    Wagyu tri tip

3.75 stars rounded up. Deciding between three & four stars was difficult. One Steakhouse was short staffed when we visited & delays in ordering & receiving dishes drastically prolonged dinner. That, on top of appetizers & sides that didn't make the grade (think: greasy potato gratin, chain-restaurant quality shrimp scampi, & thick-cut bacon that doesn't hold a candle to others we've tried), reduce the likelihood of a return visit. However, One Steakhouse's saving grace are their steaks; heated to 1200°, they develop the most incredible crust. My 6oz Filet Mignon ($58) had the best textural contrast of tender & juicy on the inside with that crisped-up, flavorsome exterior. My bf also enjoyed his order -- Wagyu Tri-Tip, moderately priced at $45 & possessed a distinctive rich wagyu taste, as well as a properly-cooked Lobster Tail for $35. (Sidenote: the tough lobster tail from Golden Steer lives rent-free in his head.) Pros & cons are neck & neck, but ultimately, One Steakhouse came through with steaks & a lobster tail that can compete with our favorite Vegas spots, & for that, they deserve the upgraded rating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not white-table-cloth fancy, but a nice, dimly-lit place for dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And unlike some exorbitant Vegas steakhouses, One leaves you with some gambling money for later.

I forgot the tall drink, but the smaller one is a lychee martini

This was absolutely perfect to go to a steakhouse while staying at the resort. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and all of the sides were perfect. The service was also amazing in the ambience as well. It's not very big so make sure that you make your reservations first before going.

Amazing flavors compliments to the chef.

Mom & Son night out, we wanted something close to the sphere we were going to see the Eagles We were happy customers! We didn't make a reservation so we sat at the nice bar with very nice service! Our tomahawk was tender & flavors were delightful! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Truly enjoyed the piano player, she sang beautiful![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you excellent evening!

We came here for a family dinner out and sat at the bar with our favorite bartender, Johnny! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is always quick and friendly and not too loud, so you can have a conversation with your table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the baked short rib rigatoni and loved it! It has a nice spicy mild tomato sauce and I like that they added a protein to the dish, short rib was a good choice. It was super flavorful! My boyfriend got the ribeye. It was good but needed more salt and was a bit leaner than what we are used to for a ribeye. Thankfully, the servers brought out some salt and pepper without us asking. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals and I heard the crab legs are really good here. We got to try and share the triple chocolate truffle cake and the banana foster. I unfortunately couldn't get a picture of the banana foster dessert because we took a bite before we took photos, but it was delicious and the group favorite, highly recommend it!

Just recently started playing Virgin casinos due to the reward card changing for the better...they gave me a 25 dollar food credit with our stay and since we have tried almost all the restaurants, we decided to give this a whirl. Not really feeling steak, we browsed the menu and found some items to our liking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is very pretty inside, but still a little close to the casino.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were the only ones in there at 5pm so it seemed like a private dining experience...more patrons came in around 6pm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We looked at the wine menu and picked out a bottle of Sauvignon blanc. It was good and matched our choices well. I got the scallops and hub got the Short rib pasta. He had looked at pictures online, and thought this was smaller, but they turned it into an entree now and it was quite big. We also got a side of gnocchi with peppercorn sauce. The scallops were amazing..I wish they had not put the bacon there...it did not need it, and the cauliflower purée they mentioned and hoped for was barely there. Hub liked his pasta a lot...just very big. The gnocchi was good too. I might be back to try a steak when in the mood...like I said...very pretty restaurant. Service was amazing as well.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]One Steakhouse offers a polished, intimate setting and solid service, but overall it didn't quite live up to the hype--especially compared to other steakhouses around the Strip.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My steak (pictured) was nicely presented and cooked well, but the flavors didn't really stand out. While everything was executed properly, nothing felt especially memorable or unique, and the dish didn't quite justify the price point when you compare it to top-tier Vegas steakhouses nearby. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was professional and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant for a quieter night out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cocktails were decent, though again, nothing that really wowed. Overall, it is perfectly fine if you're staying nearby or want a low-key steakhouse experience, but with so many exceptional options in Las Vegas, this wouldn't be my first choice. Solid, just not standout.

