A sliver of Tuna. It's like they chopped up one inch of tuna into 12 pieces. I know inflation is here but bruh
    Melanie D.

I give it a two because it is tasty and conveniently located for the workers and army base in the area HOWEVER, as a first time visitor, this place is a rip off. I see why they call it ONE poke because they give you ONE inch of tuna chopped up into 12 pieces. The flavor is decent and so is the portion size but I'll never return. Here are some places that are much better for price and portion, even in this economy: Jus' Poke. King poke, Sweetfin poke even mono poke (only because it's close and i rarely even go there)- maybe they spoiled me but this place didn't even have garlic chips. If you drop the E and switch the O this with the N that's how i feel about this place

Tiny portion and where's the fish? Lol

The tiniest portions of tens of poke places I've been all over the country. I've never seen scoops that tiny before lol. Don't waste your money.

Surprisingly excellent find! Don't let the quiet weekend vibe of the business district fool you--this place is a gem. We dropped in for a late lunch looking for something light, and it absolutely hit the spot. We shared a 3-protein bowl, but after the first bite, I instantly regretted not getting my own! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the sauces were standout. We chose the spicy mayo, which was impressive--usually, the mayo dulls the heat, but this stayed perfectly spicy. I'll definitely be back (and I'm not sharing next time).

This place is super fast, friendly and on point every time. I'm visiting from out of town and working nearby and every lunch from One Poke has been fresh and delicious. It's an order at the counter and choose your own adventure type spot with kind staff.

3 scoops! Very little amount of protein

We stopped here for a quick lunch because we wanted something fast and healthy. The fish here looked pretty fresh. I was pretty hungry so I got the large one with all salmon. It is very expensive here and the Large one, each of the 3 scoops was so small. I got it with salad. I finished the Large salad and was still hungry. Overall, it was okay but if I was in the area again and craving poke, this would not be my stop of choice.

To our surprise, we found this "new" place, The Second Wind. The menu looked enticing and the lunch specials really looked like a great deal. So we decided we needed to come back for lunch and soon. A week later, we returned. Parking is very easy in the free lot for the complex. The interior design is energenic, vivrant with amazing looking Asian inspired pop art. Very cool interior. You can be seated and served or order to go. They have a combination lunch special, two items for $15.99. But, many of those items have an up charge if you add a protien. Either way, in these times, $16 for two items is reasonable. Our server greeted us quickly and let us choose the table of our liking. There are a handful of booths and open tables. My wife ordered the Beef Bulgogi and the Eggplant. I ordered the Chicken Dumplings and the Garlic Noodle (adding chicken for $2 more). The portions are generous. Light eaters might be able to just order one two dish combo and share. The Beef Bulgogi was good but the veggies looked a bit dehydrated. The Eggplant was just okay. The Chicken Dumplings were very tasty but served cool. I ordered them steamed and expected them to be warm at least. The Garlic Noodles with chicken was the biggest disappointment. To me, and my wife, over cooked with crunchy pieces. The chicken was also over cooked, dry and tough. When our server asked how things were, I mentioned it. He didn't seem surprised. I asked if the noodles were always dry and he said yes. He offered to bring more sauce, which he did. I added it but it didn't make the chicken any better. In the end, I left 90% of it. They only have cans of sodas so no refills but they are attached to a tea house that serves a great selection of teas, bobo, etc. There was some good things but more not, overall, we were disappointed. Honestly, I was a bit surprised they didn't offer to replace my dish or offer a small discount. They could see the pile of food I left. Anyway... Hopefully your experience and food preparation will be better than ours and...enjoy!!!

We ordered four dishes, Dan Dan Mian, sichuan eggplant, chili wonton, and duck bao. The Dan Dan was unique. I didn't expect it to be spicy like all the other ones I've tried. But it was amazing! I ordered a drink and asked if they could remove the coconut, only to be told they couldn't because it was already mixed in. That made it seem like the drink was premade rather than prepared fresh to order. My dish also came with bell peppers, even though bell pepper wasn't listed as an ingredient on the menu. If an ingredient isn't listed, I don't expect to find it in my food. Additionally, bun was cold on the happy hour burger. And to top it all off, they didn't even have ranch. Overall, too many little issues in one visit, and unfortunately not an experience I'd want to repeat.

As far as decoration and space, I like the El Segundo location better. Also, the cocktails were well balanced and refreshing. Additionally, the staff from hostess to our server and busser were all amiable and professional. The downside was the food, which is the most important thing for the restaurant and determines if I was coming back. I used to be so delighted at the flavors and creative little twists at Little Sister. However, the food these past two visits to Little Sister was basic at best. For example, we ordered the papaya salad and there was no flavors as in no dressing. We ordered the short ribs and the flavor was uneven and bland in 2/3rd of the meat and the noodles were also dry. Even their famous garlic noodle and crepe was too soggy and even bitter (overcooked ingredients). I was with good friends and with the cocktails, we still had a fun night but was very disappointed at the food has really gone down in the past few years. The sad thing is the quality of the ingredients was not the issue. Seems like the prep and execution has gotten lax and lazy and it really felt like the kitchen was phoning it in. I am still giving it a 3 stars instead of less stars to wish them improvement. The fried rice with prawns and imperial rolls still holds up. And due to their service staff, I cannot give them less. These days, it is hard for restaurants to get professional and decent staff so please appreciate them.

There is so much love, so much heart that is put into the food. Additionally, the amount of food is coma sending. I finished the food and was so ready to take a nap in the warm weather. It's literally like eating grandma's food when youre a young child. The spicy tuna came out first and we were shocked at how delicious the fish was. There wasn't a lot of rice which I appreciated and that fish had a bit of a kick. Pair that with some wasabi shoyu and you're tasting some real goodness. The spam musubi was solid with the furikake. My only gripe was that it had a bit too much rice which could have been better balanced with a thicker slice of spam. Regardless, it was solid. Now the star was the chicken combo. Boy oh boy, that Ladybug Fried Chicken was amazing. The batter had so much flavor and added to the juicy chicken. Pair that with you salad and mac salad.. oh my.. youre tasting a slice of Heaven! Fair warning, there is some grinded celery in the mac salad, so if youre allergic then let them know. Otherwise, that aroma of celery added so much depth to the mac. I can't emphasize enough, there is so much love in the food and the servers take gooooood care of you. It was also amazing to see how much attention to detail the owners put in the restaurant. There is ladybug decor all throughout the place and hand drawn papers from customers. It was really neat to see how much love they receive from their customers.

It was a busy day for Mul Naeng-Myeon but they conveniently had a couple tables for us. They can get busy, and there was a line forming as we were eating, so it is understandable if the service can seem a little pushy at times, and this comes out in very subtle ways (i.e. There's no AC, only a small fan. If they want you to leave, they'll position the fan away from you). Cold water is also only available upon request, as well as extra napkins. Otherwise, you'll be wiping your mouth with a one-ply napkin the whole time. The banchan was great. I especially loved the onions and perilla leaves. The kimchi tasted fresh and tangy, but the radishes were a bit too sweet and cut very clunky. The Naeng-Myeon was good; it tasted very heavily of sesame, and not much else. The meat was also pretty tough to chew. Very filling, but expensive for the amount of meat you get. Definitely made use of the vinegar and mustard, which they eventually took away to give to another table. I'm thinking I just ordered the wrong thing and came on the wrong day.
