latte instead. I also got an açaí protein bowl that was just okay as well...probably the worst one I've had in a while. The banana that was on it was still a little unripped. The açaí itself tasted like frozen water with a hint of açaí berry. This is a super cute, convenient cafe with tons of food options and decent service but, I was underwhelmed with the Acai bowl I ordered. The fruit was fresh however, the acai itself was the texture of shards of glass/frozen ice. Like flavored ice. It wasn't smooth. creamy or sweet. Granted, all acai differs from place to place but, this wasn't my cup of tea. It didn't have much flavor and if I'm giving my honest opinion, I was a little annoyed because there was honey all over the to go container which transferred onto the plastic bag and onto the utensils and essentially all over my hands. It was a mess. Just a little bit more care in this area would've been nice. I'll definitely consider going back to try something different just not an acai bowl. read more

I recall repeating my order to him and him repeating it back. 2 lavender chi latte 1 avocado toast with egg/tomatoes 1 RED VELVET waffles I was brought all but a red velvet latte. there were only 2 of us eating. I brought it to the young man attention so the barista made the correction of course charging me the difference for the correct item. She didn't look happy because the latte she made i returned but get this, it too 20 minutes for my daughter to get her waffles. Food: I don't mind spending and supporting small businesses because that what I do especially growing up on this side of the bay but the food be a bit better. serving a mix green salad as part of a garnish is a waste. Try adding a light dressing like balsamic vinaigrette so customers can eat it. I ordered the avocado toast because I wanted to see if there was anything unique about the their version since it's the most simplistic food to make from home, sadly there was nothing unique about the taste. The red velvet waffles that we had to wait for an additional 20 mins. My daughter said it was ok. She had way better. First time customer and may be the last time. read more