I would bet I eat here at least 3 times during SEMA. This place is always great. The food is fantastic. What we always do is order our mains and the a bunch of different sides. Never had anything bad at all. The cheesecake for desert is a win. The servers are amazing. Very attentive and always have great suggestions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating and all that is great there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very welcoming feeling as you come in and sit down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Usually not a fan of anything at the virgin hotels so we were EXTREMELY shocked after eating dinner there 1. Service was AMAZING 2. Ambiance was very nice, well kept, & not overly crowded 3. Food was SURPRISINGLY FANTASTIC Best poke or tuna I've had on the strip!! Hands down!! That one bite prepared me for what was in store the rest of the night. Pork belly with the apples paired well, wasn't overly oily and was a great app. We weren't a huge fan or the fried rock shrimp, but the calamari was good. Loved the presentation on both! Mushrooms & fish were ok. The gnocchi + salad was great Will definitely be back

Food was great! came to spend money(: :) our waiter "Bo" was horrible and condescending and for that reason I'll never step foot in here again ....

One of the options when you order the tremendous and tantilizing $68 Rib Eye is they offer to bring it to you sliced

Classy restuarant in my FAVORITE HOTEL, The VIRGIN LAS VEGAS. Great atmosphere and STEAKS!! Top of the Line Service, especially at the bar from Professional Bartender John aka "JOD." It's nice to eat a great meal and feel VALUED AS A CUSTOMER. Tell John, "Bobby Sent You." HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

NY STRIP* 16oz 73 Greeley, Colorado Slightly over medium rare.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Some restaurants have an artificial, pretentious vibe. They did a good job of providing a nice atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was pretty good, the staff who brought out the food were nice. Server was poor. I'm not sure why. I don't do or say anything to cause problems. The server wasn't so nice, unfriendly. Gave much better, personable care to the other guests. Ended my meal with the check dropped off at my table half way through my dessert (a first in over 100 meals in Las Vegas), processed the payment and brought back the card/receipt without saying anything at all. I didn't enjoy my experience. I don't understand.

After searching all over Vegas for a steakhouse for my birthday dinner I came across One Steakhouse and I want to say they did not disappoint! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance and vibes were BEAUTIFUL![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great! The food and drinks were delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was very lowkey not too upscale and it wasn't packed at all for it to be 830pm on a Sunday but that was something that I loved the most![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One is conveniently located in the Virgin hotel which made our decision to try this restaurant out a no brainer. The decor, pianist and colorful glass structures, dangling from the ceiling, immediately caught my eye upon entering. The hostess was prompt in her greeting and seating us which was appreciated. After being seated, the waiter brought out the menu and provided us with recommendations. I started with a lychee martini for my drink of choice and we were given complimentary bread rolls. While waiting on our food, we enjoyed listening to the live music and singer. For our entrées, we ordered the Fennel Salmon Crusted Salmon, Brussels Sprouts, and the One Steak Burger. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The lobster butter on the salmon was chef's kiss! I mean.. I'm still thinking about that entrée very delicious. My significant other's burger was nice in size and full of meat! This is a place you should definitely check out. The bar was packed and everyone was enjoying themselves. Tables were filled with guests enjoying good food and great company. Experience it for yourself :)

