I'm a sucker for trying new coffee spots and i'm so glad to find this place literally near me! The space itself was neat and clean, a lot of seatings as well. The workers were super friendly and was nice enough to help me choose between the red velvet or the toffee. I ended up going for an iced toffee latte and it was really good! The lady was kind enough to place my drink in their bigger size cup since my drink had too much ice and she wanted to make sure I got the toffee candy bits in it too. I went again the next day to try their red velvet and I usually prefer my coffee to be on the sweeter side so it was a bit bitter for me - I would ask for extra sweet next time! I wanted to love this place. The ambiance is super cute and they have unique coffees on the menu. It's a small business, which holds a special place for me. Unfortunately, both times I've gone it has let me down. The first time I ordered a Creamy Coconut Latte with Avocado Toast. The latte was exceptionally sweet and I couldn't finish even half. I ended up tossing it. The Avocado Toast with Bacon and Egg had very little avocado spread and 1 piece of bacon and 1 egg. It did not look like the picture, and it not filling in the least bit. I spent over $20 on my meal and it felt like such a waste. I tried it again recently - this time I put in a mobile order for a regular coffee and a specialty coffee for pickup. My husband and I were 20 minutes out from the cafe. When I arrived, there was one or two (max) tables taken and three workers at the front with one that makes the food at the back. This was during the Posey Parade. I let them know about the pickup for two coffees and they explained it's going to take a few minutes because they need to brew the coffee. And they have yet to start the specialty coffee. I explained i put the order in 20 min ago and they said they're busy with the Posey Parade. However, there were four workers at the front - two seemed to be just talking casually until I arrived a seemingly empty cafe. They got the coffees ready within minutes and as I stepped out, I ran into the owner who must of seen me frustrated. She was so sweet to ask if everything is okay and I explained the situation. She mentioned the parade and I let her know this is not my first bad experience. She apologized and went on her way. I encourage you do the same - go on your way past the One Love Cafe to a place that gives you a decent product and better service for the money you spend! read more

Came here on a visit & was ready to try a new spot near me, I show up & order my food just for them to say they don't have any chicken. I proceed to order SUPER breakfast burritos that include bacon & avocado ( at an extra charge ofc ) and once we receive them I take a couple bites and don't taste any bacon or avocado in them , as well as the other two people I came with , we were starving but I decided to speak up and say something because we paid for them to be done that way. It was 3 burritos and the ticket clearly said that they were super burritos but they all were done wrong . They offered to remake them or put the things on the side , I said on the side was fine because I didn't want to bother them any more but I should've just asked for my money back because as we continued to eat and they brought the things on the side I just felt 2 of the employees looking at us and laughing making us feel a certain way for speaking up on something that should've been done right to begin with. It could've been because they were about to close but that's no excuse if we are paying for a service. A huge thank you to one employee who offered to try make it right. read more

This cafe was previously another cafe and to my delight the new owner finally opened their doors. The owner Rebecca is so welcoming and made my (already) 2 visits an awesome visit. They served us sour milk in our coffee, and when we requested a cold brew with pistachio cold foam, the cashier admitted he didn't know how to make it and didn't bother asking for help. While they did replace the drink, our sandwiches, which were supposed to come with chips, arrived without them. The staff argued they should come with fruit, which we also didn't receive. A warmed up almond croissant took 20 minutes to get. The entire order--4 drinks, 2 croissants, and 2 sandwiches--took over 30 minutes. O man! I am not a big yelper or reviewer, but I just had to give this business an honest review after being misled here. The have over 100 reviews, so this led me to come here with high hopes and excitement. Not only was customer service SO SLOW (I waited over 30 minutes for my latte????), I had a BLACK HAIR in my bagel. I'm sitting here basking in a well-caffeinated glow savoring the vibe. Super friendly staff - they seem to know a lot of the regulars here and were friendly and accommodating.
