    This was one of the few times I've used movers, so I got a lot of quotes and went with One Stop Moving and Storage because I felt that it was the most reliable and with the best price of all the quotes I received. I have a lot of mirrors and art, so I stressed the importance of protecting all of these pieces and making sure they arrived to my new place in the same condition they left my old place. I was very nervous but luckily I was not disappointed. Here are some of the pros I found from using this company: 1) I got a quote from nearly a dozen moving companies and One Stop Moving and Storage provided me with the best rates, especially for the amount of labor I required. There were no sneaky fees and no hidden bills at the end of my move which I really appreciated!! 2) I have a lot of stuff and they were out in a very timely manner. It took around 5 hours to get all of my stuff from my old place to my new place, I was expecting it to take wayyyy longer than it did! They saved me A LOT of time and saved me A LOT of stress in doing so! They had large enough trucks and large enough moving supplies and packing materials for all of my stuff. 3) All of my items were packaged and protected exactly as I had hoped for. They treated my stuff with the care and respect they would treat their own stuff with. I'm very grateful that they didn't throw things around, were cautious in their carrying, made their way through doorways very carefully, and made sure not to damage anything along the way. They were cautious, secure, and thorough, and everything arrived in perfect condition. 4) I didn't have any problems with any of my items once my move was complete. I have heard horror stories of moving companies breaking items or puncturing walls, and I did not have any of these problems (or anything even close to it!!!) with One Stop! I would hire them again and have already recommended them to my parents. They were the difference between "good" movers and "great" movers!

The day before the move I received a confirmation call. Dmitry and Andrei showed up on time with the big white truck. Our one bedroom/ one bath upstairs apartment had 65-70 boxes in addition to normal furniture. The destination for drop had an elevator. These guys worked non-stop and fast while carefully wrapping furniture with plastic and furniture pads. Boxes upon boxes were stacked and moved out. The guys were friendly and professional. This was not their first rodeo and it showed. They were on a mission! We led them to the destination and they efficiently brought everything into the new unit, unwrapped and placed all the contents of the former home. 4.25 hours later and the moving nightmare was completed. Everything appears to be in tip top shape. They even offered to have us look in the truck to be sure nothing was left behind. Thorough and again, professional. We didn't have to deal with "sticker shock" and unexpected up charges. We have no idea how these guys can do what they do but we thank them wholeheartedly. Tips were deserved. We read the Yelp reviews and they add up to our experience. We have already referred someone to them. We'd have zero reservations to refer anyone in the future!

Elena was my first point of contact and was extremely sharp, responsive, and organized in getting everything scheduled. She coordinated an in-person survey, which no other company even offered, and that made a huge difference. Johnny then walked us through the process, gave us clear coaching on how to prepare, and set expectations that were spot on. Moving day was even more impressive. The trucks arrived extremely clean and fully branded, with all licensing and DOT numbers clearly displayed, which immediately gave me confidence that I was dealing with a legitimate, professional operation. The crew--Kenny, Tristan, Mike, Philip, James, and Arthur--were all big, strong, hardworking guys who clearly knew what they were doing. They showed up in full uniform with matching shirts and hats, all branded, and carried themselves professionally the entire time. Communication was clear, and everyone was focused and efficient. They came fully prepared with every tool and piece of equipment you could think of. Nothing was overlooked. All of our furniture was carefully wrapped and padded--true 360 protection on dressers, nightstands, bed frames, everything. Not a single item was scratched or damaged. We had some more complex items, including a heavy upright piano and multiple large TVs (85" OLED, 75" OLED Samsung), and they handled everything flawlessly. They brought proper TV boxes, protected everything correctly, and even mounted our television at the new place. Even though they don't typically handle packing last minute, they still accommodated us and helped with some light kitchen packing, which we really appreciated. They also placed all mattresses into mattress bags and kept everything clean and sanitary, including properly protecting the box springs. The loading process was impressive to watch--they were basically playing Tetris with the truck and maximizing space while still keeping everything safe and secure. The unload was even faster, and everything arrived exactly as it left. No damage, no issues--just smooth execution from start to finish. Overall, the job took less time than I expected, was completely stress-free, and exceeded every expectation. Every single person on the team was competent, professional, and took pride in their work. If you're looking for a moving company that is organized, licensed, detail-oriented, and truly cares about doing the job right, Movers By The Sea is the one. Absolutely a 5-star experience. I was feeling a little stressed and came to yelp to get mover quotes from multiple movers. I ended up picking Sunshine Moving and was so grateful they were able to accommodate a next day move for a very reasonable price and they did a great job for us. The movers showed up early at the ABF location. I was so happy to see them as we were already there. They helped us unload the items from the container to their truck and then drove to our place. They did a great job and were very careful with our items. There is a 3 hour minimum but they were done well before then since we opted to do the unpacking of the boxes ourselves. They did help us bring the heavy items up the stairs and placed them in the location we requested. I would definitely use them again for our next move.

    UPDATE UPDATE: I am updating my review to reflect that the company reached out to me directly after…read moremy initial feedback and worked with me to resolve the situation. While my original experience with how the storage unit was packed was frustrating, the owner followed up, took responsibility, and sent a team back out to reorganize everything at no additional cost. The second team, Erkosh, Diego, and Rocky did a much better job organizing the unit, creating a walkway, properly placing furniture, and taking extra care with wrapping and securing items. In addition, the company offered a partial refund to make up for the inconvenience, which I appreciate. Overall, while the initial experience wasn't ideal, I do value the effort made to correct it and the level of customer service shown in resolving the issue. ---------------------- UPDATE: After posting my original review, the company reached out to me directly almost immediately and offered to come back and reorganize my storage unit at no additional cost. I do appreciate that they took responsibility and are working to resolve the situation. I will update this review again after the reorganization is completed to reflect the final outcome and overall experience with their customer service and follow-through. ---------------------------------------- I had a very disappointing experience with this moving service, especially considering the cost. For approximately $650 for about 3 hours of work, I expected a reasonable level of care, organization, and professionalism. While the team did move my belongings into the storage unit, the way everything was packed showed a clear lack of attention to detail. Large, fragile items like my flat-screen TVs were placed directly at the unit's entrance, making them vulnerable to damage. Boxes were stacked without any clear organization; many were turned around so that labels were not visible; and items were not arranged stably or logically. Several belongings I specifically wanted to keep accessible are now buried and difficult to reach. Additionally, some items were packed into boxes by the movers without any labels or indication of what was inside, making it even more difficult to locate essential items. Trash -- including food waste -- was also left behind in my cart, which created a strong odor and is completely unacceptable in a storage environment. I had communicated ahead of time that I was not feeling well, and I was reassured that the team would take care of everything so I wouldn't have to worry. I did briefly step away to get cash for payment and ensure nothing was left behind at the apartment, and when I returned, the truck had already been fully unloaded and packed into the unit. Despite this, I had provided clear instructions on how certain items (especially electronics) should be handled and stored, but they were not followed. I am only now able to fully assess the condition of the unit after recovering from illness, and the issues with how everything was packed are still clearly evident. Even without constant supervision, I expected a basic level of professionalism. Instead, the packing felt rushed and careless, and I now have to go back and reorganize the unit myself. I would appreciate a response regarding how this situation can be addressed.