She was personable, engaging, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcomed throughout the entire evening. She is, without a doubt, one of the best servers I've ever had. She struck the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness, and her attention to detail made our dinner even more enjoyable. We also had the opportunity to meet Eric, the manager, who was equally impressive. He took the time to stop by our table, made us feel welcome, and ensured everything exceeded our expectations. That level of hospitality really stands out. The salmon was incredible, by far some of the best salmon I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly and was easily the highlight of the meal. We stopped in on a Friday for happy hour, which runs from 3-6 PM. Bar seating is first come, first served, and this location actually has TWO bars. We were able to grab seats at the bar, were greeted with water pretty quickly, and given the happy hour menu. Now let's get into this menu because I was pleasantly surprised! They have cocktails, mocktails AND food, with happy hour pricing at about half off the regular menu prices. For a restaurant like Ocean Prime, that's a GREAT deal to me! DRINKS: I ordered the Black Orchid, a vodka-based cocktail, and when I tell you it was BOMB?! Smooth, flavorful, and dangerously easy to drink. I had THREE, so clearly I enjoyed myself. FOOD: Since this was my first visit, I wanted to sample a little bit of everything. Truffle Fries....Crispy, hot and seasoned nicely. I especially liked that the truffle flavor was noticeable without completely overpowering the fries. Solid choice! Dynamite Sushi Roll....1000/10!!! One of the STARS of the night. The roll was fresh with shrimp tempura and hot tempura shrimp served right on top. The combination of the warm, crispy shrimp with the fresh sushi was sooo good. I would come back for this roll ALONE. Lollipop Lamb Chops......10,000/10!!! TOP. TIER. You get three, and these were easily another favorite. Tender, flavorful and cooked beautifully. Between these and the Dynamite Roll, Ocean Prime already has me planning my return visit. Short Rib Sliders....They were decent. Not bad at all, but compared to everything else we ordered, they didn't really stand out. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to order them again. Wagyu Burger....This is a FULL-SIZE burger, so definitely a good option if you want something filling during happy hour. It was good, but overall tasted like a pretty standard burger to me. Nothing wrong with it, just not one of my favorites of the night. Wagyu Stick......And then there was THIS. 0/10 for me! Easily the most disappointing order of the night. It was TINY....literally two little square pieces of meat on a stick/toothpick. With all the hype surrounding Wagyu, I was expecting some type of life-changing meat experience and... that did not happen. Maybe I need to try Wagyu in a larger portion or different preparation before completely judging it, but THIS particular dish? I would never order it again. Overall, Ocean Prime's happy hour was a HIT! The atmosphere is upscale and sexy without feeling stuffy, the bar had a great Friday vibe, and the happy hour pricing makes it easy to try several dishes without paying full dinner-menu prices. I would DEFINITELY return and the Dynamite Sushi Roll and Lollipop Lamb Chops are already on my reorder list. Those two did exactly what they needed to do! First visit: SUCCESS.

It tasted like it was made with canned tomatoes and canned tomato juice, lacking the fresh flavors you'd expect, lobster and crab legs are the same they use at any cheap seafood buffet Frozen! After sending the shrimp steamer back, I asked for the check and noticed they still charged me for it. When I pointed it out to the server, the "chef," who had picked up my plate earlier, came over and started arguing with me. He loudly claimed that I had eaten all of the shrimp and only left one behind. I was completely shocked and embarrassed that he was accusing me in front of other customers. In 2024 when I came here, I remember having the red light potstickers which were freakin money! The spiciness from the chili oil with the scallion/ginger garnish and the texture of the dumpling made this one of the best appetizers on their list. Sadly I did not see it on the menu this time which made my heart sank. Fortunately they had a Xiao Long Bao dim sum available (soup dumplings) which come steaming in the bamboo steamers. Not to mention great taste as well! For entrees, my two recommendations are the Drunken Beef and the Beef Brisket Soup Noodle. The Drunken Beef is tender and packed with spiciness from the red chili with tender noodles, egg, thai basil, bell peppers, and sprouts. A very succulent noodle dish! If you're in the mood for soups, the Beef Brisket Soup Noodle is the way to go. There's tender chunks of brisket mixed in the broth with egg noodles and bok choy mixed in. Excellent spices with that 5-spice chinese smell that hits your nostrils when the bowl is placed in front of you. One of the most awesome noodle soups I've ever had! I usually sit at the bar area which is in front of the kitchen but tables are here too. Make reservations or come early as this place does get filled up. Cannot recommend this place enough; it's part of my rotation whenever I'm in Vegas!

Looking on Yelp for ideas in the area, we came across Luke's Lobster. After walking around, following maps to find it, we FINALLY found the little shack outside of New York New York. It's outside on the corner of the streets if you're looking for it. We ordered the lobster flight. This came with 3 small lobster rolls in different flavors: original, truffle and hot honey. My favorite was the hot honey. I like the sweetness of the lobster and the honey together with just a tiny kick to it. They were all good though. The man who helped us was friendly and prompt. We ordered and he told us he would bring out the food once ready. So we found a table nearby. It was maybe a 10 minute wait, so not super long. He brought out our food and we enjoyed every bite. I would recommend checking out Luke's if you're in Vegas and looking for some delicious food. There is plenty of seating around the area. Will definitely be back.

It was really good, even though I had no idea what to expect. Don't let the small space fool you, they do an awesome job. There was so much lobster, and it came with chips and a craft soda. Considering all that, it was a great deal, especially compared to the prices of other places on the strip.

Not your average slaw! We combine a shredded cabbage blend with our own poppyseed vinaigrette dressing for a light, refreshing side dish.
